I took my parents here for dinner and we ordered a large peperoni pizza with side salads and a bottle of wine. It was very tasty and unique. Its a very small place but the wait isn't too bad.
Service is very good. -

I think this is my favorite restaurant in El Paso. Great people, great atmosphere, and not to mention tasty. It suits romantic date nights and business lunches too.
If the owner is working, he will always walk around to say hi and make sure everyone is enjoying themselves.
Relax with a glass of wine or choose one of many from the beer fridge. Then move on to an appetizer. The garden green salad is awesome (they'll make a half order even though it's not on the menu if you ask) and the antipasto is delicious too.
Main course: The sandwiches are always fresh but come on, all we really care about is the pizza... which is awesome. I've tried everything on the menu but my favorite is still the Joanne's pizza with pepperoni. You'll be glad you ordered it. I've eaten at the Franklin location too but the crust at the Cincinnati location is better.
Top it all off with a bowl of spumoni and that is my favorite meal in EP. -

Great blend of location, fun atmosphere, good pizza and plenty of beer/wine options. Being right by UTEP this location gets packed, but that is what makes it fun. We went for pizza and wine one night and were pleasantly surprised. We had to sit in the back of the restaurant so it was a little tight, but fine. The antipasto salad was good, but the pizza was really good! In between a flat style and heavy crust, it was right down the middle. Tons of toppings and fresh ingredients. Good selection of beers and some affordable wine selections. Serves its purpose as the local hangout that has great pizza. Had a nice time here and we will be back.

Great place on the more bougie side of town.
Pizza is made to order, and you can choose from the menu or make your own. This is true Italian, thin-crust pizza.
The bf and I each had our own 9" pizzas (the smallest size). He finished the whole thing, I had 3 slices leftover.
He made his own combo with sausage, pepperoni and olives, and loved it!
I had the prosciutto & arugula pizza. The arugula is lightly tossed in Italian dressing and was simply delicious. The dressing didn't overpower the pizza at all.
The complaint: I expected slices of prosciutto on my pizza, but they only give you tiny rips of it and have no problem spreading it reallll sparse. What the hell is the point of putting prosciutto on a pizza when you put so little that I can't even taste it? I had 1-2 bits per slice...truly disappointing.
Also, our waitress really lacked in service. First off, she made it obvious she was only there to do her job, which was take our order, and not to provide good customer service or an experience. She didn't even crack a smile. Later on, there were several tables around us and their waitress came around asking them if everything was going well, and if they needed refills/dessert. We didn't see ours the entire time, and I had wanted a refill of water. She came at the end, long after we were done eating, to finally give us the check. By then I was fed up with her lack of attention that I just gave up on the water.
1 star knocked off for having good food, but not the best I've ever had, and another for the service.
They're lucky their food is good & that my bf wants to revisit, or I would probably not come back. There are plenty of other joints with great reviews in El Paso I want to try out! -

Best pizza in the Southwest. It truly is an oasis in a desert. The setting of the restaurant first and foremost makes it ideal for romantic dates or even Sunday afternoon family outings. The pizza here has a beautiful thin crust, and the sauce is delightfully sweet and tangy. Try the garlic and shrimp pie.
Btw, the cannolis here are the best anywhere. Accompany them with some of their delicious brew of coffee and enjoy the comfort. -

I randomly met one of the owners on a flight and he told me about his restaurant. Decided to give it a try and glad I did!! I've had pizza of all kinds and this blows even NYC pizza out of the water! The prices are reasonable ($6 for a huge antipasto salad, $2 garlic bread, $18 for pizza that will easily feed 3+ adults) and cannolis are to die for! Will definitely return again and again...

Absolutely delicious pizza and atmosphere!
One of my favorite places to eat in El Paso--this little restaurant makes you feel like you have left the borderland and entered a little eatery in northern California right on the beach. Ok, so you don't get the ocean but they have a fantastic selection of pizzas, salads, wine and beer. I am somewhat of a pizza purist and usually get pepperoni, but this is BY FAR the tastiest I have had in the city. The only small, potentially threatening problem is the fact that it's on Cincinnati street which while very trendy, has horrendous parking (basically none) which just means you might have to park a little far away. However, it is all certainly worth it for the terrific food you will soon be enjoying! -

Even though I live in Chicago, I heart thin crust pizza more than deep dish any day. Ardovinos has some tasty options. I couldn't make up my mind so I ordered two 9" pies for myself (leftovers - holla!). One pizza had arugula (soaked in Italian dressing), prosciutto, and mozzarella. It was tasty, though I don't think arugula needs any help in the flavor department so I could have done without the dressing. The other was a veggie/feta medley because I prefer a good food dichotomy. It was also excellent pizza. The interior of the restaurant is super cute and Italian, with imported goods, including a nice selection of wine, available for purchase. It's a neighborhood gem!

