Never thought I would leave a review on a gas station, but then, I never thought I would have a gas station owner yell at me just for pulling up. Arco is the LAMEST of gas statons there is. I hate Arco, and usually avoid their ridiculous "two payment terminals for the whole place" scene. Who wants to screw with all that hassle just to save 10 cents? But tonight I was running on empty and decided to pull in. Big mistake, I was quickly reminded of how undeserving this place is of any business, within 10 seconds of arriving.
The owner was glaring at me as I pulled up. And I mean GLARING! As soon as I walked up to the terminal to pay, he yelled from the office, in his broken English, "Can you hurry it up, I am in a rush!" He's in a rush? Well, excuse me for wanting to buy some gas at this dilapidated excuse of a gas station! It's not like I am going to waste my time hanging out there, but it does take a while to fill up an SUV, especially when you can't swipe your card at the pump, and actually have to pay an extra fee for the inconvenience! I guess he was trying to close (since when do gas stations close @ 9pm?) but that is no excuse for the hostility. My response was, "No problem, guy. If you don't want my business I am happy to take it somewhere else." And that's what I did, and will continue to do with this family's gas guzzlers.
