Good spot for a quick eat. Have had breakfast here twice over the last couple months. Had omelette's both times. Pretty good, but the cook didn't get my order right exactly, so it's still so-so in my book.
If you go, sit upstairs. Full bar with a view of Easton's Beach. Downstairs can become a bit crowded, but plenty of room on top. -

ordered the Aquidneck chicken pasta and it was by far the worst thing I've ever eaten in my life. I can't believe a restaurant would serve this thing! The chicken was dry old dehydrated weirdness that was possibly fried, couldn't tell but it was hard and chewy. looked like the chicken treats I give my dog. Then to top it off the pasta was in pasta water with a hint of olive oil. Would recommend choosing another restaurant as there are plenty of better places to try.

Stopped in this restaurant on a cold, windy, rainy Friday night recently and was welcomed by the shelter of this well-lit, clean, and modernly decorated business. Immediately upon entering, our party was directed to sit where we'd like. Place was deserted except for a few regulars sitting at the bar watching the flat screen television mounted on the wall. A sign read 'Upstairs seating closed' so I'd have to assume there is a 2nd floor to this place when its jammin'.
Our server seemed to be running the whole place this night. . . serving drinks at the bar, taking our orders, preparing things in the kitchen. He was quick, efficient, and got our food out to the table with little wait. He was non-obtrusive and seemed to stop by whenever we needed something.
Though I was tempted to order from their all-day breakfast menu I ended up ordering a large White Pizza. Best decision I'd made all week. The dough was fresh and soft, the mixtures of cheeses combining to cause an explosion of happiness in my mouth. I'm no pizza expert but this is some of the best I've tasted in a while. Mozzarella sticks had an outer covering crunchier than I'm used to but still hit the spot. All for around $20. . . not bad for a Friday night out.
Took our party a while to leave. . . convincing ourselves to step out of the delicious smelling atmosphere, back into the battering of cold winds off the ocean, waves crashing within view from the front door of this establishment. I expect I will return after a long sun-soaked day at Easton's Beach, rather than one spent dodging raindrops and hurricane gusts. -

With a grain of salt - I am reviewing the breakfast food at a pizza joint.
Nothing special, but what would you expect? It was overall clean, but a little chilly (lacked that cozy warmth that you'd want on a winter morning). Service was acceptable but not beyond.
I'm not totally discouraged, I'll amend once I stop in for a pizza. -

It didn't occur to me that this was a restaurant the first few times I went past to Flo's or the beach. The sign screams "pool and patio supply." You really need to read the message board below to see that it says "pizza and breakfast" or something. My wife and I popped in for breakfast one morning. Upsides: friendly and fast service, huge coffee mugs, decent food. Downside: food wasn't as good as Tickets (which is just across the street) and was slightly more expensive than Tickets. The atmosphere was a little weird but I guess it's primarily a pizza place.

Get the pizza and nothing else here as far as dinner goes....REPEAT....get the pizza and nothing else here. They advertise breakfast all day, I have no idea if it's any good, I would look at other reviews for that. This place gets a solid 3 stars for pizza, getting dinged one for everything else.
Service is mediocre at best and they hit on a pet peeve of mine. The under 64 oz beer pitcher. If you advertise your beer pitcher specials, they should be 64 oz, not the mini pitcher. Come on now Aquidneck...you can do better. -

I didn't get pizza, which I think I'm glad about after reading the previous review. (I'm Neopolitan and/or NY style faithful) But, my eggplant parm sandwich was good. It was big and the bread was nice and toasty.
Also, our waitress was awesome...we were only in town in the weekend, and our waitress gave us a bunch of ideas on stuff to do and check out. So an extra star for her :-) -

I ate lunch there with some friends the other day and enjoyed the BBQ Chicken Pizza. I was excited to learn that they delivered, so I tried their pepperoni pizza and a buffalo chicken calzone. Apart from Frank's Buffalo Wing Sauce in my calzone, both were very bland. Probably won't eat there again.

I grew up in Newport and sadly the most prevalent style of pizza is "Greek Pizza": extra fat crust, puffy wet, pizza. I don't like this kind of pizza, for American pizza I'm solidly in the NY thin crust-Chicago-California coalition. My favorite pizza is Neapolitan style preferably eaten while actually in Napoli. AQ Pizza is Greek pizza, albeit a better version. We also have tried their other "Italian" offerings and these are the Greek version of Italian. Marinara sauce with lots of oregano and not much taste. Meatballs that remind one of souvlaki. All this would be fine if they had some Greek offerings other than the moniker salad. Most Greek Pizza places in Boston/MA are salvaged by having good Greek food as well as neo-Italian food. Throw a spinach pie on the menu! There was one server and she did a great job on what turned out to be a busy Sunday night. She poured a glass of Chianti, actually checked it before serving it. It was off and she opened a new bottle. She was juggling 4 tables the bar and taking the phone orders, all this while she was sorting out some lost German bicyclist. One of the stars is for her.
* Great location kitty-corner to Easton's Beach
* Full bar and they have some wines Tyler B(*) would approve, 3 solid Greek whites.
* Best item on the menu: Curly Fries.
* Nice decor
* They do breakfast
