Great wine, delicious appetizer, rustic ambiance, comfy couches, and great company make for a lovely date night at Armitage.

My partner had glasses of Malbec by a name I don't remember and I had the Duckhorn "Migration" Pinot Noir.  We were so pleased.  I really loved the tomato, cucumber, kalamata olives, and feta topped hummus.  It was delicious!  Best part was the dim lit room with brown leather couches to sit in.  Didn't have a chance to see the patio but I bet it was lovely as well on a beautiful night.  I was happy with the service as well.  If you can make it for either of the Happy Hours (Mon-Sun) 4-7pm and 10pm-close, they have appetizer specials from $4-7 and certain wine by the glass for $5 a glass.  So happy to have been introduced to Armitage!

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here, I'm far from a wine expert i wanted to sample white wines ... so with the help of our friendly and accommodating waiter I was able to decide on the "Worldly Whites" Flight sampler which was perfect parings for my bruschetta appetizer (fig mint and chèvre, proccuitto sundried tomatoes and chèvre,  and mozzarella basil an tomatoes) delightful !

Service food and lighting all made for a decent girls night out...

Armitage is one of my favorite neighborhood wine bars/restaurants in Tucson. I enjoy the atmosphere here. The smaller size is a refreshing change, compared with many of the cavernous Fox (and Fox inspired) chain restaurants in Tucson. At Armitage, you'll find a setting that resembles a Napa or Sonoma wine bar, complete with oak barrels incorporated as part of the decor. On warm evenings, the patio is a beautiful place to sip and savor the beauty of Tucson. If you time it right, you can get here for happy hour, enjoy a glass of great wine, and watch the sunset too.

Let me start by saying that the best time to go (if you want to save some cash) is happy hour... They have a wonderful happy hour, with many glasses of wine that are normally up to $11 for $5 or $6. They also have $5 appetizers during happy hour, and I suggest the spinach/artichoke dip, which comes with a delightful French bread & pita bread. I also suggest the highly flavorful hummus that also comes with pita bread. I've had the Brushetta too, but it's a small serving. Happy hour is Monday through Saturday from 4-7 PM (in the bar area & also on the outdoor patio).

The dining room is on the small size, and I believe that the majority of people come here for the bar & appetizers, not so much for the dining room. My teenagers and I had dinner here last night. We enjoyed it because the kids weren't that hungry- so they ordered smaller portions. Sliders, $14.50 with cheese & caramelized onions (they charge $2 extra for cheese & .50 extra for the caramelized onions), and Mac & Cheese (a small portion that comes with bread for $10). I had the vegetarian ravioli, which was flavorful, and tossed in a light cream sauce, but was, however a bit undercooked for $16. The service is prompt and efficient. Our waiter knew the menu very well, and made some great suggestions.

If you like full bodied red wine, I highly recommend their Petit Sirrah, "The Crusher," which is regularly $11, but it's $6 at happy hour. Our check came to $75 with tax and tip. A bit pricey for the small portions, and two of the three people in our party drank soda, not wine. But like I said- if you are cost conscious, try their happy hour. I guarantee that this place will grow on you!

My boyfriend and I love Armitage for brunch on Sundays. We came in this past weekend and ordered the eggs benedict, the two-egg breakfast and the biscuits and gravy. All the food was amazing - in particular the biscuits and gravy, which we think is the best in Tucson. We sat on the patio, which was very nice on a warm winter day. The service was very good - though we needed salt and pepper and couldn't flag someone down quickly, so we went to get it ourselves. Overall, it was a great experience. We can't wait to go back.

I love Armitage and here's why. The wines are reasonably price and the food is delicious and on Tuesdays if you buy $10 worth of food you are invited to a complimentary wine tasting. The waiters and waitresses are always on point and seem to be there when you need them but not overly so. I had the Bruschetta board, which was okay, I've had better. But the hummus and the warm spinach dip were delicious.

Tuesday is definitely the night to go to Armitage!

Ive been here a few times and enjoyed my time. The wines are superb and there are some great selections on the happy hour menu as well. For food, Ive only sampled the happy hour menu but can tell you that the toasted ravioli and the spinach artichoke dip are fantastic.

Ambiance is great, perfect amount of lighting and the patio is intimate as well. The last few times Ive been there, they have had live music. Usually soft jazz or acoustic guitar. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Great for a date or a group outing.

Armitage sucks.  Over dressed salad and brie heated to the point that its liquid is no good.  Servers and bartenders are useless.  The bartender stuck his fingers inside my carafe.  I'd rather go to AJ's and bring a bottle home than go to Armitage.

