Just had a fantastic consultation with Ara, and (pending wife approval) I think we found our first actual tax person. We used http://hrblock.com for years, but there's just no substitute for personal guidance from a living, breathing human being.
Not only does he clearly know his stuff, he's just pleasant to be around: warm, non-judgemental, and with a good sense of humor about the whole thing. None of that "dreading a visit to the dentist" type situation I hear from a lot of people about their finances.
I'm a big believer in relationship-building as the heartbeat of any business venture, and it's nice to know that, as a CPA, if and when the time comes that I have need of more complex financial advice, I have a number to call and a friendly voice at the other end ready to help.

I needed tax advice regarding purchasing my first home and taking money from my IRA to make the down payment. I found out about Ara on Yelp and I have to say, he lived up to his reputation. Friendly, easy to talk with and very helpful. Will definitely be coming back when it comes time to file!

I have been in business for over 17 years. A couple years back, I encountered problems with the State Board of Equalization. I thought I was doing everything correctly with my prevous bookeeper. When an audit was conducted 2 years ago things were not so good. Ara helped me out tremendously with my audit problems. I reccommend Ara's services and trust his expert advice for all tax needs.

I usually do my own taxes because tax accountants I've worked with the the past seem to be pushing impersonal, "cookie-cutter" service. Mr. Haddadian has made me recognize the value of a good CPA. He took the time to understand my particular situation, had the patience to explain the complexities of tax laws that affect my return, and provided some valuable advice. On top of it all, he has a warm and outgoing personality that can make even a discussion of an arcane topic, such as the tax code, feel like a pleasant chat between friends.
I plan to see Mr. Haddadian for all my tax accounting needs. -

It's definitely not everyday that I take the time to review a business or individual. I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with Ara. I am a studious person and contacted what seemed like every single Accountant in Burbank.
Ara took the time during our free 1-hour consultation to really understand what was needed. His corporate tax experience helped a lot and he took action immediately to make sure we were abiding to the State and Federal deadlines.
Ara understands the value of a long-standing relationship with his clients and began to spell out a long-term strategy that could greatly benefit us into the very distant future.
Ara was easy to understand, articulate, and educated. He was friendly and patient and wasn't "all about the business" as you may say, which is refreshing when sitting down dealing with you money for a couple hours at a time.
His rates are $125/hour and well worth it. I would highly recommend Ara and will be doing so to any friends/family in need of a tax consultant.
This is your money and your future, put it in the hands of someone like Ara, not some "turn-key" operation like H&R Block. Ara will be a great accountant for your Corporation... promise! -

Ara is first CPA I ever worked with on my taxes and I think I got lucky. He is a great listener and is very attentive to your situation and needs, and interacting with him feels like you are dealing with a close friend.
He breaks down and explains financial things so clearly that even the average person can understand and make decisions based on that understanding.
Ara's personality and service is outstanding. In these areas, you don't feel like to you are dealing with a seller, but someone who is on the same boat as you and is looking out for your best interests. He goes out of his way to make sure you have all associated affairs in order.

I would strongly recommend Ara as a great CPA.
I found Ara's listing on Yelp along with others while looking for someone to handle my tax filing this year. Not only is he exceptionally responsive, he is also extremely professional and easy to work with. I had a complicated tax situation being newly divorced and Ara helped me understand my tax scenario and help me determine the best way forward. I would highly recommend Ara as an accountant. I had a huge screw up with the IRS trying to file online, and was almost a year late filing taxes for the first time ever in 2008. I happened to meet Ara while struggling to fix my mess up, and he asked me if I needed help or had a question....later that day I was at his office filing my taxes succesfully! I have no desire in knowing anything about taxes, and Ara makes it very easy for me...he does everything but sign the form! I have filed my taxes with Ara for 08 to 10 and am completely satisfied. He is very affordable, and has a great vibe. I am very happy I found an accountant and dont plan on changing ever!!!

This was my first time using an accountant, as I had just bought a house and my taxes were much more complicated than before. Ara was helpful, friendly, very responsive, and completed my return promptly. He made sure I was able to maximize my return. I will definitely use him again, and strongly recommend him.
