The place is great hence the 5 stars as far as service and knowledge of firearms.  Kevin helped me out with trying to find a lightweight flat top AR15, different optics and laser/light combos.

I didnt try the range but from the storefront it looked great! The amount of firearms from .22 to CX4 carbines was extensive. I will definitely be back with my wife because this place was really great!

Staff was nice to me on both occasions when I stopped by. Range is nice while at the same time charging a very reasonable amount. If you're wanting to show your wife or girlfriend how to shoot then make sure to go on Tuesdays because ladies shoot free.

Gun prices are okay but still a bit high. Can't expect them to match online retailers I guess. Oh well.

The store itself is pretty damn big and they do have a huge selection of weapons which is good.

I will definitely keep coming here.

Great range, great prices and friendly staff.

Probably as good as it gets in Broward. I drive past a lot of ranges to shoot here.

I've lived on Pompano for 11 years and have been to every gun store and range in Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

Arizona is by far my favorite even though I live within walking distance of 3 gun stores and one rather new range.

Arizona has reasonable prices and the staff is knowledgable and friendly. I would rather drive there than visit any of the "High end" places in Pompano.

I've been to most of the shooting ranges in the Broward County area and most of them stink. Dirty, crowded and filled with crazies toting 18 clip semi automatics engaging in rapid, rather poorly aimed gun fire. Then, often times the staff at some of these locations come off as themselves being gun toting, know it all but actually knowing retarded Nazi types. Hence, Arizona was refreshing. The staff is polite, competent and actually do in fact know what they are doing.

I shot a rather classic first generation single action colt and in most places feel rather out of place and have actually been the brunt of some laughter, but not at Arizona. At Arizona they actually seem to have some respect for those who enjoy target shooting just for the love and practice of it rather than only catering to those practicing rapid fire self defensive techniques. They also have traditional bulls eye targets available whereas some of the others that I have been at only had human silhouttes; which signified to me that they really aren't much of a "sporting" oriented business.

The only thing I wish that Arizona had, which it doesn't, is gunsmithing.

As a first-timer shooting real guns, I was fortunate to have a friend of a friend, who is a gun enthusiast providing the instructions.  I got to shoot a revolver, a semi-automatic, a 44 I think...total of about 4 different guns the guy owns.

Apparently I am a natural and quite a precise and accurate for a first time shooter even from the second red line and learned that I am right eye focused.

The guys who work at the place were friendly and knowledgeable; overhearing their tutorial to some first-time females that were ahead of us.  The store is loaded with all type of guns and accessories to be purchased.  I think they only have 10 lanes in 2 different rooms.  You can actually peak through the window from the outside to see the shooters.

All in all, I paid for 2 people for the lane for one-hour of shooting each, 3 targets, and 1 box of ammo for a grand total of $54.

"It's not scary when everyone has a gun, it is scary when someone does not have a gun standing around in the shooting range."

I don't really write many reviews. But this time around I have to. I made the mistake of going to a different shooting range today and I regret it! Arizona Shooting Range is where I will stay. The service is always good. And that's why I drive from Plantation to give them my business. Customer service goes a long way for me. This is my range and I would recommend it to a friend.

This was the second shooting range I had ever been to and it is impressive. They definitely know what they are doing there. They have a variety of guns both for sale and rental. I'm a novice shooter and I asked the guy behind the counter, Andrew, for some recommendations for a revolver. He gave me a few and I decided on a .22 that was easy to aim and had little to no recoil. After shooting a box of ammo, I decided that I wanted try a 9mm to just get the feel of something more powerful. I again asked for a recommendation for one that was easy to shoot for a beginner and he gave me a  few to choose from.

Overall, I felt that the staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They accept major credit cards and all levels of experience of shooters. Price breakdown was this (if I'm remembering correctly): gun rental $10, range time $13, eye protection $1, ear protection $1, ammo (.22 & 9mm) about $21/$22 each. But also keep in mind that when you rent one gun, you don't have to pay to rent another. You just have to pay for its ammo.

Also, the best perk about this place...ladies shoot FREE all day on Tuesdays! How awesome is that?! And, I've gone to other ranges here which were just fine, but this place is definitely superior. They even had zombie, yes ZOMBIE, targets when I went on October 3rd!

Great spot to take the Fam shooting.
Taught my little sister how to shoot here yesterday.

Either 8 or 9 lanes of indoor shooting, which is exactly what you ask for on a rainy day in Fort Lauderdale. Called ahead of time to see if their was a wait, but didn't need to because we went right into the range.

The staff will help you with any questions you have. They had my sister hold a handful of guns to make sure she picked one with the right feel for her small hand size.

$10 gun rental fee is good and you can switch the gun for free with any gun in the same caliber. They sell eye protection if you don't already have your own and you can either rent ears or buy a pair of foam throwaways for 97 cents.

Great selection of targets for every class of shooter and could not get over the Zombie targets. Good stuff!

    Will be back soon!

Note: If you are under 21 you need a parent with you if you plan on shooting.

I agree that this is a very busy range.  Visiting many ranges in the Ft. Lauderdale and Miami area, this is one of the better ones.  I guess because I'm a cop, I hate range nazi's..you won't find that here.  But at the same time, I think the staff should walk around once in a while to check on some of the safety practices of the patrons..a lot of sweeping and hot weapons being pointed everywhere but downrange...

The staff is very knowledgeable, and NOT in a gun nut, avid Soldier of Fortune way.  There are many guns for rent, which is always fun, but I will warn you, you're gonna shell out some cash for the ammo.  And you can only use their ammo in their rented guns...

Overall, I like my experience here, but like most gun shops, they don't have gunsmithing services unfortunately..

This is a very busy range. The folks behind the counter were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The inventory is impressive (more than the average gun shop). There was over an hour wait to get onto the range the day we were there and we didn't have that much time so I can't comment on the range itself. This range also has an extensive inventory of rentals available to try out. I would come here again.