I came here late on a Tuesday night. It was pretty busy and we ran into someone we knew at the bar right away. But otherwise we were not greeted by anyone who worked there and had to seat ourselves. We ordered a couple glasses of wine, that was the highlight of the night (aside from the conversation).

I ordered the halibut and my friend ordered the tuna carpaccio. Hers was good, not spectacular. I should have known something was wrong when they brought out a steak knife for my halibut. It should have been tender and flaky but it was the most dried overcooked piece of fish I have ever had. The rice tasted like Uncle Ben's bistro express chicken rice. I sent it back and asked to order the spinach dip. This was hands down the worst spinach dip I have ever tasted. Every bar I've ever been to has a better spinach dip. The texture reminded me of melted plastic and it stuck to my teeth. I was really hungry going in to dinner but I couldn't even finish this because it was so gross. I've never had Velveeta but that is how I imagine it tastes. The server was polite but extremely inattentive.

Overall the atmosphere was good and the wine was good. I wish I could say that I would not be coming back here but it's convenient and despite the food we still had a good time. Next time I will be eating dinner before coming though!

The good: Great atmosphere, great waitstaff, my brother said his halibut dish was great. Another plus, great spinach salad.
Minuses: My Panini sandwich wasn't even grilled on a panini press, in fact, it was soft - but it did taste pretty good. My coffee was stale.
I agree with one of the other reviewers, It may have just been a bad night and I will go back again for another try...

Happy hour at Armitage on a Wednesday night?  Yes, please!
I arrived at 6:30 and found an open table on the patio.  I had my heart set on getting the Caprese salad (my fav on the HH menu) and then added an order of fries.  I will skip the fries on my  next visit.  Their fries and dipping sauces used to be super yummy but they were just okay this trip.  The Caprese salad is huge (they don't skimp on their HH servings) and can make a meal for $5.  Tracy S ordered the hummus ($6) and it was enjoyed.  We shared the Frenzy Sauvignon Blanc ($16) and it was a lovely wine to share on a warm desert night.  Our server was fantastic and I appreciated that he put our wine bottle on ice.
Things to love about Armitage- Happy Hour daily from 4-7pm and 10-close.  I appreciate happy hours that don't conclude at  6pm.  Another big love is half price bottles of wine on Wednesdays!

A gem for Tucson! My best friends and I came here for one last hoorah in Tucson and I will forever remember the warm fuzzy feelings of happiness that this place (and the wine) left me with. The happy hour rocks with $5 appetizers* and $20 bottles of wine. The fries, which you order for the "gourmet sauces" are your average crinkles fries and the sauces are just okay. The spinach dip was pretty standard too, but the caprese salad was awesomely fresh as the basil, tomato, mozzarella, and dressing all complimented each other wonderfully. We also ordered bottles of Moscato, Reisling, and Chardonnay, though I tend to only like Moscato.

I love this place for its lounge-esque feel and attentive service. This is a great go-to place if you're looking for a casual but elegant night out and want to spend time chatting, eating, and drinking the night away until close. I will definitely be visiting the Scottsdale location!

    Thanks for a wonderful experience!

    * = Okay, so there's cheaper out there, but the portions were decent and you're there for the wine anyway. Drink up!

2 words: Eggs Benedict! This is my favorite brunch spot. We always sit at the bar and have our deliciously prepared Eggs Benedict. I am kind of a major brunch critic especially when it comes to my favorite dish and Armitage has yet to disappoint. I like the look of the bar too. Just a great overall vibe. After I eat my entire brunch (and shamelessly consider licking the plate) I am off to La Encantada for some of my favorite cardio, shopping. Perfect Saturday's are hard to come by.

I'm not a huge fan of La Encantada mall. I find it expensive and I strongly dislike the fake grass. BUT I AM DEFINITELY going back to Armitage. I had such a great time. The appetizers were fantastic. The cheese platter was the most beautiful display I had ever seen, and on top of that delicious! the ravioli was tasty. I also recommend the fries! The wine was especially good, I recommend their flights!
The hummus was very creamy and mucho garlic. yum.
I didn't give it 5 stars because i thought the service was a bit slow and our waitress took a while to get me from wine glass to wine glass.

    THE BATHROOM:
    one word. immaculate.
There are 2 private stalls, each has its own regular full size door, like with a door knob (as opposed to the stalls that are side by side and expose a foot and a half off the ground revealing your neighbors toes)
The sink was a horse trough style and the lighting around the mirrors were dimmed.

