We went here for lunch and had the special which has a little of everything. Absolutely fantastic. The Chili Rellenos with pablano was perfectly prepared and really good. Service was excellent and the prices are a great value. I will be back. Thank you.

Family of four on Friday night. No wait for a table, although the service was a bit slow. Fajitas came out cold and at a different time than the others at my table. But they were delicious and the side plate of rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese sour cream a good portion. Large frozen Margarita was actually large! Tacos and enchiladas were all good, noticeably fresh ingredients and experienced Mexican cooks. Felt like a good ol mom and pop local Mexican place back in Texas - which is a compliment.
Atmosphere is very casual. Very eclectic decor, mostly Mexican and with some whimsy to either laugh or least entertain the kids.
Please be aware that as of March 2012 they are located on S Lewis at 58th street (The 6505 S Lewis address is a vacant building.) Now located in a Tudor style 'London' shopping center. -

Went here for lunch today with my wife. We had received a discount card for today, in honor of her birthday, because we are frequent eaters here.
I had the tamales combination platter, that came with 2 tamales, a nice portion of rice and refried beans.
My wife had the chili relleno combination platter which also came with rice and beans.
My portion was just perfect. My wife's was a little bit big for her.

This is a great value. The salsa is nice and tasty and they have some really picante sauce if you need it.
Great service.
The food score hovers between a 7 and a 10 depending on the visit, but I am still happy on the 7 days. The 10 days are what make the difference.
I love their chili rellenos with poblano. You have to be careful because they call something else a chili relleno and I still don't know what that is. Their carnitas are really good as well.
Family oriented, lots of parking, you won't leave hungry. -

Great food. Great value. Easy to find. Came here for lunch on yelp pointers and was not disappointed. The people were very friendly from the time I entered.
Here was the kicker that put an exclamation point on the 4 stars... It was Tuesday and Tuesdays are "Bald Tuesday." Yes... Those of us with a little less on top get up to an extra 30% off the bill on Tuesday! Clever and will definitely get me to come back next time through town. -

Four of us went there for dinner on Feb. 25. We were there early so the crowd was slim. All of us loved our entrees. The portions were large and everything was fresh. The service could have been a little better but was not bad. Warning: the margarita's are KILLER. Three of us had the frozen margarita's and they were strong. I think two of them would have put me out.

After all these years, I finally went to Arizona. I don't know why, but I have never had the desire to go there. The Yelp reviews told me "I should check this out".
Not as quick service wise as I would like, but not bad. Chips are fantastic, salsa weak, no spice that I could taste, however it is very fresh tasting, just no heat for me.
Food was tastey, no giant homerun. House Relano's were the standout.
I can't believe this place has been at my doorstep for years and I've never gone in. Maybe that's the message to the owners. When youv'e made the place so unattractive to a local, that I didn't want to go in, something is wrong. Get a new logo, get some press, make me want to come in the doors....
Anyway, good food, clean, local... All the things I like in a business. -

Excellent food and excellent value. The new location is just down the street but easier access. The tradition of friendly service remains the same.
Not much to add to the obvious, AMR is winner if you don't like the food and service you probably need a "check up from the neck up".
Please remember "Bald Tuesday" and the 10-30% discount extended to the follically challenged.
Trust me it's a good reason to take a bald friend to lunch. -

I guess I'm just lucky but I live about a mile south from what turned out to be my favorite Mexian Restaurant in the Tulsa area and I have eaten in most of them. The quesadilla's are the best I have had in Tulsa and what I always have when I don't want a heavy meal (verde with chicken is my favorite). I have probably tried most of their menu and it has all been good, very good. They have about everything you could want and if you are really hungry, get the fahita's, not only does the presentation get your juices flowing, but there's enough for a really Hungry Man! Or a hungry couple.

After hearing all the praise and good reviews, I just had to try it for myself. My fiance and I shared the special fajitas for two. I was a bit weary, as the fajitas for two was $17.99, but went for anyway. We were far from disappointed! A HUGE helping of chicken/steak/shrimp fajitas served with all the fixings and tortillas. Absolutely delicious and well worth the price. Don't forget to order the white queso! (labeled as "cheese dip" on the menu) Definitely a must try place!

Pretty good Mexican place. I was looking for something near my hotel that wasn't one of tulsas endless chains. Good salsa and bohemia, the spinich enchilada was good try it.

We were fans of Arizona Mexican Restaurant in its old location, and we're definitely still fans now. Everything on their menu is fresh and they make it really fast! Not only is the food delicious, but the staff is also very friendly. We've had their chimichangas which were crunchy on the outside and the meat inside was very moist and seasoned well (not spicy, just great). The chips and salsa are some of the best we've ever had. If you try their queso, it's white, and deliciously fresh (they get their milk from Braums). The tonala chicken is one of their heart healthy items with boneless, skinless chicken breast (it was just a little bit dry, but with the onions you couldn't really tell) served with rice and beans. They have many options to choose from, all under $10. Their lunch specials are also a great value. If you're in the area and you're hungry, you should swing by for some great Mexican food, the best we've had in Tulsa.
