If you're not Armenian, chances are you probably haven't ever been to this church.  But once a year, when they have their Armenian Festival, you should definitely go.

If you're not used to the culture, some of the food items might throw you a bit, but some of the more well known choices are shish kabobs, rice pilav (theirs was the best I have EVER had, and my fam is Armenian) sarma (called dolma in the Greek culture I believe) and lahmahjoon, which is kind of like an Armenian pizza if you will.  Their cheese boereg was really delicious as well.  And everything was so cheap and prepared by people who know how to make fantastic Armenian food because all of their recipes are from family members.

They also sell beautiful jewelry, clothing, paintings, statues and much more.  They have live music, dancers and other performances throughout the day too.  Check back with the church in December of each year if you're interested in going- you'll have a great time, meet some fun and friendly Armenians and eat fantastic, authentic food.
