This gym is fantastic! Every time I come here I can't help but feel the stress melt away.
The staff are all really nice and laid back. It's never too crowded....even around rush hour. I just can't say enough nice things about it. This is the perfect smaller sized gym. -

This place is a god send! I just moved here from Hawaii and have lots of weight to lose (30 pounds to be exact!) I've been an athlete my whole life (soccer, track, triathlons, etc.) but fell out of shape like we do when life takes hold! I was very self conscious but no one at the gym is there to show off, everyone is very kind and keeps to themselves.
you wouldn't know by walking by, but the place is extremely reasonably priced, always clean AND zero wait for equipment! And if you're interested, they have a tanning room and personal bathrooms.
I almost didn't want to post anything because it's such a good find that I don't want anyone else to know! But the staff are so awesome and helpful that they need the props for how they've built this little oasis for everyone that wants to workout no matter their athlectic level!
It's also important to know this is locally owned and operated! -

No headaches...this is the gym where its easy to go, which is half the battle sometimes. They have everything you need to get a great workout, you dont have to wait for ANYTHING, its clean, they have a kickass bootcamp. As a former fatty (370 lbs) this is a great place to loose weight. And as a former member of Golds, and 24 hour fitness, this places shatters the mold of a health club, and gets it right...go here, and stop being so terrible

Love this gym!! I was a member @ Gold's for a long time, but got burned out on the socializing and always waiting for a machine or bench to use. Gold's boasts about being near the water and having a great view and fresh air vs. cycled A/C, but they fail to mention there's no air circulating so they bring out a high-powered fan that sits in the middle of the gym and does nothing but move the stale, hot air around. Awful!
When I was looking for a gym to join, I thought I wanted the steam shower, sauna, pool, classes, blah blah blah. But when it comes right down to it, working out is up to the individual and their desire to do better for themselves, not the gym's responsibility. I actually look forward to hitting the gym and never have a problem with overcrowding, space issues or getting on a cardio machine. I like the simplicity of it and knowing if I don't make it after work, I can still go later in the evening or as early in the morning as I want. They've thought of everything when it comes to security. All the basic machines and equipment are in place and allows for creativity with your workout.
And I challenge anyone in the So Bay to find a more kick a** class than Crystal's Tues & Thurs Bootcamp. She really gets us working up a sweat and keeps it interesting. A big A+ that there is no microphone, mirrors or yelling and thumping music during the class, too. Who wants all that after working all day anyway?? UGH!! -

Anytime Fitness makes working out a piece of cake! Let me just say upfront that I am not the athletic type and I have been in and out of gyms for years now. This gym feels so comfortable; it's clean, the employees are friendly and helpful, and the equipment is amazing. All machines are very smooth, easy to use, equipped with big touch screens to watch TV, and availability to plug in your own music devices. The individual bathrooms with a shower are also so nice and clean. I am very impressed and have no plans to give up or go anywhere else!

The gym is clean and very nice, but it's missing some basic equipment that I need to get my swoll on. I need my StairMaster!!! Where was it? And the cardio machines were a little off as well. I just felt like I couldn't get the proper workout in that I wanted.

The South Bay has been long overdue for a 24 hr access, super clean gym that has exactly what you need. The place is awesome. Great location. Great parking. Perfect setup for the individual who just wants to get in there and get to work! Owners are super cool, neighborhood people who have put together a thoughtfully planned environment--so awesome for the self-starter! Plus, they have the cool, new cardio machines that synch with the Nike+iPod system! My new favorite neighborhood gym, for sure!

Simply outstanding in so many different aspects. The owners/staff are welcoming and gracious. Atmosphere is sparkling clean with all new state of the art Star Trac equipment. Innovative programs on several of the cardio machines where you can plug in your earphones and follow a video of a trainer leading you through a work out. Each machine also has an individual TV screen. Completely novel idea of a 24 hour concept with a pass key for workouts whenever you want. There are even showers stocked with shampoo, etc if you want to change when finished.
Anytime Fitness has just created an all around excellent gym.
