Very good Persian food. Surprisingly pretty healthy. The prices are fairly low.
The only thing that I would not recommend is the salad, as rice substitution for the entries.

The food: very good. We tried a typical parsley/lemon/tomato salad as appetizer and the marinated beef filet kebab with saffron rice and broiled tomato. All very fresh. The portions, however are rediculously HUGE -- I would suggest sharing even if they have a split-item fee, unless you really want a plate with 2  cups of rice on it.

The atmoshere: well...there's potential. I love the mirrored wall, retro vibe but the place could use some cleaning up and dim those damn bright lights!

Excellent, food, good service and the best delivery. The food i s always delivered fast, hot and tasty. Their delivery radius is large. The atmosphere and restaurant design needs a lot of work and updating. The food is consistently good. The staff is very accommodating and  friendly and I have never had to send my food back. Big portions and great prices. The best Kashkeh Bademjan (sautéed eggplant mixed with kashk (whey), sauteed garlic, mint and onions.) and Koobideh Kabab (two skewers of seasoned ground beef. served with imported basmati rice topped with saffron and charbroiled tomato.) Parking in back.

I have been coming to this place for over 10 years! I had them cater many of my events... The food is great! Chicken kubideh kabob is fantastic! Recently they have added the all-you-can eat afternoon lunch! Extremely reasonably priced! Salad, rice, grilled and steamed vegetables... and at least two types of meat... Delicious! If you are in the Beverly Hills area and want something quick and tasty during your lunch break - head over there!

This Persian restaurant is in Beverly Hills, but the prices don't reflect the location. For about 20 dollars, my lunch experience was highly gratifying. The place is modestly decorated and good enough to bring a date without being too pretentious. The staff appears friendly and helpful.

I ordered Chicken Koobideh which comes with rice and salad. While I waited for the dish to arrive, I was instantly entertained when they gave me different variations of lavash, butter, radish, and mint leaves. I am falling in love with this place.

My dish arrived in beautiful presentation. The Koobideh was succulent and fragrant in ethnic spices, the basmati rice was delicately laced with saffron, and the salad was augmented with their own house dressing which is described as zesty and creamy with a hint of sweetness to it. The dish is garnished with charbroiled whole tomato, chopped onions and parlsey. I am definitely in love with this place.

Aram, I will see you again. I give it 4.75 stars.

So I've written reviews about other Persian restaurants and while I have to admit Aram is pretty good, I'm pretty hard to please when it comes to Persian food.

I don't know anything about the ambiance, but I do know that they were courteous on the phone and got my order delivered to me in a timely way.  Everything was accurate and so that means a lot.

I ordered the staples, the must-haves if you will, from Aram.  Tadig (crispy rice for the uninducted) with Ghormeh Sabzi and Geymeh Stews, the Beef Koobideh and the Filet as well as some chicken on the bone.  It was all pretty much what I expected.  It didn't knock me off my seat and slap me in the face speaking words in German and making me feel uncomfortable and yet strangely aroused at the same time... no, it was more of a tender kiss on the forehead and a nice chapter from Charlotte's Web.

I recommend them if you're at home and you want some of the heaviest food God created (yes Persian Food is Heavy) and have no immediate plans to run, walk, read, breath deeply, or look at yourself naked in a mirror--actually you should not let anyone else see you naked either until digestion has fully completed its course.

    Kind Regards,
    Reza

Gosh I've been a loyal customer to Aram easily for 20 years now and I always pray that this restaurant never ever goes away. I've been coming here since I was a kid with my family. Even though I am Asian, we've lived in Iran for a few years as a kid so I am very familiar with Persian food and ARAM is by far the BEST PERSIAN FOOD hands down!!
Whenever I come here, I leave overly stuffed and fully satisfied. I love their hummus, thin flat pita, shi-shi kabob, soltani, yogurt, and their RICE IS SO HEAVENLY!!! I dream about it!

Everyone is very friendly. I sometimes pick up a family size catering to take back home. They always make sure the food is pefectly packaged so then we can enjoy the fresh taste back home 30 minutes later. Their lamb, chicken, fish, beef, just try anything. It is so tender, moist, perfectly seasoned and grilled. It melts in your mouth.

If I may say one wish, at least one person in the restaurant should be able to make decent cocktails. I order simple vodka tonic and you can't go wrong with that.

    Kudos! LOVE ARAM!!!

I've been here about a handful of times and I have to say I've been pretty satisfied with the food. The lunch specials are a decent deal, too.

Aram always starts you off with warm lavash, butter, radishes and mint leaves. Sounds like a weirdo combo but it's good! I always save a little to eat with my entree, though. What can I say? I'm Mexican and I try to make a burrito out of everything! I usually have the chicken or filet mignon kebab. It comes with salad, a fire roasted onion and tomato, and really fluffy basmati rice with saffron. The saffron is seriously delicious!!

This place is not quite 5 stars, and almost 4 BUT the service is hit or miss. Other than that....worth checking it out. I hear they have hookah and music in the evenings...that could be fun.

