Wow. I love Steve Jobs. Why? No, he's not paying for my vacation, but he is the god that is making it possible for me to yelp while I'm staying in one of these lovely cabins. Yes. Thank you iPhone for making this possible.
Since someone here has a week off due I shutdown we cane up here for a couple of days to relax. Yes, we're on the tenth hour of leaving home and I'm already back online yelling my little heart out.
Now if you were present at the last trip where I tried to rough it, you'd know that I brought a featherbed and 6 pairs of shoes on my camping trip. (which was very successfully planned by fellow yelper Jay W. and his lovely gf.) yes.. on that trip I brought fuzzy slippers to walk around inthe tent, obviosly not knowing how truly small a four person tent is. Needless to say, I finally went camping in a real tent with a real sleeping bag and got bit by the wilderness bug. So here I am. Memorial weekend in a cabin up in Lake Shasta.
The cabin is quite lovely for the size it is. Comes with a nifty fire stove that after a lot of huffing and puffing that would make Mr. Wolf and the three little pigs proud, we have a lovely fire going. I'm really impressed with all the amenities provided. We finished a lovely grilled dinner on the BBQ.
Clean cozy and comfortable. Now I'm roughing it!