So this is probably a 3.5, but was closer to 4 so I went that way.

Met up with friends for dinner around 7 on a Friday.  The place was packed.  It was seat yourself, but luckily we found a table.

Service was good, though just a hint slow - but they were busy so I will give them a break.  Food good, but not spectacular.  Had an antipasto app that was yummy.  Everyone at the table enjoyed their entrees.  Maybe it was because we were enjoying lots of wine :)

My big con is that it was super loud in there that night.

Overall it is a decent solid happy hour get together place.  I will more than likely be back.

Everyone has a bad day now and again, I get it, I do, but crappy food, terrible service and a manager who just didn't "get it" is enough for me to completely write this place off.

After an event at La Encantada I suggested to my guest we go to Armitage for some lite bites. We decided to split the prime rib sliders and baked brie and when the food came I knew by looking at it I was going to be disappointed. The prime rib was fatty and the baked brie was SO baked it was sitting in a pool of oil melted beyond belief. I grabbed a slider and took a bite... dry, flavorless meat, hard to chew, hard to stomach. I moved on to the baked brie which was so over-baked it was near impossible to spoon it and make it stay on the bread it came with. I thought it was just me, but no, my friend Michelle agreed, both were nasty.

And then began the waiting game, you know, where you're not happy with something, you want to bring it up but your server is MIA. So we waited, and waited, and waited. And maybe twenty minutes later our server showed up while Michelle was in the ladies room, and asked me if I wanted anything boxed up. Crappy meat and terrible baked cheese? No thank you. I explained that we weren't happy with either entree and she asked me if I had been to Armitage before (odd question). I explained to her it had been a while, and honestly the reason I don't go there is because of sub-par ingredients and terrible service. She apologized that the sliders were dry and said she'd take them off the bill and asked me if I wanted to box the cheese up. WHAT? I said no, the check please, and she promptly returned with the check for just the baked brie and sparkling water we ordered. Then the waiting game, the other one, where all you want to do is get the hell out but you can't find your server to run your card. Ten minutes later she showed up to process my card and when she dropped it off I started thinking, "I need to say something."

I walked up to a gentleman who looked manger-like and said "I'd like to speak to a manger if one is available." He said, "You are." Ok then. I explained my displeasure with the food and before I could even get the words out he said I know, I saw the sliders, they did look dry, glad we took those off your "menu" (Freudian slip anyone?), is there anything else? I told him that the brie was so over baked it was near impossible to eat, to which he asked whether or not I've had it before. Without being able to answer he explained that it came out exactly right, it's more of a dip. Really? Because it doesn't say that on the menu. I finally interrupted his worthless ramblings because he made it seem like that's how you get a word in, and said that the worst part of the experience, and the one I'm wanting him to know about, is that it took forever for our server to come back and check on us. His response, "I have to defend her there. She's not one of our best servers and if you look around we are slammed with people right now." Pssst, I'm one of those people, and although I give you credit for offering me a gift certificate to return, my experience with the staff and the exchange with the manager was met with so much displeasure, I'm fairly confident I won't return.

For future reference, "So sorry those two dishes weren't to your liking, come back try two more and we'll talk you through some of staff favorites. As far as service, I'm so sorry to hear that it was difficult to track your server down, I'll speak with her about why she may have been slow getting over to you and we'll address the issue once I know more."

Know Before You Go: Yes, we all have our days, but if I can't even voice my concerns about my experience without be interrupted or shot down, I'll take my appetite and my hard earned dough elsewhere.

I had a junior league committee meeting here last week.  I really thought it was going to be overpriced because of the location but the menu was very reasonable with $5 glasses of wine and appetizers in the $5-$10 range.  With a $10 food purchase, on Tuesdays, customers are invited to a complimentary wine tasting.  Our waitress was also on top of orders and timely when it came time to pay the bill.  This is definitely a place I want to go back to with my husband for dinner one night.

If I could give a 6 for this trip I would. Absolutely amazing service! We took a seat on the couches outside early in the evening. Not knowing which glass of wine I wanted, our server brought me 3 tastings to choose from. And from the way he was speaking, I do believe he knew what he was talking about. Needless to say, I got the perfect glass of wine. Round 2 with the cheese board? Didn't know what glass of wine I wanted. Our server brought 3 to choose from! 2nd perfect glass of wine for the evening!! We were enjoying our stay and our server so much so that we ended up staying for dinner!! If I can remember our servers name I'll edit this post and give him a shout-out! He was AWESOME! He moved to Armitage from a popular downtown restaurant because downtown can be inconsistent tip wise. Good move my friend, good move.

