So I heard that Anthony's was one of the nicer places to dine in Tallahassee and I was definently not disappointed! I will recommend though that you make reservations, because even on a Monday night I had to wait a little (it seems to be a very popular restaurant). The atmosphere is quaint and they have low lighting (I definently think it would be a nice place to go on a date).
They have typical Italian dishes, but also some creations of their own. I was also impressed because they had Escargots on the menu, which I don't get to see a whole lot anymore. All entrees come with a house or caesar salad. The caesar dressing was definently homemade, I could taste the anchovies ;-) I ordered the Pasta Eduardo as my entree which was Shrimp and crab meat in a cream cheddar sauce over Fettucini. I was happy to learn that they make their own pasta!!! (which was cooked perfectly - al dente).
By the end of the meal I was already full, but I decided I really needed some chocolate, so I had the Brownie a la mode. The brownie was DEFINITELY homemade, very delicious. They also have classic favorites such as tiramisu, cannolis, etc. I would recommend this place if you are ever in Tally....
