My friends got married here in 2004 and it seriously was one of the nicest places I have been to for a reception.
Great service, so organized, polite and made the event extra special.
The interior and exterior of this place is just beautiful. Walking around the grounds outside was quite a treat.
The huge bar (Which was an open bar so it was extra nice) had a great bartender and was a great place for people to socialize during the party.
Huge dance floor and plenty of room for big events.
Aqua Turf is probably best know for wedding receptions but my experiences include 2 New Year's celebrations.
The Aqua Turf hosts a formal New Year's celebration every year. The last time I went tickets were $195 per couple. Included in the price is an hour of appetizers, a multi-course dinner, open bar, and a dessert course.
Each room has different entertainment, I have always been in the smaller room, (glass room) with the DJ, and in the larger ball room is a live band, and the wagon room also has a band.
Dinner begins with a choreographed routine by the wait staff swooping in with lights and fanfare. Following dinner is hours of dancing until 2am. Aqua Turf supplies all your New Year's hats, crowns and noise makers.
Tickets sell out quickly and we usually have our plans made by early Oct. We stay at nearby hotel and arrange for the hotel's shuttle to drop us off and pick us up. This has to be reserved and is not included nor affiliated with the Aqua Turf.
Both year's I had a blast and the food is excellent. Its worth doing at least once with a large group of friends.
Beautiful setting for a wedding. Good room layout, and great bar area. I don't remember much else about the place since we got to the wedding with a buzz. But I know that everyone at the wedding had a blast and that is in part hugely due to this place providing the perfect backdrop for our friends to celebrate their life together.
