If I want processed cheese on my pizza, I'll think back to my summers at camp cafeterias, not order a 15 buck pizza from the local eatery. Seriously, this pizza tasted like the cooks plopped down a few pieces of white cheddar kraft right before taking it out of the oven. The pieces of meatball on the pizza weren't much better (mystery meat anybody?).

At least the tomatoes and onions were fresh, but the onions weren't cooked long enough, so they still had all their bite, and the tomatoes got a little mushy.

Then there's the issue of the sauce and crust. Everyone knows the whole point of pizza is the crust. And by everyone I mean me.

When I say this crust was bad, I mean I didn't even both eating the part without any toppings....that is some awful crust. They attempted to add a basil flavor to the sauce, but it just made the sauce taste packaged and, quite frankly, a little soapy.

Need I say that I will not be ordering take out from here again? The only redeeming quality I can say about this place is that the person who took my order was extremely friendly, but I guess good service is kind of a must when your food is THIS bad.

The fried shrimp I had here might have been the best I have ever had. The batter was delicious and they only cost $3.50 for a big basket.  I also had an eggplant parm and chicken sandwich, which was $4.95 but would have been $3.95 if I didn't add the chicken. The sandwich was delicious! My friend had pizza and a Cesar salad. A pretty large personal pizza is about $6 if I remember correctly. The service was great and the place is usually full on the weekends, but when we went we were some of the only sit-down customers. Anthony's gives the restaurant experience with chairs and tables and low lighting, but not fancy or high tipping because you get your food from the counter. The place is really huge and there are a variety of seating options. I am definitely going back.
