I adore this park. With 2 miles of paved pathway tracing its way around a 50 acre lake, Apex Community Park is the perfect spot for a quick run, or a long trot with the doggies. The parking lot is usually not crowded, except on weekends and there is plenty of room on the paths. The trees along the path yield sweet welcome shade during the dog days o' summer.
The opposing side of the park has about a thousand ball fields, and I like that that area is entirely separate from the path and lake.
