Omg!!! There is so much to look at. There is something for everyone. They even have a customer service desk, & people coming around to take your goods to the cashier!! Awesome!! They have several price ranges, also.

The place is certainly big.  We found several nice items there on our recent visit.  I really appreciated that somone offered to take the various items in our hands up front and hold them for us.  We ended up bying a big piece of furnature and i was ver suprrised they had it wrapped in shipping wrap and two guys loaded it in my truck only 5 minutes after paying for it.  They have their customer service worked out nicely.

Love this place!!  I've never been and so today was the day.   Unfortunately, I only had one hour which meant I could only go down one isle.  lol..
I recommend at least 6 hours to spend if you are going here.  It's freakin huge!!  and lots to choose from.  Too bad my house isn't bigger I would buy that one peice from The Sir Francis Drake Hotel.  Anyhow, I agree with some of the other people that there are a lot of newer items here, which dont' belong, but other than that, this place rocks!!   I highly recommend!!

Having seen the film "Career Opportunities" from the early 90's, I was fully convinced my dream was to be locked in a Target overnight. Well I may have found a contender for that dream. Antique Trove is huge. Many things are surprisingly affordable including jewelry. This place houses old signs, liquor bottles, clothes, decor, toys, posters, records, etc. You could spend 3 days here and not see everything. It is the Louvre of antique stores. If you are into vintage finds, make your way here.

The only negative is seeing toys that were common in your childhood now considered "antiques." Teletubbies and beanie babies just aged me a couple of decades.

My wife and I are Frequent visitors here. Ive been a picker and an Antique lover/ buyer/seller since I was 12 years old.

I have traveled all over the country and walked through literally hundreds of antique malls and stores and the Antique Trove is one of the Most Class act Antique stores/Malls I have ever been in Period. The place is Huge, Clean/VERY CLEAN, and packed full of GOOD QUALITY Antiques and Collectibles. Lately some vendors seem to be bending the rules or they just aren't catching the stuff but there is some Flea Market type stuff sneaking in.

There is something here for everyone, from Furniture to Jewelery. they even have an on sight Jeweler that re-sizes rings and fixes/repairs anything you may have.

Take your walking shoes and a bottle of water you will be there for a while. This place will ALWAYS BE A DESTINATION for us. We have found Many great pieces here.

Oh, the hours I have spent here....I love finding treasures from my past or even the treasures of the little old lady that lives inside of me.  Teacups, old keys, buttons, crowns, old frames; the list of fantastic finds is endless.  You should leave the kids at home - they are bored and want to touch everything.

    Knocking down to 3.75 stars.

Antique Trove is still my favorite antiquing destination in the Sact'o area.  I always find amazing stuff when I am there.  I never walk out spending less than $100.

Unfortunately, they have been lax on dealers and letting them sell stuff that does not qualify as vintage or antique.  I'm seeing more and more of this every time I visit (every couple months) and it's rather disappointing.  If I wanted to find used Target drinking glasses or homemade greeting cards then I'd just hit up my neighborhood yard sales.

Fun!  There are about a half million things here to check out!  Aisles and aisles.  I didn't find what I was looking for (one of those ceramic Christmas trees that light up from 1972-why I want one, I can't explain!), but that's part of the deal with antiques and vintage, right????
I'd not hesitate to check this place out for tchotchkes  and smalls-lots of glass and pottery.  One vendor has some pretty amazing furniture, but this isn't a furniture haven.
I'll def check back when I'm up here next to visit the mother in law....not too expensive on the wallet either.  Win-Win!

Great antique spot! Just as good as their old location in San Carlos. It's right off 80, so a convenient stop on your way to or from the mountains. There are 50+ booths full of a diverse selection of furniture, kitchen stuff, clothes, and all sorts of other interesting antiques. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and I'd go out of my way to stop again (or convince the driver to stop in).

Quite possibly the coolest store I've ever had the honor of being in to say the least.  For  years I've seen this place off the freeway and just assumed they sold nothing but oversized ceramic planters (as merchandised facing the freeway) and thought nothing else of it. Plus the name completely throws you off  "Antique Trove Garden Terrace" --- there's nothing garden about this place   I didn't even know they had a website so going when I went in the store, I had absolutely no idea what to expect.

