Hubby set up a romantic surprise dinner for me for our anniversary, and it was wonderful. The service was attentive and informative - the waitress helped me choose dessert, (tiramisu, yum) and I'll likely go back for the pumpkin pound cake.

I had lobster bisque, and hubby had sesame scallops over seaweed app - both were so delicious, we switched plates half way. For our entrees, he had chicken gorgonzola - perfect in a pink cream sauce. And I had day scallops over mushroom risotto - perfect texture, and the scallops were seared just right.

The owner was on-site, and made rounds at the tables, checking with each guest to be sure they were satisfied - nice to see that in a business, as so many are not owner-operated anymore.

The fine food, and gorgeous setting are perfect for a special occasion, or just for a lovely romantic night out for no reason. Winding through the quaint bay side road, you feel like you've arrived at a hidden gem of a place.

We'll be back for sure - I really want to try that pound cake!

My wife and I ate here some time ago, and we were very disappointed.  My wife ordered the Filet Mignon, and I ordered the Seafood Trio.

My Seafood dish was a very small piece of local fish less than 6 ounces, two pieces of shrimp, and two pieces scallops.  This dish was way over priced, a little under $30.  My wifes Filet Mignon was burn on the outside and raw on the inside.  She asked for medium rare.

The restaurants staff was friendly, and attentive.  The restaurant has magnificent views of the bay with views of LBI in the background.

AMAZING FOOD & VIEW, OK service...

Visited this place for the first time last week and I was pretty impressed. You get a view of the marina with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water. The place is on the smaller side with a downstairs area that seats maybe 10 tables and an upstairs area that seats maybe 15ish.

The food was AMAZING!! I highly suggest getting the seared ahi tuna, rack of lamb or the ribs. Awesome!! All dishes were well presented and portion sizes were very good for the price and what you are getting. The garden salad is very good as well as an appetizer. Your sides come with a choice of rice and vegetable. You can get a double vegetable if you want to skip on the rice. My side was the sauteed spinach and garlic. It was very good but very salty too.

I had the mahi-mahi and tried everyone elses food too. I was not impressed with the mahi-mahi. It was very bland and unflavorful, however everyone elses dishes were amazing!

This place is a BYO so take note to that. Refills on drinks are free. Prices are mod/high but you are getting great food and a great view! Service however is not so great. We got there for a 5pm reservation with a party of 15. The lady forgot to write down our reservation. HOW DO YOU DO THAT TO A PARTY OF 15???? Luckily since we had an early dinner time, the place was still very vacant so we didn't have a problem getting our tables.

Our server may have been new. He was all over the place. There wasn't many guest at the time of our arrival but he seemed to be preoccupied doing other things then focusing on our table. We had asked for a pitcher of water at one point because he was taking forever to get us our drinks. 15 minutes later, still no pitcher so one of our party members had to get up and take one off of the bus boy rack. For $30/$40 a plate, that should never have had to happen. It should never have happened even for $15 a plate lol

Regardless of the meh service, I still would highly recommend going to this place and trying one of the dishes I suggested!!! Oh and take note. HEED MY WARNING!! Because you are on the marina, there are nasty green head flies EVERYWHERE. They WILL find a place to bite you walking to and from this restaurant so move quickly and wear pants and long sleeved shirts if you can!!

I was wearing calf high boots and got bit 4 times walking from the restaurant to the car!! They actually went inside of my boot and got me!! Evil little things...

Rolling down a back road exploring we came upon Atoinetta's a year ago and vowed to come back. We did on Saturday afternnon and we very much enjoyed our lunch on the bay. I ordered the Chicken Marsala with a side of Penne. My bride chose the Veggie wrap with the spinach salad  and she smiled most of the meal. We vowed to bring the team back for a nice dinner. The service was great and the views magnificent. You can also drive your boat up and park and eat. This business is a BYOB.

We had dinner at Antoinetta's last night and were extremely disappointed... Although the location and ambience of the restaurant is first rate, the food was only fair and the prices were too high. My wife ordered the pan-fried red snapper and it arrived dry with a limp coating that made the fish chewy and unappetizing. My father had the baby back ribs that he swore were right out of a cryovac package, warmed up with some barbecue sauce brushed on. I had a dish called "Lobster Herb" that included a South African lobster tail, two scallops and three small shrimp served over linguine. At thirty dollars this dish, although tasty, was so expensive it kind of spoiled my appetite. My sister had the least expensive dish on the menu, a baked eggplant for twenty dollars. She said that it was OK, but she didn't really seem to be enjoying it.
Antoinetta's is a small restaurant, and we were seated right next to a very loud table with about twelve people at a wedding rehearsal dinner.
Service was very good with our waiter being very knowledgeable and attentive. The view of the bay and marshes is beautiful and I suppose you are paying for that, because the food is not worth it.

Do NOT waste your money on this restaurant. What a shame for such a lovely bay front setting to be ruined by such inedible food.

First, when making reservations and confirming them, the restaurant neglected to mention their BYOB policy. They had a few bottles of wine in house from a nearby winery, and at the thought of a wine-less dinner, we bought a red and a white. They were completely overpriced and tasted like pure vinegar.

That wasn't bad enough -- we had horrible service, and the food was completely inedible. The fish was annihilated and disgusting, flavorless, and chewy and completely unappetizing.

It was ridiculously overpriced for such a disgusting meal. We will never, ever go back. My mother walked out. Save yourself time and money and tons of frustration --- and save yourself the extra $20 you'll pay for pizza on the way home.
