Review from Hideo M.
San Jose, CA
This was my most enjoyable restaurant I've gone during my week stay in the Pacific Northwest. They had happy hour with drinks, appetizer and sunset dinner menu. I was rewarded for coming in early! I was able to get a full course dinner and not spending too much. My favorite was actually the six pack oyster shots!

Review from Julia W.
I met a girlfriend here for Happy Hour on a drizzly Friday night and had never been to this location before.
I initially stopped at the restaurant down the way thinking it was Anthony's since this location is a bit deep down on Admiral Way.
The restaurant is located upstairs and there is a "cafe" that is downstairs. It was really wet out so the stairs were just an additional pain (I also admit it had taken me about an hour to get there with the slick roads so I was just dying to eat and relax).
I was greeted by the hostess but we were going to sit in the bar so I walked in to seat myself and noticed a few things.
A) the 'bar' is extremely small. I didn't see much of the dining room since they had it closed and a wall divider so you couldn't really see in.
B) It is full of 'elderly' folks; more so than usual for Anthony's "Early" Bird dinners. I got cut off by a elderly gentlemen who wanted to fight me for a table in the bar.
C) The view is non-existent from the bar. The Des Moines location is setup that you have quite an enjoyable view from both the restaurant 'and' the bar so you're not neglecting anything to choose happy hour over regular dinner.
Our server was great and the food was good as always although I keep noticing that the 'Early Bird' Dinners are creeping up in price each year. I was introduced to them back when it was $14.95 for the four-course meal. I believe it is now up to $19.95 which is still a great deal although it's definitely spendier than it used to be.
I still love Anthony's chowder/food/etc but I would stick to larger locations with better views. This was not my fave at all. -

over priced, mediocre "fine" dining.

Nothing wrong with Anthony's HomePort that cutting its prices in half couldn't cure. My Cioppino was fine, if unimaginative, but for $25, they used fairly cheap seafood, and the real kicker was my friend's $30 steak, 6 ounces at most. Are you kidding me? And the small shrimp on my salad were so flavorless I think they came out of a can.
Again, nothing wrong with any of that. At half the price. They're still in business, so that tells me there's too little competition for them. The moment a genuine fine restaurant opens up in the area, Anthony's is going to be a ghost town. Many of these reviews suggest Arnie's down the street, maybe I'll check that out next time. -

Not going back. We used to look forward to dinner at Anthony's and would often bring visitors from out of town. The last time we went the food was awful -- all five orders were a disaster. I couldn't finish my salmon, it was so bland and unattractive. It was embarrassing, since we brought friends from Hawaii.

The best thing about this place is the view, for sure. This place is the classic "fine dining" establishment, and would be a great place to take parents or grandparents for a classy dinner. The food is good...nothing spectacular. I had salmon cakes, and the serving size was pretty good. Two hockey-puck sized cakes that came with a good size serving of rice (it was flavored of some sort), and asparagus. Luckily my dining partner had a gift card which made our dinner for two affordable.

This is the spot for my family and I to gather and catch up. The food is never "WOW" but always consistent and good. The server for our last visit made some great suggestions and was friendly. You must try the coconut prawns.

Pricey, but worth the view. I look forward to going here during the summer to see the Puget Sound. Went here during the Christmas season and the sailboats out front are all lit with Christmas lights. Plenty of parking is available and the food is impressive. I didn't even need to dip my steamed clams in butter because they had the dish right!