The best way I can describe this place ... imagine the coolest multiple garage sale you have ever been to times twenty!  I can easily spend hours at this place and find things that I actually owned back in the 80s.
This is a great place to check out if you're looking to decorate your house and you need to add some unique pieces.  This is also a great place to play "lost and found" ... if your mom threw away your mini Smurf collection from the 80s or your old Strawberry Shortcake lunch box then there's a chance you will find it  here.  They also sell a ton of old comics and antique toys.  Great place to check out 80s and 70s vintage clothes as well.

I was only able to cover one aisle and that alone took one hour.  I can't wait to check this place out again.

    WOW. This place is huge.

On the way home from a doctor's appointment, my friend and I set out to go to the Salvation Army a few exits down on the 80... but this caught our eye so we jumped off the freeway on Douglas.

It's like antique heaven. I picked out every piece of furniture I would ever want in my dream Victorian home. We were here about 2 hours... we got through most of it but I still would like to go back to look again... this time with more money and more time. Overwhelming, indeed.

There are very few times when I feel overwhelmed and walking into this unassuming, tilt-up construction building being one of them.  You think that it will be a nice little store with some antiques, maybe a thing or two to decorate your house with- but holy crap- when you walk through those doors be prepared to feel very small.  This place is PACKED wall to wall.  All 40,000 square feet.  Yup 40,000 MFin' square feet.  That is the size of 26 of my houses, but packed to the brim.

The little spaces are set up like little rooms with tons of cool stuff from every time period you could imagine.  You can find (And this is not even the tip of the iceberg...) vintage clothes, boating oars, old school comics, new and vintage furniture, mannequins, jewelry, knick knacks, old fishing reels, cooking supplies, decorations, ceramic, rugs and much, much, much more.

Two minuses- being that each little section is a separate dealer, you will not find all of the same things next to each other.  Meaning if you are looking for something specific (Like clothes for instance), this probably would not be the stop I would make- it would be frustrating because you have to look at each space, and they have about 250 vendors!  But luckily you take all of your items to the cashier for easy payment.

The second minus being the prices are expensive, but it is because someone has to pay for the overhead!  A lot of the stuff were not true antiques per se, but they were being pushed as such.  And weren't worth much, besides the fact of being old and retro.

But if I had a several thousand dollars I would decorate my entire house from this place!

P.S.  Plan on being here for a long time! I was there for about an hour and didn't even walk the whole perimeter.

I love Antique stores. This place is no cozy, small town shop but it has a lot of quality items. It's a huge store with many vendors. You'll find all the usual antique items: records, furniture, clothing, etc. What I find most interesting here is the large selection of WWII memorabilia, particularly of the nazi variety. It is shocking to many but a part of history, nonetheless. You can also find interesting taxidermy and fossils here. Very cool items. I have purchased a lot of antiques here.

My wife & I just spent a very enjoyable time at the Antique Trove.  We were saddened only because we had an appointment to get to & couldn't stay longer.  So we are planning another visit for next week so we can see the entire store.  The personnel were so friendly & we had 3 different people ask if they could help us.  We will go again & see if we can get more than 3 aisles in!  What a wonderful, clean, & highly organized store.

I would have never assumed this would be what I'd find. I've always just pass by it when I visited nearby businesses. This place is heaven for antique lovers. They have reasonably priced items and it is just humongous! I thought a place like this would only exist in my dreams but it's so nice to know that it is a reality. The staff was pretty cordial, the parking is aplenty. My only complaint is the hours, I wish they were open a bit later for people that work and want to go antiquing afterwards (yes, I know they're open on weekends too, but sometimes, the weekdays is what other people only have time to go out).

without fail i scout out the new finds at the trove whenever i am in that area visiting friends.   i especially like and appreciate how the dealers keep up with the times.   so many antique stores just have old school antiques, the trove has dealers especially in the far 2 left aisles that are right on with LOTS OF INDUSTRAIL STEEL, AGED CEMENT ARCHITECURAL, WONDERFUL  ORIGINAL FARM COUNTRY FINDS  from jelly cupboards, lovely bookcases., small and large tables, old brass and all that decorators are scrabbling for to furnish their own spaces and those of clinents.  KEEP THE BURLAP, CRYSTAL, CHIPPY , AND ALL THAT JAZZ COMING!!!
