This is a great place to find used clothing in good condition. In my opinion, the location in Lawrence has more vintage items, but this store also has a great selection.

There are always some unique finds every time I go; from a black leather purse with hot pink ribbon on it to some kickin' cowboy boots, there is always something I want to buy.

The prices are really reasonable as well; ATC is not one of t hose thrift/vintage stores that jack up their prices now that thrift store shopping is 'cool' or 'in style'. Besides clothing, they also usually have some awesome jewelry, accessories, and buttons/pins for your bookbag.

The staff is always really friendly and laid-back as well. I love coming here when I need a few items, but don't want to spend a lot.

I had a vintage fetish back in the day. I still try to keep growing my t-shirt collection but it's a tough go these days without resorting to Ebay. Arizona trading company is good. It's insanely good for you vintage freaks and people who don't need billboards and mags to define your style. You're probably asking "How's prices, J.J.?". Prices are stupid-good (I use that phrase from time to time). I literally could of walked out of there with an H&M V-Neck and this rockin' white hoodie for about $20.00, both amazing pieces that I started to tear up over after I decided against  it.

Customer service was ok. I was greeted upon arrival by some funky girl with a scarf in her hair (major cool points for her look). While browsing for 20 minutes, nobody came out on the floor to say hi which was a little sombering.

Coolest detail? Glad you asked. Their policies for trading clothes and paying for merchandise are located on these banners that hang from the ceiling and look to be hand done. WAY COOL. I think all policies should be in friendly writing where everyone can see them with smiley faces or something. It's completely consumer friendly. The selection of jeans and jackets is killer and even I felt out of place with all the cool patrons and that makes me happy.

ATC has trendy used and new clothing at reasonable prices.  They also have lots of cute accessories.  (Purses, sunglasses, jewelry, shoes, etc.)  They have a wide selection of jeans that are well organized by size.  Venus and her staff make you feel at home from the moment you walk in the door.

Buy, sell and trade your cool digs. I love this place because there is such a huge selection of cool threads to choose from and I can always sell my clothes I don't wear anymore. Trendy? I don't think so.. You won't see Abercrombie here.

Oh AZT, where have you gone, baby? I long for the good ol' days when I would peruse your aisles for an awesome, cheap skirt for my much anticipated Friday night. It was always such a great way to start the weekend. Nowadays I'm lucky if I can find anything in my size much less cute AND affordable. AZT is a used clothing store for men and women that buys at a rate of 60% resell, 40% cash back. (They don't buy a lot so don't get excited about that part of the deal.) The selection was once diverse, funky, creative, inspired and fun. The displays were akin to sets created by an art student. Fantastic, alterna-tunes blasted from the speakers. Great looking hipster types gossiped endlessly behind the counter while sorting clothes and ringing up purchases. It was more than just a shopping experience...it was a pre-party. (In theatre this is called para-aesthetics....things outside the actual event that lend itself TO the event...ya' dig?) There are still elements of the old AZT; the girls are still groovy looking and the music is on. There are displays and the clothes are obviously more interesting than Plato's freakin' Closet. But something is missing at AZT that I just can't put my finger on. That aura it used to have....the fun and spontaneous, artsy, spank it, funky, festive, bubblegum flavored, get your groove on sista' VIBE just isn't there any longer. I long for it. Come back to me AZT. It's an ugly and uninspired KC without you.
