Wow, what a great investment in myself! I invested in a one day firearms training course and have been shooting for most of my life. I was amazed at how much I learned, in addition to qualifying for my CCW permit, which I got from the Sheriff several weeks later. Kelly an Allan are more then just experts in firearms safety and training, they are passionate about conveying this critical knowledge to a growing group of Armed and Safe citizens. I did the Wednesday class at their residence and enjoyed the home grown comfort they provide. I couldn't recommend them more and for women, Kelly bridges this gender gap with ease. Kevin B

Very good training and best prices I've found. Price on Saturday is $60 for the full CCW class (8 hrs) or $50 for renewal. Classes are taught right in Sheels in Sparks, NV upstairs by the firearm sales area. Nice clean air conditioned classroom. For women who are thinking about getting a CCW, the class is very well taught by a woman named Kelly who gives perspectives on firearm holsters, carry and retention for women in addition to men. Very female friendly course.

I am a security professional. My life is on the line every time I do body guard work, fugitive recovery, housing authority , investigations, ect ect. I depend on only the best. Kelly is GREAT! They had me test for my Nevada CCW permit & helped me with other states as well. They are sharp, to the point, well educated & cost savers. Everyone who needs to be safe needs to see them.

Established in 1984
Armed and Safe Firearms Training began in Reno in 1984 in conjunction with the Mustang Machine Gun Range in Fernley Nevada. For the last 18 years we have watched the concealed carry laws improve for law abiding citizens and we have adjusted with the times to provide an affordable class to provide better access to your 2nd amendment rights. We even invite the general public to join us for free gun safety instruction during our CCW classes in progress.
Meet the Business Owner: Kelly M.
Kelly is a public School teacher. She started Armed and Safe and now opporates with her husband Allan.
