I just got my apartment through this company. They are speedy, courteous, and offer some GREAT apartments, especially in JP. The listings they posted on craigslist were thorough, descriptive, and contained large, accurate pictures.
Tanya was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
I am so satisfied with my experience here. I guess they pride themselves on professionally managing and maintaining their buildings and units, so we'll see how that goes once I'm moved in. But so far, so good! -

My husband and I are beyond spoiled by our experience with Arborview. Very professional, always responsive with any requests. We had a fridge problem and now they've brought in a 3rd fridge (3rd times the charm I guess). These guys really take care of you, I'd definitely recommend their properties to anyone.

We've been renting with Arborview for a little over a year. When we first moved in we were a little disappointed with the cleanliness, but after a phone call to the management we literally came home to find our place smelling like roses (from something lovely the cleaning people had sprayed in the air). They are really prompt with service calls, and generally keep their places up. You might pay a little more renting through them, but you get your driveway shoveled and the grass in your yard mowed, so for us it is worth it. Plus they do have great properties in JP.

I had a great experience working with both Christian and Caitlin from Arborview. Christian was recommended to me by a friend who used him to buy her house in Jamaica Plain - I set up a time to talk with him via phone and immediately felt comfortable. Some agents try to talk you into things and push you around a bit but Christian wasn't like that at all, he was willing to talk through different neighborhood options with me and gave me his opinions without being pushy. I went to look at several different neighborhoods over the course of a few months as I was trying to decide what I wanted and Christian and Caitlin were both very patient with my throughout the process. Once I settled on a neighborhood, they went to a ton of open houses with me and gave me their thoughts. One thing that's really great about Christian is his construction experience - I felt like he could really tell me how much work a place was going to need. Once I found the place I wanted Christian did a great job of explaining the rationale for my offer and we negotiated a good price. He walked me through the whole offer, inspection, P&S, punchlist, and mortgage steps and was always available when I had questions. I liked Christian and Caitlin so much that I referred a friend in my office to them and she's now buying her condo through Arborview too! I would not hesitate to recommend Arborview to any of my friends and family.

History
Established in 1980
In 1980, Paul Iantosca started the Arborview Development Corp as a real estate management and development firm. Their sister company, Pleasant Realty Inc was located on the street level with a separate focus on real estate brokerage and rentals. Pleasant Realty grew to be the largest independent real estate firm in the area turning into a mega operation with over 30 brokers by 1988. To scale back into a smaller, more boutique style company, Paul sold Pleasant Realty in 1990 and expanded Arborview Development Corp to include Arborview Realty Inc. He continued in the same location in the heart of JP, combining the three divisions, management, restorations, and brokerage under one umbrella.
Christian joined Arboview Realty in 2000 as the Sales Manager. Due to the outstanding growth of his business, Caitlin teamed up with Christian in 2008 and Nathan Kirby joined the team in 2010. Together, they provide full service buyer and seller representation throughout the Boston area.
Meet the Business Owner: Christian I.
Christian Iantosca has been a full time realtor/broker since 2000. He also is a licensed builder and has renovated and built dozens of homes and condos. He grew up in the Boston area and studied real estate finance and investment at Babson's business school. He has lived in Boston for nine years, now with his wife, two children and black mini schnauzer. In his spare time, he enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking and flying.
Caitlin Unger joined Christian in March 2008 after selling real estate in Northern Virginia for four years. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 2003 and has been a full time Realtor since 2004. She holds the Realtor designation of Accredited Buyer's Representative and loves living in JP with her husband and daughter.
Nathan Kirby joined Arborview in 2010 and has been a licensed real estate agent since graduating from college in 2008. He is a great addition, assisting all aspects of the real estate transactions.
