If you've read any of my reviews in the past, you probably know I like to support the independent businesspeople of the world. That said, I don't frequent fast food establishments. But, sometimes you get what my friend in San Francisco calls "THE SICKNESS!"
The SICKNESS is that craving for nasty-ass processed soulless corporate barely-edible "food stuffs." It's kind of like wanting "processed cheese food" (Kraft slices) on your pre-pressed frozen President's Choice burger from Jewel that you grill because you got a case of the lazies on that 95 degree summer day but still want to grill out!
So I'm drunk in Berwyn and all of a sudden get a case of THE SICKNESS! So I end up walking to Arby's (with the big ol' hat sign out front) to score 4 roast beefs for $5. So I eat 3 of them and pass out. All I remembere the next morning is waking up dazed with Arby's Sauce on my face and a half-full beer in my hand.
And my case of THE SICKNESS is cured.....temporarily! -

I frequently blame Yelp for things that I do. Who doesn't? Didn't get any work done? Yelp. Got too drunk? Yelp. Discovered insanely calorie laden treats? Yelp. Well this trip to Arby's is totally Yelp's fault. Or more specifically, John L.'s fault. Thanks a lot. Now I'm cramming my face with delicious Arby's. Mmmm.... Arby's. I've been to this Arby's a few times, only in the drive thru. Line not too long, service not bitchy, blah blah blah... "Mmmm... Arby's" sums it up.

I think most people know Arby's for what Arby's is. This location does it well. The staff is always helpful and patient (the family takes a long time deciding what we all want :) ) and the food is okay. I like the Market Fresh sandwiches the best. The kids love anything that's fried!

The lines are fairly short, even during lunch/dinner rushes, the staff at least pretends to be a bit more upbeat than other places, whether or not they actually are... maybe due to the lower traffic they're not as stressed out? Anyway I tend to get the homestyle fries instead of curly fries because they don't seem to be as greasy, and I usually get them piping hot since it seems like they have to make a fresh batch. Seems to happen at other Arby's as well. But yeah, it's good food, and when they have the 5 for $5 or similar deals you can't beat it.
