Really nothing terrible to say about this rental place. Our 24' pontoon wasn't pretty when we got it; ripped carpet, some cigarette burns etc. But we were looking for a spring break adventure so that didn't matter to us.
The employees are attentive if stressed out. They are very no nonsense about the contract/your obligation but that's only because 100 bros walk through their door and expect to be given a speed boat no questions asked.
The boat ramp guys were cool and fast. We took reasonable care of our pontoon and got the full deposit back.
If I went for the next spring break I would consider renting from them again. -

These folks are very honest and have some greats boats. We had a very bad experience renting with another local place. Arizona Watersports really makes their competitors look like rip off artists.
We rented the 21' Carrerra Jet Boat. We were looking for a good Slalom boat that will also put out a wake for a wake board. This boat was exactly that.
They dropped it off right at the slip, and were there right on time!! The guy was very nice and we will definitely be back if we need to rent again. -

Rented a 24' pontoon from them for a pretty fair price. People were nice and helpful and pretty straightforward but the actual boat itself felt kind of sketchy at times. I felt like the prop was to high even when it was all the way down and i felt like the prop was getting to easily pushed. But overall would definitely rent a boat from them.

The Good: The delivery of the boat was to a public ramp, the delivery guy was cool, on time, and pretty quick with the run-through of the boat. Had a good day on the water.
The Bad
On the way upriver at the end of the day, the pontoon boat was cavitating with only 3 people on it against the current. After calling the rental company and having them send a guy to look at it, the guy believed the motor was mounted a little higher causing the prop to come out of the water with only 3 people on it.
They would not refund for the 2nd day and they charged me a service fee for the guy to come out to look at it, even though he admitted their boat had the problem.
The problem was minor and we could work around it... But there is a good way to do business and a bad way to do business.
The boats are pretty good and simple, but if something goes wrong, expect them to screw you... -

We have been visiting The River since I was a kid. When we moved from S. Cal to N. Cal we sold our boat. I was concerned that my kids would get to go to "The River" like I did. My husband promised me they would get to jet ski every summer. Every year we take our kids to Lake Havasu or Parker and every year we rent from AZ Watersports. They are GREAT!!!!!!! We have rented it all, jetskiis, pontoons & the ski boats. My four kids all learned to wakeboard behind one of their boats. My kids look forward to visiting AZ & the folks at this place always take care of us!!! They have even recommended places to eat that we may not have found on our own. This year will be our 17th year renting a boat from them. Has everything been perfect in 17 years? No, a couple of times we have had an issue ( a battery died on a boat last summer), but they always made it right! We have used this location & their Lake Havasu store. They have also taken over a location inside Windsor Beach, which we have not yet tried. Great people & great boats!!!!
