Antoine Du Chez has started to feel like home to me. It is in a great location-although parking can be tough-and the staff is top notch. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a friendly hello and they remember me!
If you are looking for a facial in Denver, I would recommend no one other than Piper. She has made such a difference in my skin. She really puts all of her love and energy into giving you the best facial for your skin type, always making sure you are happy and comfortable as well. The facial starts with your feet soaking in a warm tub of water which really sets a relaxing tone. Then you lay on a warm facial/waxing bed and she instantly relaxes you with her soft touch and soothing voice. You will leave the salon with your skin glowing and feeling relaxed beyond belief.
Trust me...you won't ever regret the decision to book a facial with Piper! -

Right in the heart of Cherry Creek this salon is just what one might expect. It's a bit pricey depending on what you are in the market for but the ambience is top notch!
I highly recommend Cindy as she is one of the bestest esthiticians in town! The gals at the front desk are all very nice and helpful. If you are in the mood to pamper yourself this is an excellent place to do so! -

Once you've skulked your way past the battalion of hyper-perky, waxed n' tanned coeds posing as front desk staff, the hair salon actually RULES.
I saw Alan. His deft touch, keen eye, and swift scissors clip-clipped my "problem hair" into a cute bob.
Alan mentioned that he's worked at Antoine Du Chez for eight years, and his experience shows...both in the precision of my cut and in his pleasant, warm demeanor.
I usually head to avant-ish indie hair-cutterys for my standard dos, but I have an interview next week, necessitating something a bit more professional.
If you enjoy hanging out with Ladies Who Lunch, Antoine Du is the place to get a high-priced hair-cut that might actually be worth the expense. -

I visited this spa when a client canceled and I had a free afternoon while in Denver and staying at the JW Marriott. The facial from Cindy was the best, most relaxing I've ever had...and I've had plenty. She is fantastic. I honestly can't say enough about the hour I spent with her. I knew the minute she started the facial, it was going to be great! I also had a massage from Katie and she was also very good. Personable and very in tuned to what I needed. Kelly was kind enough to wash and blow dry my hair (for a price, of course) when I asked at the last minute. While a little pricey, this place really does it right!

I usually have a massage every month, and my fiance (now husband) sent me here on my birthday for one. First of all, I spent an awkward 20 minutes trying to find a locker with a key that I could actually lock and unlock without difficulty. Not cool. Then I had a brief foot soak before my treatment. During my massage, I began to hear the very loud slamming of cupboards. I asked the therapist what that noise was and she said it was most likely the "therapist coming in for the start of her shift, getting supplies out of the cabinets." I was kind of shocked, as this slamming sound went on for a while, and also why a THERAPIST who knows more than anyone that treatments are going on would make such a ruckus.
My therapist was actually very good, it just was not cool to have all this banging during what is supposed to be a relaxed service. After my massage I asked someone in the hallway if I could borrow a hair dryer, as there wasn't one in the dressing room area/showers/bathroom. Someone brought one in, I stepped in the shower to rinse, and then the hairdryer was GONE when I came back out of the shower. I then had to poke my head out of the dressing room to see where the hairdryer had gone. Someone finally brought me another one, but the situation was kind of weird. If you want a total spa experience, this is definitely NOT it. Its of course the salon downstairs with the spa located upstairs. I think the focus should be on one or the other, as you can hear hairdryers and "salon chatter" in the hallways as well when you walk to your treatment room.
I wish I could find a spa in Denver that would just focus on spa services! Apparently Cherry Creek's Antoine isn't the place for a relaxing spa day. Look somewhere else! Also, good luck finding a parking spot.
Pros: I got a massage
Cons: Loud noises while you're in treatment rooms, little parking options, and lockers that don't work -

I just visited the salon two days ago and Mel and Bonnie were FANTASTIC...the salon is immaculate, and while it is high end, the vibe inside is very friendly, yet professional. I really felt at ease! I am going back next week for a brazilian blowout! Thank you so much and I will definitely be back!

Myself and two of my girls friends visited this spa after staying a night at the JW Marriott. I will try to make this review as short as I can.
The girls working there are all super sweet and I didn't feel like any of the ones we spoke to were snooty at all. The spa itself is okay...really nothing special. There wasn't any of the things that really make a day spa special such as a whirlpool, steam room, etc. It was pretty ordinary, small locker room, small sitting area....nothing extravagant. We did like the foot soak upon arrival. Our only complaint was that it was too short (maybe 3-5 minutes.) I know they have to stay on schedule, but they should tell you to show up a little early if you'd like a longer foot soak....which we would have done.
One friend got a facial and said it was just "okay." She was really upset because the lady giving the facial tried to up-sell through the entire facial. My friend bought the basic facial and then when they started performing it, the lady said "oh you really need this this and this." My friend said "okay, if you think so." Then the lady said "but it all come at a cost," my friend said "how much?" and the lady said "$200!" My friend didn't want to spend over $200 on a facial so she said "no thank you, just the basic facial." The lady said "well, then at least let me do this and this for "this much" more, you really need it!" My friend said "fine." Then, during the entire facial the lady kept telling her why she needed certain products and blah blah blah. My friend was really upset because she just wanted to come in and get a nice relaxing facial, not have someone try to sell her something the entire time. At the end I saw the lady trying to sell my friend all of the products, my friend said they were around $70 each! She thought the facial was just "okay" and it was still $135.00 (without tip.)
My other friend loved her massage and thought it was perfect. We found out later that the woman she had is "the one to go to." My experience was completely different. Going into the massage I told the woman that my shoulders were a bit sore that I'd like I'd like a little pressure (but it was also obvious that I was there to relax.) The woman proceeded to basically beat my entire body for the next 50 minutes. I cringed my teeth the entire time, I yelped, I dug my nails into my hands, each time I'd yelp she say "yeah, you are really tight, I am loosening you up." I was surprised at the end to find that I was not covered in black and blue all over my body. I had been in so much pain the entire time! The only thing I liked was all the hot towels she used and the jaw massage. I felt like she just had a certain routine that she did exactly the same for each client each time...and she was just trying to get to the end. I felt like she should have customized the massage a bit more for me, and saw that I was in pain and applied a lot less pressure and gone a little slower as to make it more relaxing. Massage therapists need to be able to discern what is too much pressure. Her pressure might be great for a 200 pound man, but for a 100 pound woman it was way too much! I later found out that this woman is known for super hard massages! I was so disappointed that I wanted to cry. I was spending a nice weekend with my girlfriends, relaxing, we had plans to go to lunch and shopping afterward and I felt so sore I could barely walk and I was irritable and felt very weepy. I've had many many massages before and I've NEVER had one like this before. It'll definitely be awhile before I want someone to touch me again!
With the massage, they do offer a complimentary make-up touch-up (though it is just powder, mascara and lip gloss, so you have to do it yourself afterward anyways,) and a wash and blow-dry which I enjoyed, and I thought the girl who did mine was very sweet. I also liked their steam showers in the locker room too.....I needed that after the torture I'd just endured.
I think the spa needs to understand that people come here to relax and in fact, we pay a lot of money to do this. We want longer foot soaks, we want to be pampered, we don't want to feel rushed, we don't want to feel like we've been hit and beat-up through our massage, we don't want anyone trying to sell us things, if we like something, we'll ask what it is then you can tell us all about it.