Armitage is a fantastic place to enjoy a relaxing wine filled evening. I have been for Happy Hour outside and found it be busy, slower service but good deals on food and wine. They also manage to make a patio in Tucson comfortable throughout the year. I also spent a late evening inside with a group of friends, it felt as if we were in a catered living room with the comfortable leather couches and seating arrangements. I found the food to be fantastic for snacking with wine but I would not come here to fulfill an empty stomach. Overall I think it is a fantastic place to enjoy company of friends and wine and have enjoyed every visit.

My favorite thing about Armitage is the happy hour!  My husband and I can have a whole meal under $25 considering we split the burger that only costs $7.

I love Armitage on Wednesday nights.  This is a regular place for the Hen Happy Hour to meet up.  I usually reserve a couch and we just lounge around and drink lovely half price bottles of wine!  Armitage is an upscale wine bar.  Every night features a different theme, I can't remember all of them but I know Thursday is ladies night!  The atmosphere is fantastic at Armitage.  It starts out light and bright, and as the night wears on, they make several lighting changes and music changes.  The later you are there, the more "party" the atmosphere becomes.  I love that the guests at Armitage range from students to retirees, but there are rarely ever children.

There is a nightly happy hour from 4-630.  They have a special menu with full size appetizers for discounted prices.  The spinach artichoke dip is not to be missed, if there are more than two of you, order 2!  I also usually order a cheese plate with 3 ($15) or 5($17) cheeses.  The plate is served with crisp bread, a great sourdough, and fruit.  They also have tuna sliders, prime rib sliders, a hummus plate, and savory brie at discounted prices.

As I previously mentioned, I generally order at least one bottle of wine.  Wine prices range from the low 40's to over 400!  I've never tried any of the $400 variety.  I'm quite content to order from the wide selection of affordable bottles that become even more affordable when you slash the price.  Right now I'm in LOVE with the Kunde Zinfandel  1/2 priced at $28.   With such affordable bottles I've tried almost all of the red varietals on the flight selection.  I'm eagerly awaiting the latest revamp of the menu to try new bottles and appitizers.

Service at Armitage used to be second to none; specifically "Miranda" is the server to request.  She has an exceptional memory, she is a wonder at assisting to choose a bottle, and while she is friendly and converses easily she never intrudes.  In fact, you usually want her to stay longer!  Your glass is never empty she is there to pour and she is always aware of pacing when serving.  They have hired several new servers that lack Miranda's skills.  They do however dress in short shorts and wear transparent tops with bright bras underneath.  My last server "Dale" was a monstrosity, she did not clear any plates or pour any glasses. We had to request she clear and pour.  I had made a reservation for 16 guests; it was not an unexpected table or quantity.  Dale also neglected us fiercely and we had to ask other servers repeatedly to find her for us.  Considering our bill was over $500 I was sorely disappointed in service.  To the point if offered her again I will request another server.

Check out Armitage for the wine, the ambiance, or the Miranda's service!  Happy hour becomes a long happy night!

(I'm only giving 4 stars due to the recent poor service.)

Happy hour. That's the most important thing to know about Armitage.

In fact, their specials and happy hours are the sole reason they earn 4 stars in my book. They're really that good. They rotate, so it's worth it to check out their website and see what special is when and to go at appropriate times. Tastings. Bottle specials. Total bill discounts. You name it, they seem to have you covered.

It's not that the restaurant or the food is bad. It's not. But after more than a handful of visits here, it starts to fall flat. The menu is decent, but somehow feels constrained. I guess after trying most of their entrees and deciding the lamb is really the only good one out of the 5 or 6 options, it feels like a let down to never see it change. Their starters are totally unremarkable in both taste and selection. The wine list is pretty good. I like wine and know a little bit about it, so having some level of variety there is nice. It's got pretty good ambiance too. Part of me wishes it was the restaurant on the top floor, as I feel it would fit better, but they do well with the space they possess.

I think I feel that Armitage does have a lot of potential that it just doesn't fulfill. Maybe in time it will evolve. Or it won't. I guess I'll keep going for their lamb dish and see what happens.