(2.5 stars) Anthony's (as of the time of this review) has 20 locations. I've been to 4. Given that the bulk of them are around the Sound, I never really considered Anthony's a "chain", one of those soulless, corporate enterprises there more to make a buck rather than be a good restaurant. But after my last visit, I'm changing my mind.
Have you ever been to a place where the staff acts like they are just doing their time and collecting a paycheck with minimal care about the establishment, let alone the food? I though two visits here ago it was possibly an "off night", but last time again, from the hostess to our bartender/server (and the good amount of floor staff we saw walking by us), the food and customer experience seems to be way far down their list of concerns. Rather, we got to overhear rent issues, dating experiences, next weekend's BBQ plans - many things from many people, and for some, it meant we had to call them over to put in an initial drink order, get menus, order dinner, get more drinks, pay, etc. Service wasn't rude, just really detached.
Food however, was a bit of a letdown. Nicely plated, but who serves crab-cakes in a pool of rhubarb compote so sweetened as to be pancake ready? Let's not even talk about the salmon salad that had more rhubarb (salsa? chutney? I don't know) than fish, and again way too sweet.
Not sure if it is just this installment of Anthony's, or the whole chain, but I'm pretty safe in saying I'll probably not be going out of my way to come back to this one any time soon. -
Review from Jim P.
Listen, my previous review proves that a restaurant should stick to what it does right, and the dinners at Anthony's have always been well prepared, cooked to perfection, and service has always been top notch.
But something happened last night that I would love to share with my fellow Yelpers that restored my faith in corporate America and mankind.
We were celebrating my nephews deployment to Afghanistan, he is a member of the USMC. He will actually be stationed in the "red zone" and this was probably our last chance to visit with him before he leaves in a couple of weeks. Our waitress "Kathy?" was in the reserves and was kind of picking his brain about where he's stationed etc.. and telling him she was a nurse in the reserves and was stationed in San Diego at one time.
We all order our food and since my nephew is the guest of honor, and his dad is SO proud of him he encourages his son to order the lobster dinner with all the fixings and trust me, his parents never would've sprung for that when he was growing up.. We have a great meal, my nephew enjoys his lobster, we order desert (Anthony's does have the best seasonal deserts) and when we receive our bills the waitress tells my nephew that the manager "Dave" insists on paying for his whole meal and thanks him for his service to the country. The beauty of this is that this family eats at Anthony's all the time so I know that Dave wasn't trying to get some good PR out of this, he really wanted to show his appreciation. Dave came out and thanked my nephew himself, shook his hand, and I must say restored my faith in mankind.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from Rose P.
Seattle, WA
I love this place. I've been here a handful of times over the years and it holds a special place in my heart!
Boyfriend and I had dinner here on Friday (just for the hellofit) but we've been here for birthdays, anniversaries, and graduation celebration dinners, too.
The view was gorgeous and we didn't have to wait more than a couple of minutes for a table. We watched the sun go down from our table and I had a hard time focusing on the menu because I was so distracted by view of the skies and water beyond the marina.
We ordered calimari to start (Boyfriend thought it should be crispier, I thought it was just right) but the appetizer was so big that between the 2 of us we didn't finish it.
Next was salads, and we both had that spinach salad with peaches, raspberries, and blue cheese. YUM YUM YUM!!
For dinner, Boyfriend had coconut prawns and steak and I ordered that Dungeness Crab Fettuccine...and for the first time in my life I had to send my meal back. I'm pretty sure there were all of two pieces of crab in the whole dish and the butter & garlic sauce tasted like a stick of butter had been melted on top. I couldn't eat it.
Our waiter, Demitri, was BEYOND gracious and accommodating and had another dish prepared for me with my "concerns" in mind. He told me that Jared prepared the second dish and it was PERFECT. Soo good. I was pretty full but I ate a portion of it and took the rest home (and had it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner the next day...what does that say about portion sizes?!)
Boyfriend thought his steak was too tough, but didn't say anything because he didn't want to be a jerk =/ (he still devoured it, though).
Later, Melissa (manager?) came out to make sure we were enjoying our meal and also comped use our dessert (Peach Slump...to die for).
This was the first time I'd ever had an issue with the food but it was handled so well and overall that was the best service I've received anywhere. Of course we'll be back. -
Review from Meghan K.
Beautiful view! The restaurant is a little dated but the food is delicious. I had the seasonal rhubarb strawberry lemonade and it was really tasty. The sourdough bread the accompanies the meal is warm and crusty, and I like how you can choose between a few starter salads with your meal. I had one with a dill dressing and bacon and it was great. For my main course I had the copper river salmon. It was pretty good, and the beurre blanc sauce was not too overpowering. Overall, I enjoy coming to this place. I have no qualms about spending money for great food, but I feel like for the quality of food and the ambience that the menu is slightly overpriced. That is why I have only ever come here if someone else is picking up the tab.

Review from D.J. Y.
While we've usually enjoyed our meals here, I must say the Brunch is much better here than dinner, I have no idea why.
Brunch here is a nice affair, I'm not a big fan of the all-you-can eat type brunch's so this format suits my tastes better.
Choose a main item, my fav are the Crab cake eggs Benedict, thank God for Lipitor, the hollandaise is rich and plentiful. They serve coffee or OJ with your meal and along with the brunch service comes a nice fruit tray selection of in season fruits and their signature Blue Berry coffee cake, YUM!!
Service-wise the brunch servers do it right, they keep the coffee cups full they ask if you need more of anything in a timely manner and well, the daylight view is nice, nothing really special, just a nice touch being able to see the marina and all.
I mean for an older, local chain restaurant, in Edmonds, what do you want? They do what they can with what they have. I do agree with Terrell M. the smell from low tide can be a bit much, but heck that's nature for you....Listed in: MY top ten moderately "cool"…

Review from Bunneh L.

