I prefer this Arby's location specifically over most others...
I used to work closer to here so I'd end up here a lot, since my boss liked it a lot... Fast food employees in Chicago tend to be rude and not very customer service oriented. This location is different... The employees here are probably the nicest fast food workers I've ever encountered. It's like they actually like being at work.
I occasionally end up here still and not much has changed, the workers are great. They're always friendly and will strike up a conversation with you if they're not busy.
I'm eating a Market Fresh sandwich as I write this, and I found a LONG black hair in it... -1 for that. I uploaded a picture of it for fun. Not cool Arby's, though I called and the manager was very apologetic about it. (though I seem to ALWAYS find food in my hair at all types of places, so I'm over it) -

I ain't gonna lie. I have never been to you, sweet sweet Arby's, but the fact that you're right there, in the middle of the Loop, your sweet sweet iridescent folds of tender succulent oversalted thinly-sliced roasted beef waiting to be eaten in Chicago's Downtown, all the time, even during lunch hours, well, it REALLY REALLY makes me consider making the move to the Windy City.
Like I said, I ain't gonna lie, I'm also a little aroused.Listed in: Gasp! I left California!!!, Supersize Me!

Beef and cheddar goodness.. yum. That awesome sweet red ranch sauce or whatever the hell it is sauce".
Why the hell would they offer Beef n cheddar with Bacon!? Are you F'in crazy? As if, just the beef and all that gooey cheddar isn't enough! Bacon too.. heart burn/heart attack!
They give free soda refills at this location, sweeeet!
Service is pretty quick, except when, only ladies are manning the counter, especially when/if their friends come to visit, usually in the late afternoons, which is when I have my lunch, which sucks. Aaargh! I have to listen to their drama while I wait extraaaa loooong for my beefy goodness.
They have sidewalk seating.. good people watching area. Inside there is LOTS of seating, they share a space with Sbarro's and Burrito Beach. Tables.. clean? eh.. well its not filthy, but, I'd say, wipe off your seat and table. Lysol wipes, use'em if you got'em.
I just have to touch on Mr. B's review.. dude.. its a fast food joint! Everything is genetically modified. If it was all natural "franken" anything we really, would never know. -

This Arby's is located in the same building as a Sbarro and a Burrito Beach.
Tried the new bacon-cheddar roast burger. The sandwich was pretty tasteless and the meat was dry. What do you expect from a fast-food chain? I would, however, recommend the potato bites: they're ordered so rarely that the staff is forced to make them to order, so they come out nice and fresh. They were the only bright spot in my meal and a nice surprise.
Service was typical factory fast-food: brusque and uncaring. -

I don't eat the food here, but the Jamocha shakes are SO good. Much cheaper than shakes at neighboring places like Potbelly's.
Once I ordered a shake and the register was all messed up so they gave it to me for free. Nice. -

At one point in time I was a big Arby's fan. Loved the "fake" roast beef sandwiches. Sue me, I am from the Midwest. But slowly I have moved away from all things fast food. And my last visit to this location was the clincher. I waited a good 25 minutes, along with the other 10 customers, for my sandwich. It was 2 PM in the afternoon, so not so much the lunch rush. The delivered sandwich was poorly made, not thinly sliced, and had the taste of spam, scrapple (for those never to step foot in Philly, look it up) and every artificial chemical known in the restaurant industry. Lastly, no ketchup or special sauce in the dispensers. It saddened me that this sandwich will ruin the memory of all the others.
One star is given to the server who was visibly frazzled by the delay of the kitchen staff and offered everyone their choice of dessert when they finally picked up their order.
I would also add half a star for watching the grizzly man put his wrapped sandwich in his front pocket. -

I don't eat fast food, except Arby's. I love Arby's. I adore Arby's. I am extremely pleased with the fact that there is an Arby's within easy walking distance of our condo. I don't care that it's fast food. I don't care that it's unhealthy. I don't care that it's mass produced... some things just need to be mass produced to be good, and Arby's roast beef sandwiches + Arby's sauce are two of those things. Miraculous.

This is Arby's you know what you are getting into before you walk in. Food at this location is on par with any other Arby's I have eaten at. They have plenty of seating if you want to eat there.

It's no secret that I have an insatiable love for arby's. this location sports not only a sbarro but also a burrito beach, all in one place. Come lunchtime this place is bustling with the business people in the area, piling in droves to get their roast beef fixes. Probably the next best thing to devouring into a succulent and meaty roast beef sandwich of my own is watching all the others enjoy theirs too!

I know ARBYS. But I heart ARBYS...Feed me a beef and cheddar and some curly fries and you got my heart!! xo ha ha I'm glad this place is here 5 min from my job in the loop so I can get my fix ya know. Nice staff and large area to sit and chillax for your lunch hour. Don't forget the horsey sauce. I know, and some Dr. Pepper. Peppa to you! xo Got to meet a pal from the UIC dorms from like ages ago. It was a chillax time. Thanks gal! (now i gotta eat salads all week to work down the calories and even take my booty to the gym - oh god, it was worth it!)

I've always thought that Arby's roast beef sandwiches were OK, but I've always had to order a Giant in order to feel satisfied, their other beef sandwiches just don't fill me up. Nothing else on their menu really excites me. Arby's recent TV spots advertising that their chicken offerings are "now" made with "100% all-natural chicken" have disturbed me quite a bit - just WHAT was in their chicken dishes BEFORE this big move? Good thing I always ordered their beef sandwiches...

I usually steer away from fast food, but Arbys is different. What other fast food place has curly fries and potato cakes? If I am going to eat bad, Arbys is the place I go. In fact, their Market Fresh sandwiches are really good and fairly healthy.
Service is usually pretty fast but the location is the least bit welcoming. I can never find napkins, the seats look worn out, and the ceiling has various varieties of dirt and stains. Out of all the fast food places in the Loop, this is possibly in the worst shape. It is decent if you can tolerate a below average environment. -
