Apodaca Park is located at Solano and Madrid in Las Cruces. You'll know you're there when you see a sculpture called "Dineh" (native for "human beings") facing the entrance of the park. This sculpture is so intriguing that I was taken aback the first time I saw it.
On a nice weekend, you'll find this park packed with BBQ's and celebrations. It's also great to go during the weekdays during lunch or when you have time to take the kids to the playground. Apodaca Park is complete with tennis courts and a swimming pool also.
A great recreational place to spend leisure time...