Great brunches. My crab cake benedict was fabulous, but pricey for breakfast at a hefty $20. But the eggs were poached perfectly soft and they didn't skimp on the hollandaise. The crab cakes actually had big, tender chunks of crab throughout. It was luscious. All items on the brunch menu include a fairly large fresh fruit plate, served with creme fraiche, and blueberry coffee cake, with cinnamon butter. They were delish.
The beer battered halibut fish and chips are amazing. The deep-fried halibut is crispy and well-seasoned on the outside, and moist and hot on the inside. What more can you ask for?
The view at the Edmonds Marina was gorgeous and the service was Johnny-on-the-spot. -

Wow! Such an odd experience. The upstairs restaurant is obviously dated and the community deals with it because everybody in Edmonds is old. Smelly elevator, 300 pound waitress, that old kind of wood trim thing is supposed to look nautical but screams " we can't afford to renovate. " I get all that. We came in to our dining experience tonight with low expectations for the mid week lobster special at 20 bucks a person. Salads were ok, 50 year old bus boy obviously had chunks of stuff on his digits as our our water glasses had three dimensional stains. When our lobster got there it wasn't the whole lobster, just the tail and was already out of the shell. We know how to eat lobster. At that point the giant waitress loomed over us and demanded
We hand over our shells using our bread plates and salad forks to retrieve them. It's obvious the restaurant bought a gross of frozen
Tails and re use the shells for service. Yuck, just yuck. I will never eat at an Anthonys again.

As soon as I started walking up the stairs to the main dinning area I know it wasn't going to go well. The carpet on the stairs was faded and stained with something that looked like blood. It probably wasn't, but its more dramatic to think it was.
We had drinks and food in the bar and you would think that since the restaurant is on the water they would make good use of the view. This isn't the case, especially in the bar were you can barley see the water let alone have much of a view.
Drinks were weak and the food was weaker. The price was the only think not watered down...
Service was slow and it seemed like we were more of a after thought for the staff.
I'm giving them two stars because we only sat in the bar and didn't sit in the main dinning area. Maybe its better there, but I'm pretty sure I wont be back to find out. -

One of my favorite brunch places. I was not convinced at first when I was asked to go here. Edmonds? Seafood brunch? I don't got that kind of cash!
Best 25 bucks I could spend I tell ya!
With your breakfast entree you get unlimited warm soft melty blueberry coffeecake, fresh in season fruit and a gorgeous view!
I get a mimosa to make it luxurious for a day. With tip I haven't spent more than 25 yet and you are served generous portions. Not lumberjack, but filling.Listed in: Top Restaurants

Los Angeles, CA
It's not the most amazing food you'll ever have, but there are some standouts on the menu, and it's a less-expensive (if not cheap) alternative to Homeport.
I like the rockfish tacos and the alder-planked salmon, and the classic fish-and-chips if I'm feeling like something greasy. When I have ginormous boys to feed, the all-you-can-eat is handy.
The desserts are pretty good and the seasonal fruit dishes can be awesome - the huckleberry slump may be the best use of a spoon in the history of mankind.
I've been here many, many times with my family, ever since I was a kid. It's noisy and often pretty crowded, but it's a good place for groups and the wait's usually not too bad.
The view's nice, and when it's warm out it's great to sit at the outdoor tables - though please be realistic, you're right there on the water, it's going to smell like Puget Sound. -

We have recently returned to the NW after a decade and are surprised by the changes we find. Anthony's is a good example. We enjoyed many, many great meals at the Everett in the past so we gave the Edmonds location a try. While the location, view and service are outstanding, the meal was really lacking. The lobster was the size of a crayfish - about 4 bites. Teeny, really. Then there was the tablespoon of rice and 7 green beans! Surely they could have served larger servings of these inexpensive side dishes! Of course this is an example of "you get what you pay for" - under $20.00 but it was hardly worth that. The other offerings are good but very expensive for what you get. If they could lower the prices or give larger portions it would be a great place.

Review from Love Muffin ..

