I've just moved from Chicago to Boston. I am so critical guy on the car wash, this is the best place in New England area I tried so far. Fred and Mike did decent job for my poor car, I will highly recommend to visit there and so am I.

Good dude, very accommodating, does quality work.
Only drawback is that it's only one guy so a full detail can take several hours and there isn't much nearby. Plan accordingly is all I'm saying. -

Fred was fantastic to deal with. My new car had some serious pine sap all over it (left the car in the wrong place in hurricane Irene) and Fred totally took care of it. Highly recommended!

If you ever an annoying scratch that you're tired of looking at or if you just absolutely hate to wax your own car then this is the place for you.
The owner/operator Fred does an amazing job and since he does all of the work himself you don't have to worry about exactly who will be climbing inside of your car. The website lists all of the pricing (much less than you'd pay at a dealer) and there were no hidden costs or surprise fees. -

My fiance found Arlington Auto Detailing through some search engine, but we decided to give it a try because it was local.
It appears that Fred runs his own business about 9 months out of the year from a small location tucked between a community bank and car seat cover shop.
The rates was fair for a sedan at $ 165.00. Fred has all of tools of a professional - I was used to the garden hose and bucket type in DC. It was obvious that he used a clay brick to make a nice waxing appearance. The interior was spic and span, and we were left with a nice odor to boot. The cupholders and side compartments were muck-free afterwards.
I am about to inherit my mothers-in-law's car, a heavy smoker. He explained the process for removing smoke odor which sounded pretty comprehensive. I'll update the review after that job.
I added a couple of photos because the place is tiny, but it does get the job done. -

I was having a really bad day when I dropped off my car at Arlington Auto. Not only did the owner not give me any trouble for being a little late and a bit of a flake on the phone, but one of his customers who was just picking up her car gave me a lift to the Alewife T!
I came back a mere two hours later to find the interior of my car detailed and drying in the sun. He had carefully put everything that was in my car into a black garbage bag, and even refused the tip I offered him. If I had gotten the outside detailed I don't think I would have recognized the car. Definitely good people. -

I had my cleaned on the inside and some of the scratches buffed on the outside. As I was driving away, I wasn't entirely sure that I was actually in my own car. I felt like I was driving it off a new-car lot.
Fred did a great job and the price was more than reasonable. -

Arlington Auto Detailing is AWESOME! Fred took car of my mother's car that needed a complete detail in order to sell it, I'm sure it contributed to a higher price. You couldn't find a fairer price around.

Impressive attention to detail. Honest, hard-working proprietor.
I've never hired someone to clean the interior of my car before. After the elder kiddo got sick in the Britax Marathon, my cheapskatedness could not overcome the reality of the situation.
Now the interior looks near-mint condition. I'm thinking about having the exterior done so the ride looks like the cover to EPMD's "Unfinished Business." -

Dropped car off yesterday and I have to say Fred did a very nice job. I bought my 08 WRX 3 weeks ago the body is in great shape before but it needed a good wash and wax and the engine bay looked like it was covered in sand when I picked it up from the dealer. The car was spotless engine bay looked nice and clean and the plastic was looking great. interior was treated well he used a non gloss finish so the dashboard wouldnt reflect in the winshield. I am a smoker and I couldnt tell someone had ever smoked in the car. I would recommend I dropped the car off an hour earlier than appointment which was fine with him car was done in less than 5 hours. I would def recommend.

Our station wagon had 10 years of sand and kids' comestibles. For a reasonable price (including a Yelp discount), Fred had it looking renewed, inside and out. Super-thorough and reliable - as noted, you need to allow him a couple of hours.

The results were great. 11 years old Audi 6 with 130,000 miles on it after magical transformation looked brand new. Car was NOT washed or cleaned for at least five years. Two toddlers did many stains. Fred removed years old stains and scratches in and out, dull look and magically transformed old car to a showroom condition!
Audi was sold for the asking price within an hour of posting ad with few photos on internet. Fred, Thank you again for the amazing job you did!
I do recommend Arlington Auto Detailing to anybody wishing magical transformation of his or her own vehicle to a showroom condition!

After weeks of web searches and calling around to auto detailing shops within a 10-mile radius of Boson, I finally decided on Arlington Auto Detailing. Boy, was I glad I made this choice. The owner was there to greet me, and did a 100% thorough job cleaning my car. He even found the small spot of coffee I somehow got on my ceiling; and he asked if I had a small bottle of touch up paint so he could cover some rust spots that were starting to show on the car's exterior. I grabbed a stack of his business cards to hand to friends, but really, everyone in the Arlington/Belmont area needs to know about this business. After $165 and 4 hours of work, my car (now 10 years old and used every day for 2+ hrs of commuting) looks BRAND NEW. The attention to detail was phenomenal. And at my request, he didn't use any air fresheners in my car as I didn't want any harsh chemical smells left behind. This place aims to please, and I truly believe they are as good as it gets!