I've been here three times now and should come by more as I live a few short blocks away. The White Fish, Salmon, and trout plates are all yummy. I do not eat meats so I can't comment on any of the meat plates.  Sorry, but my friends have liked the chicken and beef kabob plates. Sometimes the kashkeh bademjan, dolemehs, and panir sabzi are either a hit or a big miss!

The people there are very nice by the way but not always as attentive as I'd like since the prices fall into the fine dining in my opinion. Every time I've been there it's be about $30+ a person, I expect the staff to be on there $%$ on all times, if not why not just stay home.  On a nice note they know I'm learning Farsi so they help me put it to good use, by greeting me and making short convo.  They also get really happy when I tell them, "ehh on khoobeh" I don't over use it though as there are lots of space for improvement.

Why three stars? Every time I've gone there, we are usually the only people in their there, so we feel like our convos can be overheard. What's with the drink menu? Now there are tons of popular Persian drinks... They only sell a bottle of dough... Yuk! A complaint I have is while their nice they watch us very closely almost too much to where it's uncomfortable for my friends, all of my friends I've brought  have bring it up while dining, and it's sucks because I have a hard time getting my friends to even go out to Persian with me in the first place :(   Back to the staring... Who knows what that's about, maybe they think we'll toss the food in our designer bags and flee the scene hehe! But, sadly with a big appetite for Persian food and snacks as me, I'm limited to only a few local choices in BH and this one usually wins by default simply because it's closer to my home.

Please add me if you have any good Persian/Middle eastern yelps.

I was here a couple nights ago.  We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves until a couple with a bratty kid came in.

The food was good.  I had Tahdig, Shirazi, and Beef Barg (my usual at a Persian restaurant).  My friends had the Soltani and some chicken dish that I forgot the name of.  The staff here are friendly and when we asked for a lot of lemons, we got them.  Normally when I ask for lemonS for my dish, I get a weak ass lemon (singular) wedge.  This place hooked it up.  They placed 3-4 lemons sliced in half! (and they were juicy as hell)  I would go back just for that!  The tea is also good.  We had no problem parking as it was after 6pm and most of the businesses on Beverly Drive are closed, but I would be hesitant to go during lunch hours.

I have been to this restaurant before and have also ordered food for delivery. used to be tolerable. Unfortunately I made the mistake of ordering food tonight, and all I got was a horrible tasting Baghali polo, without any baghali that I bet was not even cooked today..and the chicken was just so bla... such a disappointment..

Arams is a jewel of Beverly Hills. I have tried almost all of their menu there...my favorites are their Beef and chicken Kubideh dishes that include seasoned chicken or beef kabobs, the trademark roasted tomato adds that nice zest to your meal and the seasoned Basmati Rice is always cooked to perfection.

Your mouth will water with every bite.

The service, price and quality make this place 5 stars!!!

This place might be one of the finest Persian restaurants in LA.

Get the Tadeeg- Half and Half. Its on point!

I go for the Soltani- Half ground chicken (Chicken koobideh) and The beef Barg. That's the kliller 1-2 punch.

As always, you need to order a coke with Kabob... the way God intended.

The TayeDiggs (tadigh) is legit.  Originally, when I started writing this review over a year ago, this place was going to get four stars from me.  Since then, I've had the pleasure of tasting a few other competitors, to which Aram simply can't compare.  It is, thus, unsurprising to me that this place is eerily empty at pretty much any time of day or night, despite being located smack dab in the middle of Persian town.

My recommendations, instead, are as follows, and in particular order:

    1.  Flame in Westwood (on Westwood, just south of Wilshire)
    2.  Javan (Santa Monica Blvd. and Purdue)
    3)  Pistachio Grill (Charter a time machine and travel back to when this place existed.  Now it's the Ruby Room and I haven't tried it.)

I've been feeling guilty b/c I think I might have accidentally stiffed the super nice, super patient waitstaff at Aram (there was a lot of bill pay confusion).

Anyway, guilt aside, I can't recommend this place highly enough.  My kebab was delicious and CK's eggplant stew was totally drool inducing.  If you flirt a little, they will give you the crispy rice without you asking for it.  And, as a point of comparison, my lunch special kebab was about as much as a falafel sandwich (w/ hummus) at the Israeli place down the street and CHEAPER than a salad from Greenleaf.  For all the wage slaves of Beverly Hills (former WM assistants, you know who you are), this is definitely one of the best affordable lunches (that you need silverware to eat) in town.

When it comes to persian food, it's hard to find any restaurant that compares to home. This place doesn't even have a slot in the race.  The kabob was dry and flavorless, there were no onions on the table, the salad dressing was nasty (sweet flavored), and the ghormeh sabzi was burned and bitter-tasting.  The service was great, and I hear they have good lunch specials.. too bad I won't be coming back to try it.

