By far my most favorite hike so far in Colorado. It is about 20 miles west of Boulder. Go west out of Rollingsville taking County Road 16. Road ends in a T, go left and go about a mile until you see space for parking. Give yourself 4 hours to complete the hike to Crater Lakes, there are three of them and they are all crystal clear. You can see and hear fish jumping in and out of water. Camping is allowed, which is awesome, just not right next to the lake. Also, in the fall you can see the aspens changing so the colors are amazing!
