This is one of the new "green" dry cleaning places that have begun springing up. Instead of yucky dry cleaning chemicals, the cleaning is done with natural liquid CO2. Clothes smell fresh, colors stay brighter, clothes last longer. They get out spots and clothes come back looking GREAT!! It is more expensive than traditional/chemical dry cleaning but well worth the money, in my opinion, because there is no chemical residue or smell. These folks do a fabulous job and knew my husband and I by name after just a few visits - a nice personal touch. Have had them do silk, scarves, wool jackets, dressy pants etc. and have been happy with all.
I am a dry cleaning addict. I have tried every place a friend recommends and have never been this happy with a dry cleaner. So happy, I signed up for yelp to write a review.
So, contrary to the first review, their prices are not more than other places which is the most surprising thing about them. In fact, I find them to be on the inexpensive side. Trust me, I've been around the dry cleaning block.
They are "green" in the sense that they don't use chemicals and such. Their machines are Co2 or something and your clothes- when they come out- instead of being hot....are cold (but dry of course). The first time I went there Katty (pronounced Cat-Ty) gave me a tour.
GET THIS- their machines don't produce any lint!!! That means your clothes are always going to look good and not lose color. When you spend a lot of money on your clothes- it is important that they last.
Now, on top of them being socially conscious....I have a story to tell you. I had just bought this really expensive dress, wore it once, and spilled RED WINE on it. I was flipping out. I tried everything and couldn't get the HUGE @$$ stain out. At my first visit to Aqua, Katty told me a story about a guy that put his shirt in and his kid accidentally put a crayon in the pocket, not knowing, shirt went into dryer with a crayon in there. She told me she got the whole melted wax thing out of the shirt. It dawned on me that the dress I had ruined MONTHS ago and had "written off" could possibly be saved. I brought it back the same day...
Needless to say, you know the outcome (or why would I be writing this review?) they got it out. If my dress wasn't last season I would have asked if they bought a replacement.
Okay- I have written my first review....and if there was an option to give more stars....I would.
