Perhaps I'm a little prejudiced since my sister is an animal health technician and I know a bit about what goes on at this clinic. It is unfortunate that some people have bad experiences but it's inevitable. Sometimes the vet doesn't know what is wrong because the symptoms presented are not usual. I know for a fact that some clients will not listen to what the vet or the technician has to offer, they don't hear what is being said, they only hear what they think they heard or what they want to hear.
That being said, I have never had a bad experience here and my cats have been coming here since 1993. Dr. Robert Esbensen is a wonderful diagnostician, the best! He may not have the warmest bedside manner with clients but he cares about the animals. .
I like the fact that all they do is cats. It's less stressful on the animal without all the dogs barking. Let's see what else?
The staff are very caring. When I had my cat put to sleep, they made a little pawprint mold of his foot out of Fimo clay (ok, this was my sister's idea, but they do it for ALL the clients, not just me!) Not like I get special treatment or anything, I just get to see my sister a couple more times during the year! -

We had to say goodbye to our sweet 15 year old kitty and the staff here were hands down the most compassionate group of pet care facility staff I have ever met(and I've had cats since I was 8 yrs old-I've seen alot). We were given enough time to say bye, everything was explained to us gently with such kindness and we got clay pawprints and tufts of fur for keepsakes. I'm bringing all current and future kitties to this clinic & telling anyone I know that has a cat as well.

Don't ever go to Dr. Bob there. The prices are very high. The don't care about your cat at all the only thing they care about is the money. If your cat is very sick and you can't pay the whole bill they not going to give you anything you have to come back when you have the money. Again they don't care at all.

I took several cats to ACC when I lived in the area. Never any complaints. Always pleasant and cheerful on the phone and in person. They even put up with my little one with a smile when she pitched a fit when it came time to draw blood. I'd still be taking my cats to them if I was in the area, but it's a little far to travel from San Francisco.

I no longer live near this vet but highly recommend it to anyone with a cat. It's cats only and everyone who works there is a true cat lover. Also they sell good cat toys.

If I could give this place A MILLION stars, I would! Paws down, there is no better place than A.C.C! Dr. Christie and all of the staff there are beyond amazing and extremely compassionate. My cat, Armani, and our family can't thank A.C.C enough for all that they have done and continue to do for the care of my pets. Bottom line... everyone that works there "gets it," meaning they understand and respect the love and bond between owner and feline. Dr,.Christie treats my cats like they are one of her own and she has helped me to understand my cat's needs and how to be strong even when things weren't going well. Things are better now and I hope they stay that way, but it's all thanks to A.C.C. Don't take your cat anywhere but here...they are MEOW-velous! ^---^

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My kitty was really sick and I kept bringing him in - they couldnt find anything wrong with him and were uncompassionate to me. My kitten was only 8 months old and he died and ACC did not do anything to help me. I ended up having to go to Oakton Animal Hospital who helped me take care of him as long as we could until my little guy passed away. I have no respect for Arlington Height Cat Clinic. I could write more on how rude and inappropriate they were but I would be typing all day. Basically, dont go here!

I would give more stars if it weren't for the gossipy big mouthed receptionist who sits behind the desk. Very unprofessional! Very poor taste to hear her telling a fabricated story about me and my cat, (who she referred to by her unique name) while I was sitting right there!
The Doctor who spayed my cat was new and not as experienced as I would have liked, but she had a heart of gold and was very kind. Nevertheless, I won't be going back. -

Having worked with numerous vets, while doing cat rescue/shelter work, the best thing I can say is - I bring my own cats to Arlington Cat Clinic!

I wanted to write a follow up. We have been going here for 7 months now and I am so glad we found this place. They are true animal lovers, and I feel grateful that we found this group to care for our kitties. We also are not into vaccinations, and all the vets have respected our holistic viewpoint. That's a rare find.
