The quad cities little Italy (very little Italy). Frank was crooning at a an appropriate level as I came in the door and after all, who doesn't like Frank? I had the veal Parmesan which was pretty good. The veal was tasty and very tender. The marinara sauce was an interesting blend of sweet and tangy. would have given 3 stars but the taramisu alone was worth an extra star may have been the best i've ever had. It alone is worth the trip here.

Tried this place while visiting my family in January. We had a Groupon and the reviews seemed all right--"authentic Italian!" "Great pizza!" Okay! We ordered a margherita pizza, which is my gold standard test case for good, Italian pizza. What I expect when I see "margherita" on the menu: fresh tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, and a thin, crispy-chewy crust. What we got: an under-baked frisbee smothered in flavorless shredded cheese, topped with mealy diced tomatoes and dried basil flakes. I have had frozen pizzas that were better. The crust was easily the worst part. It was pale and floury and seemed to have been baked in a 300 degree oven--I could easily imagine it coming out of a Bisquick box, as the reviewer below mentioned. Digiorno is better. Dominos is better. Cafeteria pizza is better. Pizza rolls are better. Honestly, you'd have to go out of your way to make or find a pizza that is worse than this one was.
Over my protests, we asked for a box for our leftovers (and got one of those styrofoam takeout trays instead of a small pizza box...). We ended up leaving the box on a planter next to the library, where my mom thought, "Maybe a homeless person will find it." I hope not. The homeless deserve better. -

We've tried it twice. We probably won't go back. The pasta is nothing special and the pizza is just tough and hard.

Please understand that after attempting to give this restaurant a shot after eating there 3 times- I am convinced that the incompetency of their customer service has overcame any quality of food that can be served.
I will say that the meatball sandwich was phenomenal the first time I ate there, but the complete lack of customer service doesn't suffice the quality of the sandwich.
I cannot stress enough that the service is beyond bad, it's a joke.
The latest time I ate there, I had a so-called "supreme pizza"- the pizza was completely missing the pepperoni, there was very little meat and ham, there was hardly any cheese and the vegetables weren't very flavourful at all.
At the end- the waitress wrote off the soda and still gave us a check for a full-price pizza.
Despite the other reviews you might read
about the quality of food, I would recommend skipping this so-called little gem in downtown Davenport based the complete lack of customer service and even worse, the complete lack of consistency of quality. -

The best authentic pizza in the Quad Cities! Better than the pizza some people try and pass off. Excellent prices and wonderful service. I highly recommend Antonella's for lunch!

Excellent food. Eggplant Parm was out of this world. Portions are grand. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is that the prices were a bit high for Davenport - they were high for a Chicago restaurant - and the decorating was a bit dated, although quaint. But for good, real Italian homemade food and plenty of it, this is a great quad cities restaurant. I would definitely go there again.
