One of the perks of driving the back way to Cricket Amphitheater in Chula Vista is being able to take advantage of some cheap ass gas. The clock-tower Arco AM/PM gas station that sits right across from Brown Field and Heritage Road is usually very competitively priced for gas. Yeah, after that you get to drive over bumpy, dusty roads past all the auto junkyards and then down some winding road---watch out for coyotes (the animal kind) that roam around even in broad daylight.
Your gas tank is full for a change because you can afford to top it off and you end up on some street right near Cricket, where you turn and voila! You're there. I really don't care for Otay Mesa-it is hot and full of big trucks driving fast like you see on Interstate 710 near Long Beach. But still this is the place to be before a show to get some gas and a quick snack to fortify yourself for all that Cricket pit action! LOL -

I am in the middle here!
Good prices but it is ALWAYS packed... you can wait 10+ min. just in a long line to get ur gas. Then when you want to leave its right by the stop lights so its hard to get out. -

Cheap gas...in fact the cheapest gas in this stretch of road in Otay Mesa. Because of that, beware that this place is always busy...but if you can squeeze in and get the cheap gas, it will save you money.
