This place needs to be given proper recognition. It is the cheapest of all the ARCOS in the area. Also, it is the only one with a white dude behind the counter. Yes, I must be cheap looking for the cheapest gas. Besides...I live around the corner.

I would give zero or negative if it's a choice here. I was happy when I took my car there last year since it was close by and convenient. Jon who worked there behind the counter seemed honest but sadly he no longer worked there. I brought my car in for oil changes and found oil leaked on the driveway afterwards. This happened the last two times I had oil change there. The first time it happened 6 months ago, I was told there's something wrong with the gasket (?) and they replaced it when I took the car back. But there was black smoke and bad oil reeks after they supposedly fixed the problem and I had to take the car back the second time. They told me they cleaned the oil leak that time and the problem seemed to go away. Then 3 months ago, I found oil leaked on the drive way again and took my car back. The mechanic Dave or David told me that there're multiple leaks in my car and I had to have repairs done or it'd cause major damage to the engine. I asked how it was possible because my car was only 6 years old and he just said that my car was old. REALLY? I took my car to another auto repair shop and the owner thoroughly checked my car and told me that there was no leaks what's so ever. I couldn't believe that someone would just lies and tries to rip people off. I would NOT go back for any kind of service ever again.

At first we just stopped here because I had to use the bathroom. We were out and about and there was no way I was gonna make it. The bathroom smelled like its never been cleaned before, so you might want to avoid that.
We didn't buy gas, so I don't know how the prices were, however it was a good thing we stopped, cause we noticed that our oil was low. We were able to buy a small bottle inside the store and the cashier was really helpful with letting us borrow some pliers to get our cap off. -

I made an appointment to have my car smogged at this location, but once I got there I was told they had no record of my appointment and I would have to wait an hour... I didn't have an hour to wait which is why I made an appointment.
They wasted my time, needless to say I will not go back. -

John the mechanic, is a great person to take your car to. He is honest, and a straight shooter. They will tell you what you could do, and when you might need to do something without putting any pressure on you to actually have any of the work done. I've been told by other places, that I need to replace this or that. I will then take my car to Arco, and they'll tell me that my car is fine! Honesty will always get you repeat business, and I don't trust anyone more with my car in Huntington Beach!
