This place is nice and the people are very easy to work with.  It was pretty inexpensive.  If you would like to play you own music to walk into make sure you bring a cd because they do not have the ability to play anything else.  Our experience was great they took more pictures then we paid to have taken.  Our marriage license arrived the next week to our house in California.

Wedding during La Tomatina en Reno (tomato fight)?! Thank God I missed the messy event by a few hours. But it would have been fun to join in!

I attended a quickie wedding this past weekend. I must say Antique Angel is quite nice. I've been to the Arch of Reno (a few doors down) during the 7/7/2007 wedding crazy but Antique Angel is better.

A couple wedding rooms with different themes. And the friendly, well behaved dogs will greet you at the door. What blew me away was the wonderful words spoken by the female minister. It was very religious, I like that. Plus, you can get married on the Truckee River!

Two thumbs up for Antique Angel!

I have attended several weddings and receptions at the Antique Angel, as a guest. If I choose to go through the wedding experience (again), this is the place I would pick. Perhaps it's because I'm practical, or because I know how much work a wedding can be, or just because I value my money! I was shocked when I took a peak at their pricelist. The cost of a full wedding at the Antique Angel is comparable to an officiant's fee at any other venue.

My favorite chapel is the Garden Chapel, but I also really like the Tuscany reception room. They have beautiful bouquets... and well, they pretty much take care of everything. Which is a good thing, because my friends who got married there really needed the help! Lol.

Really? 5 stars at this place?
(I'd actually prefer to give it 1.5)
My sister got married here last week- there were about 30 of us total that drove up from the Bay Area and stayed at the Silver Legacy nearby.
Cute location, downtown and near a canal to take pics by..
and while I'm not sure of the pricing, my problem with this place was The Minister/photographer/etc. (older woman with a coarse voice and a rushed approach)
She was VERY short-tempered, bossy, and rude.
The only time she was pleasant was during the actual ceremony, when she was reading.
She is in the business of money, not of actual care or concern of those involved.
-she sent down an ENTIRE wrong family into our ceremony just 3 minutes prior (they were mad too)
-she took pix of bride and bridesmaids but no groom and groomsmen
-she had the bride and brides family on the right and groom and his family on left of aisle and was very rude when we pointed it out, so everything was backwards
-as i was speaking to a bridesmaid she said "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" in front of my family and I informed her I was not speaking to her, to which she said something under her breath
-she took a pic of bride, groom, both parents, me (sister of bride), and grandparents but forgot the groom's ONLY brother and again when I said something she DISMISSED IT. It still pisses me off when I think about it
-and she had a lot of attitude to my mom when she tried to point it out, too.
-doing things like kicking the grooms feet apart and making smart-ass comments to everyone.

The only reason there are any stars on my review is because the decor was alright (1 star) and this place is special simply because my family and friends being here made it so, on that day.

but forever, these things have happened and cannot be replaced. she needs a new job.

I'm not familiar with the wedding chapel scene in Reno so I had to rely on what I saw in pictures. Judging from what I saw in pictures and researching the other chapels in the area, I decided to book a wedding for my uncle at the Antique Angel.

Me being from Norcal, I called AA and they were more than helpful in the wedding planning process since us, the wedding party and AA were communicating from a distance. I forgot the sweet lady's name I was talking to :/ as this took place months ago. But everything went according to plan, even better than we had expected it to.

The wedding took place in August, so it was warm with a cool breeze here and there. Perfect weather for an outdoor wedding! Instead of having the ceremony in a chapel we opted for the river which cost us an additional but small fee and is walking distance from the actual chapel. The actual ceremony took about 10 minutes. The minister began with the usual "We are gathered here today..." and then read some scripture from the Bible, and then had the bride and groom exchange vows. After that, she gave them a blessing and pronounced my uncle and his fiancee husband and wife...in 10 minutes maybe even less.

The river water mind you was not a beautiful blue green color but more of a polluted green color but you forget all that when you hear the calmness of the water running over the rocks and the waterfall wall. The gazebo and columns were perfect for picture taking after the ceremony.

If your looking to marry quickly or just have a simple yet beautiful wedding ceremony, Antique Angel is the place to go to start that journey.

They take care of everything! I mean everything ! We had a wonderful ceremony (with lots of crying). They made my flowers beautifully. We even had a little reception for 50 with cake and bubbly. The cake was delicious, the room was well decorated.  We could not have asked for a more perfect day. If you want a beautiful & stress free wedding this is the place to go. I am so glad we picked this chapel. If we had to do it all again, I wouldn't have changed a thing.

This is the best chapel in Reno.  My husband and I decided to elope.  I researched my options online and had a hard time picking a chapel.  So when we arrived in Reno my husband and I drove around and visited all of the chapels in Reno.  The moment I walked into the Antique Angel I knew that it was the perfect chapel for us.  The owner of the chapel gave us a tour of the chapels (they have 3 to choose from).  We met with the woman who officiated the wedding and discussed what we wanted in our ceremony.  The staff was extremely warm and a delight to work with.

They were extremely accommodating to our schedule.  We called Saturday morning and were married by 2:00 pm that day.

They do perform ceremonies on the river as well.

    This chapel exceeded my expectations.
