Ardmore Winthrop has owned my building for over a year now, and I've been nothing but pleased with the company. They've been working to improve the building from day one, and so far we've gotten a shiny new laundry room, building repairs, a new mailbox system, a renovated ground floor, and cleaned up stairwells. It appears they plan to keep renovating a bit here and there as needed.

I'm still happy with the responsiveness of the company as well as the affordability of the unit (in my building, all utilities are included in the cost of rent. I never worry about a skyrocketing heating or cooling bill- that is worth a lot in Chicago). I'm certainly going to re-sign with A-W.

I've only been renting from Ardmore Winthrop for a few months, but I can't say enough complimentary things about this company. Everyone who works here, from the office staff to the building maintenance people, has been endlessly helpful and accommodating. They are the best rental company I've ever dealt with - no question.

I live in their Hollywood Beach building - probably the ugliest of Ardmore Winthrop's properties (it was built in the 70s, whereas many of their other buildings are lovely vintage structures), but it's very well-maintained, and the apartment itself is great. Rent is reasonable for the neighborhood and includes all utilities except for electricity. There's also parking in the basement for a not-too-high monthly fee (it's worth it to avoid street cleaning!). They even have another garage a block over with plenty of extra spaces for out-of-town guests.

Other great things about Ardmore Winthrop: they are incredibly reasonable about issues which can often be problematic with other rental companies. For example, my partner and I were both unemployed when we moved in, but they didn't make us have a co-signer on our lease. Also, we have two cats, and we didn't have to pay any kind of pet deposit. Overall, they are respectful and understanding and always treat their tenants like human beings.

I have to give special thanks to the building manager, Mike, who is *amazing* - when we moved in, we had a terrible time getting our moving truck out of the alley behind the building thanks to our utter lack of Chicago driving skills. So Mike actually helped us *drive our truck* back to the rental drop off place, and then had one of his maintenance guys provide a ride home. On a Sunday evening, no less. Talk about going above and beyond!

I can't recommend Ardmore Winthrop highly enough, and I'm looking forward to continuing to rent from them for the foreseeable future.

I ought to be ashamed of myself. I've been living in an Ardmore Winthrop apartment for almost two years and never reviewed it.

I love my little apartment, and the management is fabulous, absolutely friendly people. Maintenance is always around and always prompt, whether it's fixing an oven, cleaning the air conditioner, or...letting me back into my place after I left my keys on the desk (thanks, Mike!) All in all, I have no complaints. I'd love to upgrade myself from studio to 1 bedroom when my lease is up, but I have no plans of living anywhere other than an Ardmore Winthrop apartment any time soon.

I have lived in two of Ardmore Winthrop's many properties over the past two years. I have loved both very much, and miss living there! The management is wonderful, and actually gets to know you and help you out with your questions or concerns on a timely manner. Parking in the area isn't great for street parking, yet they do offer garage or alley parking for a extra charge. Most apartments have most the utilities included which helps a lot! The maintenance crew is always friendly and helps resolve any issues as soon as they can. You won't go wrong renting with them!!

This is the third apartment I have rented in Chicago. I love the management they are always responsive and polite in their dealings with the tenants. The maintenance staff is quick to fix any problems you have. The apartments are clean and best of all the normal utilities (electricity, gas etc.) are included in your rent. The prices are decent for what you get. I have lived here now for almost two years and I will continue to rent here until I run out of space. The management owns several apartments in the area so if this building doesn't have what you are looking for there are lots of choices.
