Great for kids and families for sure. I wouldn't recommend the Arbor Day Farm "cafe" as the food isn't prepared on site - just re-heated. I haven't been to the Lied Lodge, so I can't speak to their food.
Very nice hotel and conference center, great for a nice romantic getaway weekend. Also offers a decent bruch buffet on Sundays and regular breakfast, lunch, and dinner services at other times. It's a pleasant, wooded walk to Arbor Lodge.