Charming place that serves good pizza. It's the toppings that make this a "gourmet" pizza. Over here in Syracuse, you can get NY style pizza by the slice and its just as good, perhaps better, at about 25% the price...even if you get a whole pie. I prefer the NY style over here...the crust is thin but not too thin, and it has a decent soft rim. The sauce is slightly sweet, but has spice and zest. The cheese should be well proportioned and not orange in color. That being said, this place would be overpriced and just okay in NY, but for El Paso, its probably one of the best around.
If this place were in NY (Central New York at least) it would get 3 stars, maybe even two because of price and the overcrowded and stiff crust/sauce competition between dozens of independent pizza joints over here.
Good service too. -

Bringing the Yelp to El Paso!
Memory has a tendency of making things from childhood seem larger and better than they really were. You know, the good ole days, like my parents say, and their parents before them, and their grandparents before them, stretching all they way back to cro-magnon days (you know Thog, in the good ole days we didn't need fire, and we certainly didn't grunt with Neanderthals).
But, with that warning aside, this place is as good as memory serves. Even though I grew up in San Diego, I would spend a month in El Paso every year with the grand-parental-untis and the extended clan. I know, five star pizza in El Paso? Honestly, this place has better pizza than most of the joints you'll find in either Chicago or New York, and it's better than anywhere in California (including North Beach, you snob). It's been in the family of an immigrant Italian family (you guessed it, the Ardovinos) who have been in the El Paso area since before WWII and they know their dough. The sandwiches and anti-pasta salad aren't bad either.
If you're spending any amount of time in El Paso and you want something other than mexican food (which is damn good here, not that tex-mex crap in Dallas or Houston) than you should definitely try this place out. -

Ardivino's Pizza was a quite charming little home-style restaurant with a medium sized seating room.
Now, while there were many good things to say about our service and dining experience there was a disgusting occurrence that went down.
The pros are that there are lots of different types of pizzas to choose from. My favs were the green chili and ricotta pizza, and the sun dried tomato pesto. FYI, all pizzas are served thin crust. Two personal sized pizzas and two house salads, and two drinks cost $26.
Now for the not sooo good stuff. When you order a coke, you get a cup of ice and a 20oz bottle. Don't charge me $2.50 for something that doesn't come out of a machine and can be bought in bulk at Sams for $17 a case.
And for the killer, my friend found a hair in her salad as soon as the waiter laid it down on the table. Ewe!!! I would have lost my appetite right there if it had been mine, but we hadn't eaten in 5 hours and were starving. The waiter graciously took it back and brought her a new salad.
So needless to say, this will be my first and last experience at this restaurant when I visit El Paso. -

Excellent pizza; this place has been a staple in high end pizza for about as long as I can remember (and I'm not that old, so bare with me). As El Paso still lacks a California Pizza Kitchen (which is overpriced anyway) this is at least an adequate equivalent. If someone can tell me of another place that serves Pizza with artichoke hearts, I'd love to know of it.

I had ardovinos on n. Zaragoza last night and my whole family loved it. I ordered for pick up and it was ready in 15 minutes. I loved the inside and I'm looking forward to dining in someday. The thin crust really surprised me but the layers of cheese and special seasonings made it fantastic. We ordered large salads too and they were delicious. The only thing I would say I didn't like was how thirsty we all were after, there must be a lot of salt in the food. Other than that I would highly recommend this place.

Just got back from Italy 2 weeks ago and had pizza everyday for 2 weeks-I so miss it!
I did not think this compared at all. It was okay- but not spectacular. I was a little disappointed. -

The pizza was simple and delicious. I think they were understaffed tonight because it felt like an eternity before we got our order. Nonetheless, we'd eat there again, but maybe do take-out next time.

Fantastic! Great service, great small Ma & Pa restaurant feel, and most importantly amazing pizza. The crust is thin and the ingredients taste fresh. My wife and I love to come here and enjoy their antipasto salad, a medium pizza and a couple glasses of cabernet sauvignon. All this for $36, which is very good considering the quality. This is probably the best pizza in El Paso.

Absolutely loved it! We ordered a meat lover's type of pizza (not sure of the exact name) and the salmon and fennel pizza. Loved them both!
We went at what seemed to be a more college student/romantic date time of night on a Thursday...or maybe just an off time for that particular night. There were no other families around with kids.
We'll be back to taste the other flavors. Next on my list will be the shrimp and garlic and roasted oyster pizzas. -

Some of the best gourmet pizza I've ever had. The ingredients are always high quality and the options are superb. I can't think of anything I would change about Ardovino's and it's often a place I compare other restaurants to when I'm out of town. I always have to mix and match a few toppings to satisfy some unique tastes, but the staff is always pleased to assist with any changes.
The prices are reasonable and Ardovino's pizza is far better than the larger pizza chains that are quite usually more expensive. Their house salad is one of my favourites and I definitely recommend the minestrone soup. -

The pizzas here are thin crust. Across the table we had a number of pizzas: No. 6, sun dried tomatoes and pesto, and arugula and prosciutto. The crust is good, but the overall the pizzas were pretty greasy. Not my cup of tea...
Dessert however was yum! We had spumoni, which is essentially a type of Italian ice cream, and tiramisu. Together, a little all too sweet, so it's a good idea to share. But if you've got a sweet tooth, I'd say order one to call your own! -

Excellent thin-crust pizza and wide selection of good beers and wines. The sausage they use is very high quality, unlike some of the stuff I've been served in other places. The staff is pleasant and efficient. My favorite pizza is sausage/mushroom. The prices are quite reasonable.

UGH. While the restaurant LOOKS promising, this pizza is truly awful. My husband & i are from NYC so we're pretty picky about pizza. We ordered 2 pies: fresh tomato & basil and spinach & feta. I swear to god if i had closed my eyes i would never have known what i was eating. We each took about 3 bites and left. To describe it as bland would be an understatement. Do yourself a favor, go to Hello Pizza (MUCH better).

Really some of the best pizza anywhere. I highly recommend the Johanna's and Four Seasons. The Garden Green salad is also a winner. There is some nice wine and chocolate shopping to be had also.

We went here after all the positive reviews, and Ardovino's didn't let us down. Beer selection is above average, and the service, food and overall value have earned a spot on our A list. And I would rate this a 4.5 for the record.

Try the fours seasons pizza to get a little taste of everything. The green chile and ricotta is a perfect blend of Italian and southwestern flavors. The market inside has hard to find import items and a nice selection of wine.
