I frequent this place because I'm pretty sure that they will always have the least expensive gas in the area. They have a couple of guys there that are familiar with me already. I get a friendly greeting each time I come up the window to pay.
Forms of payment is either cash or debit card only. $0.35 is the fee for debit. Worth it if you're planning to fill up more than 8 gallons. If you only have a credit card and in a hurry but still looking for a bargain, go down a block to World Oil. There are less people and 2nd least expensive gas station in my list. Gas quality might be a little questionable though. ARCO I think has better quality gas for the bargain types.
Car wash is not bad also. A little old school because of the hand wash treatment you'll get for $7 ($1 extra for larger vehicles), which I actually prefer because it captures all the dirt in the car's crevices. You'll get an air blower plus towel drying at the end. Be generous tipping you guys! They work hard for it. Thanks y'all for reading, 'til next time. -

Do not go there:skip it
Waste of time and money
They are not a full service quality carwash and only have 1 person drying all the cars
so they never do a good job
Place is a gas station. (watered down cheap gas will kill ur car)use shell gas
Go to a real carwash like brothers detail center down on monument blvd.
Dont ever expect a gas station to be a good carwash -

I have been going here for the past couple of months because they are the cheapest gas in town but now I will never go back again.
I thought the guys that worked there were just being nice and friendly but I was wrong. The other day I was getting gas like usual, it was dark out and I talked with the workers for a bit because I'm a friendly person and enjoy the social interaction. Then one of them comes out and starts to basically harass me and demands my number. I told him I am already see this girl and he goes on to tell me that I need a real man like him to make me happy.
This encounter had shaken me up incredibly and disturbed me to the point that I can never go back. And believe me when I say it takes a lot to freak me out like this did. So my advice (especially if you're a young woman) is just to use the world gas station down the street. They maybe be a couple more cents but I know they won't try to be at that level of inappropriate. -

This is the cheapest gas station in the area by far! This station is cash or debit only which isn't very convenient, but with prices so low, it's worth it.
This station is always 20 or 30 cents per gallon below other stations. Gasbuddy informed me it's one of the cheapest stations in all of California.
There's plenty of pumps, but there's kind of a lousy layout, so you either have to wait in line or be creative in manuevering to get to an available pump.
The crowd here is a little hostile, as one customer verbally assaulted me to get to a pump; it's okay though, it's definitely worth it for cheap gas.
The employees are always friendly too.
My only other negative comment is that twice I have paid $40, only to have the pump stop at $39 and some change. I'm not sure why it doesn't give me the correct amount; I always have to manually pump it up to the receive the last remaining 60 cents worth of gas. -

If cheap gas is what you're after, this place is hard to beat. They're often 20 cents below the going rate.
Today, the "going rate" was $3.35 - $3.39, for what are the traditionally cheaper places in the Walnut Creek area. This Arco was $3.14. Its on Monument, approximately one mile from Highway 680, as you head downtown. Next to Costco. (They also offer a car wash.) -

Price of gas is one thing, and there are ways to aleveate that pain..carpooling's one of them. Having had my car in the shop the past couple of days I actually noticed it's not that difficult to do.
..but that's another story..
I really like the carwash here, they do a thorough job. Those guys work pretty hard, they lather up your car before it actually goes through the wash and that takes care of some of the nastiest bird poop (sorry guys). I always tip them real well and they've been doing a wonderful job for quite some time. Beware of long lines on the weekend, word has gotten around..
