Review from Ashley P.

We ventured into Arde's Bistro after a spa day just down the street and we were quickly greeted by a friendly host. The restaurant had a cozy feel. We ordered the lunch platter which came with falafel, hummus, tabbouleh, doner, and Greek salad. We loved the hummus so much, we actually ordered more! It was a fabulous burst of garlic, which I love.
The pita bread was warm, lightly brushed with olive oil, and the perfect compliment to the hummus. Upon inquiring as to whether we could purchase the pita bread for a holiday party, Arde came to our table and brought us a huge bag. What a sweetie =)
Then Arde shared a special cake, made by his friend. Bananas and creme with walnuts. Amazing! If you are ever in southwest Missouri, make sure to stop by Arde's. You won't be disappointed! -

I love Arde's Bistro too. But this is supposed to be a review for Arde's Villa, and people are reviewing the Main Street Arde's Bistro instead...what gives?

Review from George W.
Joplin, MO
Wonderful authentic greek food with style. For a less formal Place he has the bristo on main st with wonderful staff and full flavor menu... My wife is greek and her grandmother moved here from greece and cooked authentic food when she was growing up. These are the first restraunts she has found that she compares to her grandmothers cooking!!!

Review from PAUL L.

We travel the country in our RV and are always looking for nice locally owned unique dinng experiences. We stumbled on Arde's drivng down Main Street in Joplin at lunch time. Arde's was so great we went back two more times for another lunch and dinner in order to try a few more items on the menu. Rather than get specific, you cannot go wrong at Arde's. It was like finding a giant gem on our road trip. We can't wait to get back to Joplin and Arde's.
There are times we look at a menu and it's the same old 30 items that everyone has, and we just can't find anything interesting. At Arde's my wife and I each found about three or four items that made our final decision difficult to decide.
It has a great Mediterranean flavor both in the decor and on the plates. It has become one of our favorite road trip stops. Can't wait to get back.
