Best Italian restaurant I've ever been to, hands down! There's nothing bad on the menu, you really can't go wrong but the lasagna was phenomenal. Blew lasagna at other Italian restaurants out of the water!
Also the dipping they bring out with the bread is delicious and the atmosphere is delightful! I highly recommend this place. -

I went to Antonio's to have lunch with a friend and her husband. We arrived first and were seated at a booth. While walking in I noticed a large lettuce leaf on the floor. No one ever picked it up. our waitress walked over the lettuce leaf multiple times and never got a bus boy to clean it up nor did she bend down to get it. As we sat down we were given some bread and olive oil to enjoy. The olive Oil mix had way too much cheese and red pepper flakes in the oil to really enjoy the flavor of the olive oil. it was sad that this occurred but what was even more sad is that the plates we were given were chipped. I could overlook the chipped plates but when i opened my silverware my fork had dried food bits on it. So I asked for another set and with no apologies I got fresh silverware.
Throughout the evening we had minor issues with the food. Mostly it was because of the amount of red pepper flakes in the food. For example, we had ordered Fried Calamari as an appetizer, Shrimp & Scallop Grand Marnier and Chilean Sea Bass Moldano, The Fried Calamari and the Chilean Sea bass like the olive oil, had too much red pepper flakes. I myself do not eat a lot of spicy food but my boyfriend who lives on kemchie even commented on the crazy amount of pepper flakes.
All in all, the only thing I really enjoyed about the meal was the calamari. My dinner was okay but again they went overboard with the garnishments in the dish. The dish just had way too many sun dried tomatoes in it. They were hard and hard to chew. I will agree with other reviewers that yes they do give out large portions but if it's not cooked well or seasoned well, then what's the point. I took my leftovers home and ended up throwing it away after I picked through the shrimp and scallops. I don't believe I would ever go back to this establishment. Save your money and eat at another establishment. -

I tried the Caprese Salad. It was terrible. Do not get it, no matter how good it sounds at the time, you will be disappointed.
I still need to take a minute to overcome how terrible that salad was before I compliment the place...
The bread was awesome, and it better be, else I will leave an Italian Restaurant unhappy.
I was with a large group and we had the private room in the back. Just about everyone else in the group enjoyed their food, I was the lone dissenter.
That being said, all the good reviews on here convinced me that I will have to give it another shot and order some real Italian food next time I come. -

My first time here and the food is awesome. Waitress was very friendly, quick and on the ball with getting the food out. I will definitely be back he again to eat. LOVE IT!

It's OK. It's not terrible. I have had better, but I think the thing that saves this place is the portions and family style seating. Both go hand in hand. It's basically like a less done-up Buca di Beppo in Brandon. Huge portions because they expect you to share. Try the dishes with the sun-dried tomatoes. Delicious.
But, basically, if your family is in town and they don't mind Italian or sharing, then give this place a try. -

Phenomenal dinners here. I'm a huge fan of Italian food, and this place is only 5 minutes from where I live, so I was excited to try. Like another reviewer stated, it's not much on the outside. But once you're inside, it's a really nice atmosphere.
Service here is fantastic. Servers are very friendly, quick, and attentive. Fun to talk to and really know a lot about the restaurant and the food.
Now on to the food. Oh my goodness, the food. You get bread and an oil/parmesan/herb dip that is amazing, for free when you sit down. Entrees definitely give you enough food to justify the semi-expensive prices (typically $11-17 for a dinner). The first time I was here I had the chicken Parmesan. Pasta was ok, nothing special, but the chicken and sauce was fantastic. Very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The second time I was there I had a gourmet pizza; one of the best pizzas I've had in quite a while, and very reasonably priced (less than $10). I took half of it home and will make the office jealous of me when I bring it for lunch tomorrow.
Overall, just go. Great food, great staff, and great location. If you love Italian, you'll love Antonio's. -

You remember the beginning of the Flintstones when the waitress put the gigantic side of ribs on the car? That how the portions are at this place.
Sitting just across the street from Carrabbas, it occurs to me if most of the people there knew about Antonio's they would burn Carrabbas to the ground in protest.
The portion size is nothing short of tremendous with flavor to match. Everything was delicious, lasagna stacked high & the bread fresh baked. I've been told the pizza there is fantastic & plan on investigating that claim the next time I go.
I ate there 2 days ago & am still full. -

