Not your grandma's teahouse, you will find no doilies and fancy hats here, just straight-up tea at good prices.

The place is decorated great, and I hope to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the balcony view of the garden below.

And they carry pu'er tea. Yay!

I had no idea that Aristeacrats even existed until last week.  It was recommended to me as a meeting place and I'm happy to have become acquainted with it.  It's located on the square in downtown Lawrenceville and is really cute.

The man working at the counter was super nice.  He was more than happy to recommend a tea blend for me and my friend.  I wish I could remember what the blend was called, but I think it was something like "chocolate coffee" (even though that doesn't entirely make sense and I'm probably wrong).  It was luscious, though.

This tea shop offers a wide variety of loose leaf teas, both for drinking or for purchase.  They also serve cookies, mini-scones, and biscotti from Sweets on the Square, a nearby bakery.  While I wasn't 100% enthused with the cupcake I tried at that bakery last year, I had a cookie while at Aristeacrats and it wasn't half bad.

We sat outside, where there is a small table.  The inside looked very cozy but the weather was nice so I haven't taken advantage of the seating in there yet.  Chilly weather is lovely for drinking hot tea outside!

Next time, I am so trying the Creme Earl Grey.  The counter guy let me sniff it and it smelled divine.  I'm so happy to have found this cute little place and will definitely be back!

I discovered Aristeacrats on the recommendation of a co-worker. Another co-worker and I decided to check it out after we were done for the day. Upon entering the tea shop, the decor is relaxing, but escapes the overwhelming feminine floral that's typical to tea shops - major win!

Jessica, the owner, promptly came out to assist us. Her knowledge of tea is amazing, and she had some great recommendations as well. You can taste the tea if need be, and she was very accommodating as we tasted two teas and smelled a large variety of the options. She gave us great information on the mate and blue oolong teas that we purchased, both of which were fabulous. Their prices for loose leaf tea in Atlanta were beyond reasonable.

If I could read tea leaves HP style, I would definitely see more Aristeacrat in my future. I look forward to sampling a different tea and trying something new on every visit!

I was relieved to find a local mom-and-pop tea shop. I feel like places like Teavana simply charge too much, and apparently Aristeacrats even uses the same distributor for some of the teas. They've got quite a selection of various different teas and I love going in just to try something new. I love being able to buy some loose leaf and also getting a cup of something else on the go to try something else out. Jessica's really nice and always remembers me, and she's very knowledgeable. She's also created a very nice, relaxing atmosphere for the store. I highly recommend Aristeacrats!

This adorable llittle shop is located in Downtown Lawrenceville right across the street from the Visitor Information Center and in the garden area of the Honest Alley building.

They sell loose leaf tea, accessories, tea pots & cups and a selection of lovely sweets and goodies from a local baker. The owners are very knowlegeable about the products they sell and make GREAT recommendations!

Want your tea hot, cold, sweet or with honey? No problem! Want to hang out and use your laptop with the free wifi or play one of the board games they supply? Go ahead! Want to sit on the balcony and chill out over the butterfly garden? You got it.

The prices are great, the atmosphere comfy and fun and the service is top notch. A great addition to the downtown area!!! (and the Pina Coolada tea is amazing too!!!)

This place is a real gem!  I highly recommend it to anyone with a love for fine tea or has a curiosity in learning more about tea.  Jessica, the owner is great at what she does.  Her knowledge of tea and passion for only serving the best ingredients around will help you find something you like and have you coming back for more-

Great reviews here, and  I concur! Great place to sit and try a new blend of tea. They have many different blends, and the girl behind the counter was very helpful in recommending different teas to me. I bought some tea in bulk, brought it home and everyone drank a cup and loved it. I purchased a couple rooibos teas, a green tea and an herbal tea. It's really a great little place to have around. A good bag of tea would make great gifts too!

Very pleasant place to go. I like the idea of giving my money to a neighborhood store instead of Starbucks. The owners are very knowledgeable about teas and are very helpful. Go just to try their special blends. Wonderful place.

Great atmosphere and wonderful selection. The aroma of fruit, herbs, spices and tea leaves lingers in the air and tempts the senses. I wanted to leave with some of everything. The prices are very reasonable and the owners are a delight. If you like tea, then you will love Aristeacrats.

Upon walking into this cute little shop my nose was greeted with a sweet fruit smell.  The atmosphere is amazing from the colorful & unique hand painted tea pots to the modern white sofas.  My favorite part besides the seemingly never ending selection of teas was the friendly service we received.  The man & woman behind the counter were very knowledgeable when I was faced with picking just one of their teas.  Thankfully, they have their selections bottled in tiny bottles & labeled so you can open & smell each one to decide which one you like best.  I decided on the Provence which is heavenly.  I ended up having a glass of hot tea & got a tin of the Provence tea (which was large).  Also, the prices are very affordable.  This place is definitely my cup of tea :)

I had a great experience here. I'm a tea fanatic anyway and seeing this shop open in my home town thrilled me. The husband and wife team that own the tea shop are very friendly! They suggested a tea for me that was divine! The items they sell in the shop are unique and interesting and they have great prices. If you want a good hot cup of tea, they sell it by the cup or you can have a whole pot to yourself and sit down to use the free wi-fi. Awesome!

This is a great tea house.  The two people that run the shop are really friendly and the service and tea are great.
