Fast food is not my cup of tea per se, but occasionally I do venture to Arby's where not easily accessible in New York City for the difficulty to locate. After departing from an appointment that was well received only to be mere feet of distance on Metropolitan Avenue to be electrocuted by eye witnessing electricity dangerously spewing from a live wire of a utility line, I quickly sought the nearest indoor shelter for substance.

Disappointingly from memory Arby's had the most flavorable chicken cordon bleu sandwich, which has been discontinued. I do love their very mild spicy curly French Fries and their market fresh Turkey wrap.

Service is efficient and attentive for clients to be reference by first name basis in a fast food restaurant is unknown for this Arby's #7737.  Facilities is full operational and clean with a airplane style lock "vacant" or "occupied" indicator on outside of door. There is a bell to be rang upon exiting for clients to loudly voice their appreciation of a good experience, which is much better than standard written comment cards to be easily lost or never reaching its final destination to the corporate headquarters lair.

After running around the St Johns university campus tying up some loose ends over there I decided to hop on a random bus and explore queens since Im never there. Next thing you know I'm on the Q54 and after traveling for a while we roll right past Arby's. Not sure if I was still even in new york I got off the bus mainly out of fear but also with the desire to try an Arby's seeing how I had never been to one in my life.

I walk in and the inside looked really good for a fast food spot. It wasn't McCafe nice or anything but it was good. I looked at the menu trying to gather it all in and the cashier working the register came over to take my order. She didn't seem to happy to see me, I'm guessing it was because she hates her job it didn't bother me because I would too but at least pretend too so I don't feel bad. I ordered the classic beef and cheddar cheese. It was pretty good but it did remind me why I'm not the biggest fan of cheddar cheese. The place did have free refills on soda which was pretty sweet.

All in all its was pretty good. The food was alright the spot was clean and the service was fast. The cashier gave meh service but It was the understandable meh service not omg meh service I would come back if I'm ever around there again.

I was so disappointed when Niederstien's- the German restaurant that had stod in the spot where Arby's now is for over 100 years was demolished and replaced by a fast food restaurant. In an irrelevant nod to it's predecessor, this Arby's has German style lights and a few decorative touches that were i suppose meant to honor the memory of the restaurant they replaced, which had served the community as a restaurant and a place for family dinners after funerals in the many surrounding cemeteries for so long.
That aside, this Arby's is par for the course for a fast food chain. The food is the same as what I've had in other Arby's. The seating area, however is a lot more decorative than most fast food joints.
People do seem to come barreling across traffic and into this lot off of Metropolitan Avenue, so use caution while walking by on the sidewalk.

Oh Arby's, how I love thee.  We all know NYC is lacking in it's fast food offerings (no Chic-fil-a, Arby's, or Sonic in Manhattan proper), so when I found out from Jill that there was a new Arby's in town, I almost had a heart attack.

Three trains and 45 minutes later, I finally arrived at Arby's in Queens.  Oh, glorious, glorious Arby's.  Man have I missed you.

I got my usually cheddar fries and medium roast, for if I got anything else it would be like committing adultery.  It's even better than I remembered.  Everything was hot and delish straight from the fryer.  The "restaurant" is brand spanking new.  Everything is sparkling clean.

Minus one point for trying to charge me for a refill of unsweet tea.  I'm sorry, but when you're giving free refills of coffee, pepsi and other sodas, don't even try to make me pay for a refill of tea.  Just because you keep it behind the counter doesn't mean I will pay for a refill when there's free refills of everything else.  Don't discriminate against tea drinkers.

If you love Arby's... go... NOW!

oh arby's. i love you deeply.

you've been a "insert the last part of the last line of the first verse of the Golden Girls theme" for so many years.

now you've popped up, brand spankin' new just down the street from my bushwick digs.

i will be visiting you often. we will grow old together. although i'll probably die first due to an acute roast beef blockage in my ticker.

    whatevs.

    *smooch!

Arby's is not four stars!...  Any other Arby's I would probably give two stars.  That's judging against other fast food places.  This one gets 1 star becuase it occupies the space where Neiderstein's stood for many, many years.  About 135!....   So we go from that to Arby's.  I grew up in Middle Village so this kind of pissess me off....   Niedersteins was not a great restuarant but who needs Arby's.  The even knocked down the biudling to make way for it.

What can I say? It's fast food but they have a kick ass blue cheese roast beef sandwich and one of the best BLT sandwiches I ever had besides my moms. Can't beat that! Curly fries are always good. Nothing much else to say. Roast beef is pretty good.

Ya can't go wrong with the only Arby's that I've found in the NYC area that's a train/bus ride away.  The place is big, clean (the bathroom, eh...It's like a fast food bathroom, kinda messy).  I'm just happy to find one in the area.  Go curly fries!

Not bad at all service is usually at least mediocre but plenty of seats/tables open. Free refills are always a nice touch. Neidersteins was falling apart and if people from middle village loved it so much why didnt another restauranteur or even the community get together buy it and restore it.