Had dinner there with my GF on a Monday night, discovering that everything on the menu was half off on Mondays. Sounded promising, right? Nope. Seemed as though both the service and food quality were also down by 50 percent. Slow service -- our waiter seemed more interested in a Kim Kardarshian wannabe next to our table. Food came. My chicken dish was okay -- kitchen put too much salt on it. Girlfriend's lamb sirloin was gristly, so she sent it back and opted for the chicken instead. She told me that her chicken breast (smaller than my serving) was fatty. Apparently, smokers are allowed on the patio -- not very appetizing, either. GF said there's no point in ever coming back to Armitage. Hey Armitage -- are you trying to run a high-end dinner and wine bar, or a place for drunk smokers on the patio?

Armitage gets three stars because it was half price Monday. I think otherwise I would have been disappointed.

The wine list here is pretty uninspired for a 'wine bar'. Just the usual stuff, nothing that exciting - wine in America has gotten past Napa, Bordeaux, etc. There is so much more out there. The selections they did have were quite good - again, just a little boring.

The food falls in to the same category as the wine. It was competent, but felt 'slick' - almost like a high end Denny's in how formulaic it was. Decent flavors, average presentation.

OK, so after getting that off of my chest, I think that Armitage is a pretty decent wine bar - with the focus on the bar part. The food seems like an odd fit - full entrees and not a lot of exciting appetizers on the menu where more interesting 'current' ingredients and preparations would be a lot more satisfying.

The attempt at 'casual' seating and overall vibe is not totally successful - feels like they are just sort of committed to the concept - decor is kinda late 90's faux elegant.

    Hmmm.

Went for the late night happy hour (starts at 10pm) with a few friends. The wine was good, the whites were chilled but not freezing, and the happy hour prices were great. Service was good but not particularly special in any way.

Bruschetta was meh, the best one was the prosciutto with chevre and tomatoes. The other flavors we tried were very bland and uninspired.

The atmosphere was inviting, warm, and relaxing. If we had not left when we did I would have taken a nice wine-drunk nap on the couches. I love all the candles and soft seating inside, it really looks like a comfortable living room where you can relax and kick back.

I will most likely return for happy hour or a cheese board, but I can seek out the same cozy relaxation with a bottle of Yellowtail, some blankets, a fire, and some friends. This place is all atmosphere: a quiet contrast to the noise and bustle of RA.

I want to like Armitage but I can't. The atmosphere is nice and it seems like a nice place to relax but the prices are so expensive that you really can't get over it enough to enjoy the wine. We had 3 glasses of wine and the total was $36. Should have bought a bottle, right? No. The bottles that are the least expensive are $36. The wine is not really that special. You can find these at cost plus and save some cash.

Servers are not very nice or attentive.

Came here for Sunday Brunch at the urging of a friend. This is your typical wine bar and by that, I mean puny portions for more $$$. The location was nice and the service was fine. However, the amount you got for what you paid was pretty underwhelming. For instance, one guy friend ordered a short stack of pancakes. I assume that when it has the term "stack" in the name, there will be a stack of pancakes. Stupid me. A "short stack" of pancakes at Armitage consisted of 2 little pancakes not stacked but placed neatly on a plate with some powdered sugar. Another example: My girlfriend ordered an omelet and what she received was the tiniest omelet I have ever seen. It looked like it only had one egg in it and was about the size of my tiny hand (for those of you that have not seen my hands, they are ridiculously tiny so much so that the hubby gave me the moniker "baby hands"). This came with about 4 home fries and a small piece of toast. Now that was fine for her because she literally eats 2 bites of something and says she is stuffed and she has the waist line to prove it. Me on the other hand eat like a bit girl, an elephant if ya will, so I need a little more than that to sustain my appetite. I ordered the Armitage Benedict because, why else, I love Benedict and this one had a bit of upscaleness to it. It was on Asiago toast with prosciutto, Havarti and asparagus. Yes, it was decent, but honestly, I have had basic run of the mill benny's from Marie Calenders and Mimi's that were better and more fulfilling. Maybe its just personal preference and maybe I am just not that into snooty food. Also had the "Ultimate Bloody Mary" which I will admit was probably worth the price. It was like an appetizer with shrimp, salami, etc lining the glass. You had to eat through all the lovely little snacks to get to the Bloody Mary part. If you are a Bloody Mary lover, this is a good place to get it. For anything else brunch wise, I would move along.

The wine selection is pedestrian at best, the goal here is to sell an environment, but unfortunately they don't sell the vision.  Bar food was fine, but service was slow, even for a relaxed bar experience.

