I LOVE the Arms Library. I was here all the time growing up due to my parent's instilling me with a desire to read as much as possible. I can't recall how long Lewis has been the head librarian but he has always been very helpful to my family when we go in. He will often make recommendations based on what he thinks we would enjoy. Beautiful building as well.
Weird side note, I just to have a reoccurring dream as a kid where the back stacks were about twice as high and went back two to three times as far. And there was a staircase that went along the back wall into a basement where there was even more books stacked. Well what happens when they redo the library? There is a staircase along the back wall that goes into the basement where there is another room of books on the stacks. How creepy is that?
