i usually get the lunch special for $5.75. chicken pad thai. it comes with steamed rice, salad(not a big fan), fried wontons(depends on the day/last time the wontons were stale).
new owners and new decor inside.
whenever i have a fix or a need of cheap thai food, i hit up anza inn for there lunch special. decent place.
This was a good Thai food experience. It is a little hole in the wall sort of place. So order it to go or delivery. They are super nice people and the food is very good with large portions. They forgot our drink and came all the way back just to bring the drink and they did so kindly. I would recommend them and will eat their food again.
At first you get scared cuz its in the 99 cents store plaza and there is a store next door with random clothing for sale. But wow, this place has the best mint chicken I have had. AND its cheap! and I can call it in while I'm driving down Hawthorne from Del Amo Mall and and its ready by the time I get there. I love this no BS style of Thai food. GO!

If you're looking for great ambiance, service and outrageous prices, keep on walking.
If you're looking for a good Thai take out place with rock bottom prices; or you're looking for some food to soak up all the booze you drank at the Anza Inn then this place is for you!
Ambiance: None. Seating is three tables with two chairs each. You walk in and are staring at the cook and cashier; who are on some occasions the same person.
Service: Always with a smile. Expect styro containers and plastic utensils. Don't expect the sommelier to stop by with some wine recommendations.
Food: Not bad. Great if you consider you can leave with Pad Thai or Pad See Eew for under seven bucks. The dumplings aren't too bad either.
Food here is good and affordable. Small place with no lines, better for takeout than dine in cause there isn't really much place to sit. Great local gem.

Holy flaming anus!
This thai food is really pretty damn decent. But lets get a few things out of the way first. Yes, it is right next to a 99cents store and all the degenerate freaks who shop there, and yes, it is cramped as hell and the kitchen looks a little dingy. But the curry they make there is to die for and I think that totally overrides all it's faults.

The Anza Inn Kitchen has some of the best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand. There's only two dingy tables in this family-run hole in the wall, so I highly recommend take out.
You get a huge amount of food for your money. Everything I've had is good, and they're very consistent with the amount of spice they put in the dish based on whether you ask for mild, medium, or hot.
I used to live within walking distance of this place, and it's one of the things I miss most about the area.

Not a great date place and the food is just alright.
I got their pad thai EXTRA SPICY and they did a decent job catering to my spicy standards. HOWEVER, the noodles, meat, and egg in the dish had a strange tinge of red that really turned me off. Not like chili sauce red but food dye red. It bothered me probably more than it should have because presentation is pretty important to me when it comes to good food. I eat with my eyes before I eat with my tongue. Other than that, the food tasted pretty good but definitely not one of the best I've had. Prices are the cheapest for Thai food I've seen in the area ($5.95 for pad thai) and they offer a variety of other non-Thai dishes like fried chicken and burgers.

this place is so cute! it is literally a hole in the wall. you will know what i mean when you go there. but dont let the looks of this place fool you because the food is great! it might take a little time to get because there are only a few workers there at a time but its literally so good you wont care. try it!!
Previous reviewers failed to mention that this place is right next to a sports bar and that's pretty much where you'll be having your meal; in a sports bar... or in your car. Where's the actual restaurant?
The Kitchen is an actual kitchen and does not exist "in name only". Needles to say I turned right around and went to a real restaurant.
I went here last night and ordered the yellow curry and pad thai. The price is very reasonable for the amount of food they give you. I thought the food was good home cooking. We chose to eat in at 1 of the two tables. Apparently the flies buzzing around the food thought it was tasty too. Get the food to go.
Great curry, avoid the noodle dishes. Bland pad kee mow and strangely fluorescent pad thai.
The staff (and I think owners) are quite nice. I like how they're chilling in the back and watching Thai tv.
They're open until 10 and are really fast at getting your order together. I also like their Thai iced tea, quite sweet but you can still taste the tea whereas other places I feel like I'm drinking pure sugar.