I made a mistake... I went out on New Year's Eve for dinner without reservations...plus, I was with a party of five...an unwieldy number as most of you know. We got to Antonio's and there were people waiting out front. I was nervous. We got to the front of the line and the manager told us it would be about a 35-45 minute wait. We were nervous but decided to hang out. What a relief to hear about ten minutes later the manager called out our name.
The staff couldn't have been nicer and you would have thought the place was empty with the amount of attention we received.
I ordered the Penne with Bolognese, the gravy has a sweet taste to it and was filled with meat, mushrooms and onions. Most places give you barely enough "sauce" to cover the pasta, but here there was ample enough to dip your warm bread into at the end!
The other meals at the table included the Stuffed Shells, Chicken Parm and Chilean Sea Bass Moldano. There was not a bad plate on the table and we all left "fat and happy!"
Don't pass by this unassuming, strip mall restaurant. Let the great staff and delicious food be your guide... -

Huge portions the food was very good and I would come back. The magherita pizza can use improvement but the service and the pasta was very good.

The dishes here are really good, the portions are amazing! Between the salad and bread, by the time dinner arrives you can just take it home. Service is also great, very friendly atmosphere. Overall much much better than any national Italian chain. I totally recommend Antonio's.

This restaurant offers excellent Italian foods in large portions. I highly recommend the lasagna here--it's not an exaggeration to say it's the best lasagna I've ever had. At only $15 for dinner, it's quite a steal. The interior of the restaurant isn't anything noteworthy; for this reason, I can't give it a five star rating.
This is also a nice little place for a reasonably-priced lunch. You can do lunch for two for about $30-35 here. The food is light years beyond Olive Garden. -

Came here for lunch from Busch Gardens because of Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed at all. The lasagna was just right. Not heavy but very flavorful. Service was quick, friendly and professional. The decor is clear, spacious and comfortable. Anyone in this neighborhood should try it out.

You want great Italian food with wheel barrel portions, this is the place. Service is great. The owner is often on premises and is top notch. Try the Tortellini, it is out of this world.
I have to tell you. I bought a fillet here. I was rather worried cause the sticker price was close to $30.00 bucks, but it was the best steak I have had in many years, better than Burns. I know you wouldn't think steak here, but give it a try. Make sure they give you extra cheesy potatoes, hmmmmm!!! -

Really people get your Italian on!
The staff at this restaurant were excellent! Nice friendly service, not overbearing but certainly attentive.
The food was well... big. The first time I go to a red and white check table cloth kind of Italian I always order the same thing, it's my little test. Some thing I don't like to make at home, too messy, I get Chicken Parmesan, it always comes with pasta and usually a salad. And I've had some amazing preparations.
And so this meal began, the salad was crisp and fresh tasting and of course quite big. The bread was tasty, nice texture but undercooked. They served penne with the meal and it was big and strange. The texture was just wrong, it had the same consistency as a Weight Watchers frozen meal...hmmm. The sauce reminded me of an Irish friend of mine. She was a lovely woman but she made her sauce out of tomato paste and water, she thought the cheese dumped on top cured all! No it doesn't! The chicken was ok, it was big, not special, just big, I ate the left over chicken for breakfast!
I should say that I did share a mussel appetizer with my co-diner and they were good just not special, not great not 4 and 5 stars.
Over and out of there. -

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! I loved the ambiance of this place. I have to be honest.... From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but when you walk in, it is a nice, cozy Italian restaurant. This place came recommended from a friend and I can see why now!

The best Italian I have had . I took my girl with me and I have to say looking from the outside it's not to appealing . Once u enter it's like a transformation into a 4 star looking Italian resturant . They serve u huge portions and we really felt like we got are moneys worth . We got the 2 for $20 deal which is way better than the applebees down the streets deal . For 20 bucks you and your date get one app, 2 entrees and a dessert to share . And also 2 salads . I live real close to this place but I'm certain if I lived a hour away I would still make the trip to go .
