Ah, Crapplebee's. Man, it feels like I haven't stepped inside a Crapplebee's in like forever! Y'know, it's coming back to me. Unemployment, no mistakin' it! Regardless, I've found that their Late Night 1/2 price appetizers are more often effective than your typical OTC (over the counter) laxatives. Note: Females are more often affected than males.

Despite all this, I'm a sucker for Boneless Classics perfectly accompanied with blue cheese. Ask Nostradamus. He couldn't agree with me more. "According to the prediction, another falls at night time." Alright, I admit, perhaps I went a little overboard with the reality of asking a dead guy? Fear not! 1,720 calories is enough to reunite the living with the dead, right? Oh, yes!

So, yeah, Crapple's may not hold a Michelin rating of 3 stars, but it sure as hell gets a 3 star from me. This is one of few places my friends and I enjoy visiting. And yes, I too have friends. Cobra Commander, Megatron, Darth Vader and Vegeta may not say much, but what do you expect from action figures! Overall, It's all about Happy Hour!

I have partaken of the salads and various entrees, as well as the appetizers. I have not been disappointed. I like the sirloin steaks and find them moist and delectable. This is a good place to sit and have a meal. Portions are adjustable based on need and always filling. The price is moderate and the service tops!.

I don't really care for the food or ambience at Applebees to begin with, it's just OK. I would never choose to come here myself but my family likes it so what can you do? The service we had at this location was interesting to say the least. The food was fine. The whole experience was just unremarkable, save for the socially awkward server.

I love their 1/2 price appetizers... and their fast and efficient staff... but that's it... The food that I've experienced here is a big MEH!! I usually come here after the local Wenatchee Wild games, or if my in-laws are dining out...

I'm not giving up tho, maybe I'm just ordering the wrong stuff... but next time I'm going to order the steak and a stiff drink to see if that is why they are so popular and busy all the time!

First time EVER in an Applebee's...

The staff here is barely 21yrs old: their cluelessness is masked by their (fake) overly friendly ways...

Food: pre-engineered, predictable, standardized fare, with factory-prepped, pre-packaged, pre-portioned and Corporate Chef-Designed culinary adventures, slathered with grease and unhealthy combinations... NO SALT was used on ANY dishes, which is probably a corporate edict, as the sodium content is probably already HUGE in this kind of cuisine...

    Atmosphere: predictable...

Beverages: Margarita ($1 extra gets you a double shot) was served in a Martini glass with salt rim, a lime wedge and an OLIVE?... as I said, clueless youth running a corporate store...

I'm giving them a third star for leaving me (at least) satisfied with a nice portion size of (breaded, deep fried) shrimp... Lemon wedges should be standard, but had to beg for some...

The artichoke dip appears huge, by the way, but the container is SO shallow, its contents are scooped up with those supergreasy, unsalted tortilla chips in one-two-three scoops... Disappointing...

Final verdict: if all other local fare places are closed on a Sunday in this overly religious area of the country, and the only choice is a corporate-run nationwide chain above the McD standard, then Applebee's will do... But don't expect culinary fireworks... ;)

I don't get to Applebees very often, as they don't seem to have them where I live, and the one they did have was so bloody expensive that it eventually went out of business.

But the one here in Wenatchee is a very different story; the prices are not out of line. We enjoyed a tasty meal and the waiter service was prompt.

The only thing that takes it down a peg or two for me are the TVs jammed into all the corners, which for someone with a short attention span (yours truly) can be quite distracting, lol!

But all in all, I've been to this Applebees a few times over the years, and have enjoyed the good food and friendly service each time. Did I mention the free beer? No? Oh - I guess they didn't have any - too bad!

I plan to return to Applebees from time to time when I'm visiting friends/family in Wenatchee. Good food, good service, and good value. I just wish they were this good in Canada, eh!

Four stars all the way, baby!

Staff are friendly and service is responsive. Food is ok. I ordered Grilled Dijon Chicken with Portobello Mushroom. It was tasty but not as bad or greasy as what the previous reviewers said.

I also ordered the Sizzling Apple Pie and it was what I expected.

They tend to overcook fish. Other than that, they are a reliable place to eat with friends, or when you are on the road. Good value

If you're a Wenatchee High School grad, this is THE unofficial re-union spot for the first 3 or 4 years after graduation. I came here on Christmas break from college once and saw 25 of my fellow WHS 2000 classmates. No lie.

The food is nothing special. However, the ridiculously cheap happy hour food bargains and well drinks make Applebees worthwhile to keep returning to - even if there are multiple 1991 Accords on Les Schwab 19 inch rims (financed through installment payments) lined up outside.

Good Happy Hour deals, but never a good choice for dinner because the food is overpriced, unhealthy (usually), and nothing special. Basically, it's an Applebees. The selection for vegetarians is especially deplorable. Prepare to pay $12 for a plate of grilled vegetables (it's a big plate, but still ridiculous).

Wenatchee has some fine independent restaurants where you'll get more bang for your buck-- give them a try!

What can you say?  This chain is homogenized food engineered to look good, but leaves you unfulfilled.

Applebee's has a weird interior decorating style, somehow cluttered and out-of-date even right after it has been remodeled.

Service is ok, depending on where you go.  Lots of college students trying to put themselves through school.

The food however is pretty bad.  Someone somewhere cooked it to look really nice and they took great exciting pictures of it for their menus.  What you get doesn't live up to the hype though.

I got a dissapointingly small steak with some cold-ish mashed potatoes and a pile of vegetables that had just been reheated in the microwave.  All kind of dropped onto the plate and pretty tasteless.
