So I wanted to propose. And I didn't want to do it at the restaurant, so I needed some sort of surprise accommodation in the Boston area. But all romantic accommodation in Boston was either $500 or booked, which brought me out to this B&B / horse farm right in the middle of Sudbury. I haven't done many B&B's but I have done a few, and this was one of the best. Terribly romantic rooms (albeit completely decorated with horse motifs) in a nineteenth century farmhouse. Staff is friendly and lives in the carriage house. The grounds are nicely landscaped, with a pond, some tree swings, and a little walking path.
She said yes.
