Arc...there are no words. Or maybe there are too many words. Or maybe I can't remember the words because I spent most of my weekend nights [and mornings] inside this dark, grimey, wonderful, box of a room, losing and subsequently finding my mind to some of the best DJs in the world. You shaped my love of music and dancing and showed me what it truly meant to let go of myself and stop giving a shit. [Well, the e definitely aided in that as well but it's "all good bro...it's cool man, it's cool."]
It's one of those things that sounds ridiculous when you try to explain it to someone who never went - how could a club change the trajectory of one's life? How could a club not have a liquor license and still draw a crowd, which was of course, the best thing about the place. How could you make the best friendships/relationships of your life while having your eardrums destroyed and your mind blown by the best sound system in NYC? But if you went, you know. A single time and place that will never be repeated.
Arc, I'd give you 20 million stars if I could....and if you could give me one last night inside your walls, sitting inside a speaker....well, damn.

Arc was easily the peak of my clubbing career. Combining the trajectory of my life, time with certain friends, place in time of NYC, and where "the music" was then -- I miss my arcspace. Danny Howells for ten hours on the last Saturday of each month. Top that.

Arc was my Twilo as I had amazing nights there particularly with the parties that Danny Howells played at. The people, the staff, and the layout of the club was my little playground at least once a month from the years of 2002-2004 when it finally closed. To this day I remember all the good times I had there. My favorite party was Danny Howell's 24/7 release party as I met so many people that night and kept dancing as Danny was playing huge toon after huge toon throughout the night