The bartenders were rudeband borderline inappropriate with the women in my group.  Not in the fun chauvinistic way, but in the creepy "this dude is lonely" way,

Drink in your car instead unless you like your overly sweet Pinot with a side of creeper.

I've been to far better wine bars, but Armitage was still nice.

Armitage's decor is very modern and trendy, while still maintaining a traditional winery look. They have a good selection of wines and champagnes, but their prices are pretty high. Still, the wines were great, but I have to say that their happy hour prices were basically the same as everything else on their menu. One glass of wine (again, at happy hour) was $17! Most wine bars serve all their wines within a small range of prices, like $6 to $10 per glass.

However, their staff were very attentive, so I can't complain there. But for a Friday night, the place was not happening. We showed up around 10:30 and the place had just under a dozen people inside. If I'm back in town, I'll look for other places to try, but Armitage wasn't bad, so I might head there again if I stay nearby.

As far as wine bars go, I've been to better.

On the plus side, the wine selection is pretty good.  The food is good, too, though I do find the selection small and it doesn't vary much.  It's a great location to just relax in the middle of a day of shopping.  The atmosphere is open and bright, and they have a nice patio to sit on.

The biggest downside is that it's pretty pricey for what you get.

Go here for wine and appetizer nibbles.  Don't go here for a substantial dinner or you will be let down.  I ate here for dinner originally questioning why we were eating at a wine bar, but went with it because it was my friend's birthday dinner. Dinners are offered, but don't provide the same quality as the appetizers.  The quality of the meat was kind of low.  My friend's tenderloin was flavorful but very fatty. She didn't finish her plate. I was very pleased with my dinner, the ahi tuna, since it was technically an appetizer.  The bruschetta sampler (you pick 4) was delightful.  As always, the wine and atmosphere was enjoyable and pleasant.

Armitage is one of the new places in La Encantada.

The atmosphere is very nice with both indoor and outdoor seating. A nice extensive wine list by the glass or the bottle. They also have some nice flights of wine and a limited food menu. They were playing ambient chill music which was nice. You could easily have a conversation and enjoy your wine.

Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. Armitage would be a great place for happy hour or after dinner drinks. A nice new addition for Tucson.

Come here all the time for their Happy Hour Specials!  They have $5 Wines, my favorite is the Benvolio Pinot Grigio which I order every time!  The appetizers are great, but I'm not too big a fan of their actual dinner and lunch meals.  I say stick to apps and drinks.  The waiters are super friendly, especially the Italian guy, he is great :)
They have great specials- 1/2 off your bill on Monday's, ladies happy hour on thursdays which is half off wine.  I am totally addicted to the spinach dip which is only $5 at happy hour and the caprese salad. The entrees are decent but haven't found any I totally love yet so my advice is happy hour! They also have a really wide selection of wine! Check it out for sure!!
FYI the Happy Hours i 4-7pm and 10-close, so lots of opportunities to get some great food and drinks at a great price.  I'd also really like to try their Sunday Mimosa brunch!  Pets are also allowed on the patio which is great, we bring our dog anytime we get a chance.

Nice atmosphere, excellent caprese, and great music (the guys of Ryanhood play on alternating Sundays!) make this a favorite hangout for my friends and me. Make sure to catch happy hour and it's pretty cheap, too!

QT: Summer happy hour is 4-7, 10 to close!

I met a friend here for thursday night happy hour/drink specials. For HH, most appetizers are $5 and they offer a selection of $5-6 wines.

Plus, on thursdays, after HH it's ladies night, so us ladies get 1/2 off drinks!

Now that that's out of the way, I'd like to mention that I am not really a wine fan. I was just in the mood to try something new and so we did. That being said, I LOVED their HH Sauvignon Blanc. My friend enjoyed her Pinot Grigio too.

The apps were all very tasty too! We tried the bruschetta combo plate with artichoke, tomato and garlic, brie and green apple, and pesto chicken. All were very tasty, although the bread could have been toasted a little more (I always feel like bruschetta requires a certain amount of bread toasting).

We also enjoyed the toasted ravioli and hummus spread! The ravioli had a bit of spice, but otherwise it was very enjoyable.

Went in here around 4.30 pm for happy hour drinks - at this point there was only one other customer in the bar. The bartender wasn't particularly friendly. After finishing my first drink I sat there waiting for 10 minutes for a refill. When the bartender did finally offer service I decided to take my check and head round the corner to North where there is also good Happy Hour deals to be had and the place is a bit more atmospheric (packed) and getting a drink is not a problem.