All kinds of interesting menu choices... my friend had a traditional drink made with yogurt.  We also got some sort of red gravy sauce to mix with our rice which I thought was excellent.

Overall, Aram is a good value and I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Definitely worth the visit. I was staying at The Beverly Hilton and it was just a quick 10 minute walk away. It was also a quick walk to Rodeo Drive.

Waiter was nice, and the food was good. It was authentic, flavorful, and made me feel good! The salad was amazing and I loved the eggplant salad. We got the appetizer that has them all in one, and that was a fantastic way to taste a little bit of everything.

The rice and the pita bread was my favorites because everything else, I have tasted something similar before. The rice was unique and delicious and pita bread NEVER EVER tastes this good! The pita bread was SO tasty, so soft, and tasted like heaven!

I ordered Aram for dinner at my hotel on the advice from a coworker. OMG it was so delicious. I ordered the Aram salad and the Fesenjon, with an Aram Dough to wash it all down.
For the salad: Perfect blend of ingredients, tho the lettuce they chose (iceberg? or maybe it was romaine hearts?) didnt really have any nutritional value (why else am i ordering a salad). I would've prefered a mixture of that with a greener type, so you still get the crunch but also get some nutrition.
Fesenjon - my first time having this, which is Chicken in a Pomegranate/Walnut sauce over rice. The flavor of the sauce was intense but superb. The chicken was moist and tender. The whole dish was divine.

Food wasn't all that but comparing to most Persian restaurants I would give it a 4.25 star. It is a little pricy but I guess they have to make money to cover the Beverly Hills rent somehow. Old and not so clean furniture is a little turn off for BH. If it wasn't for the service and Waiter who was super Nice, friendly and professional I would have given this place a 3 star rating but customer service is important and I got it.

Outstanding Persian with a cook who is a genius with spices. Tadig with 2 or 3 stews is a delicious appetizer, and the beef and lamb are very tender. Unlike some Persian places, the Tadig is properly cooked but not so crispy it breaks one's teeth. Had an anniversary dinner there and would go again--nice environment, tablecloths, seems to be popular with the Beverly Hills Persian crowd. Good service and a pleasant staff.

We also really liked the pita bread. At the end of our meal, we ordered hot tea, and they brought out a pastry that was similar to a baklava... it was DELICIOUS!  We will be going back!

I went here because of the mostly positive reviews on Yelp. Well, it was quite a disappointment. I had Fesenjon with Chicken, the latter's bones being splintered so I had all these tiny razor-sharp fragments in my food, and had to be very careful to filter them out.

I ordered dessert, and they served a different one. I asked, and THEN was told they didn't have the one I originally ordered. I don't know, that's just strange...

Finally, I ordered an Espresso, which took forever, because a large family came in and got all the attention for a while. What I got, eventually, was a regular, watery sip of cheap coffee in an espresso cup. On top of that, the cup was filled to the brim, which an Espresso shouldn't be. So not only do they not serve actual Espresso, they don't even seem to know what it actually is.

I'm not saying your lunch or dining experience here may be as negative as mine -- they may have just had a bad day or couldn't cope with the sudden increase in guests -- but from an established Beverly Hills restaurant I would certainly have expected much more.

Attentive service, good food.  Our server recommended the "tahchin," a special that they apparently only make on Sundays, and in limited quantities.  It was shredded chicken layered between rice that had been mixed with yogurt and saffron (and probably other stuff) and then baked until it had a crisp crust.  Then topped by tiny, slightly sour berries.  Green salad on the side.  I really really enjoyed it but, wow, the portion size.  I'd guess that it was about 7" x 4" - seriously huge and way too much for one person.  Sadly, we had to leave the uneaten portion behind since we were only visiting L.A.  My friend wasn't crazy about his chicken kabob - but he also liked the tahchin.  For the service and the taste of the tahchin, I'd give this place 4 stars but the ridiculous serving size and the only average kabob brought it down to three.  I'd definitely try Aram again, though, if I am ever in that neck of the woods in the future.

I wish yelp would allow half stars as I can't quite go the full 5.  But definitely worthy of 4 1/2.  At first service was slow even though the place was empty, though they do seem to do a pretty hectic delivery business judging by how much activity seemed to be going on behind the scenes.  Our waiter, once he came to the table, was very warm and helpful.  My wife's chicken kebab got raves while my whitefish was quite good as well, and we passed on dessert as the dishes were quite substantial (and our waiter's suggestion to have half salad and half rice rather than a full order of rice turned out to be the perfect idea for us).  The atmosphere is pleasant- well decorated, if a bit too brightly lit.  We were also amused (but not too bothered) by the fact that we only heard two songs, each repeated several times, the entire time we were there.  Somebody needs to teach these guys how to use the shuffle on their CD player!  Other than those minor issues and the lack of parking in the neighborhood (not their fault), everything else was perfect, down to the tasty appetizers and the nice to-go bag they prepared for us with our leftovers.  I will definitely be back, and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for good, moderately priced Persian food.