Went here with my boyfriend, his mom, and his little sister (who waits tables here), so she was able to advise us on our choices.
we all started our meal with some mussels. i love mussels, and i liked theirs. the broth wasn't very flavorful. and i guess they realized this b/c they also brought out melted butter.
next, we all got their spinach salad (with huckleberries and blue cheese). i guess it's huckleberry season there, and they had a number of huckleberry items on the menu. i had never had a huckleberry before -- they are so good!!!
then I got their 'best of season' halibut with huckleberries. huge piece of halibut, green beans, and a turkish-style rice (cinnamon-y with raisins or dates or something). the halibut was great. the sides were bland. i only finished about half -- and that was after giving out bites to my dining companions.
we finished with a huckleberry cobbler (i forget what they called it) with huckleberry ice cream on top (this was a substitution that bf's sister made for us). sooooooooooooooooooooo good. i was only going to have one bite because i was so full, but i ended up having, uh, more than one.
i had bites of the other entrees, and i must say that mine was by far the best (the other entrees had were the king salmon, the duet (chargrilled salmon and halibut), and scallops). this is why i'm giving them 3 stars instead of 4.
oh, and the bread was great -- hot and crusty. mmmm.... -

Yeah, another oyster place.
The BF and I went here yesterday after a wonderful walk along the water. I tried the ahi "nachos" and I loved them. Otherwise, they are exactly same as the other Anthony's: a little dated, a little dark, but great HH.
I still favor the Shilshole location due to my Husky alliance.Listed in: Getting Shell(fishy) with it

I tried. I mean I REALLY tried. I refrained from giving them a bad review after my mediocre (at best) brunch, but I can hold my tongue no longer.
Tonight we decided to go for dinner. We didn't have reservations, but decided we could wait. We were told it was a 40 minute at most wait. We waited, and waited, and waited. We had the six year old and 11 month old with us, and magically our kids were good for the whole 50 (yes, 50) minutes we waited.
I was apologized to for the wait and told there would be a complementary appetizer sent to our table for us. Ends up what was ordered for us was the calmari. That sucks, as no one wanted the calamari...too bad they didn't consult us before that, as the food was wasted. I would have rather not have had one than to be given something we didn't want.
We ordered the crab artichoke dip for our appetizer. It seriously tasted as if it was made with tunafish. Bleh.
I ordered the steak and coconut prawns. The hubby got the crab fettucini, and my six year old got the kids' salmon.
My steak was delish. The prawns were overly greasy and bland. Had to be drenched in the sauce to be good. Who'd have thought the seafood place would ace the land animal and screw up the seafood??
My husband's crab linguini had yummy lump crab in it, but the sauce, like my shrimp, was bland. Also a bit too runny for my liking.
My daughter's fish was over-seasoned for being for a child. Salmon is pretty simple, a little lemon, maybe some butter, a touch of dill MAYBE and you're good. This was over-done and she hated it. You can't over-do things for kids under the age of 10 - which is who this is supposed to be for.
Service - aaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. After waiting almost an hour to get seated we waited a FULL HOUR to get our food. Like, SERIOUSLY?
I was sitting there with a six year old and an ELEVEN MONTH OLD. I did my best to keep her entertained but shoot, in the end we were there two hours and twenty minutes. Far too long for anyone.
Oh, the staff attire is SO outdated. Would someone please update their poor wardrobe?
I will NOT be returning here...I gave them two shots and both times they blew it. -

In terms of the Beach Cafe, I like this Anthony's better than any of the other locations I've been to. For one thing, I think the bread here may be free. (I could be wrong, though, since usually it's my in-laws paying here.) For another thing, the decor is cheerier, the service quicker, and the overall feel more pleasant.
In terms of their food, I like the blackened rockfish tacos. The fruit salsa is sweet and spicy, and the fish is moist but thoroughly cooked. The tortilla chips the tacos come with are a little "eh", so I think I might ask for fries instead next time. The desserts tend to be quite good, and they do special themes based on the time of the year and what crops are in season.
If you're in Edmonds along the beach and want a pleasant lunch or brunch, I would recommend this place. However, I wouldn't get in the car and drive over just for this. -
Review from adam b.
3.5 Stars. Had the tuna poke appetizer and it was mediocre. The clams appetizer was quite good. Clam chowder was good and the halibut was fine but nothing special. I did have a taste of the salmon which was the best of all. Great view is the main reason to go.

GO TO ARNIE'S DOWN THE STREET INSTEAD!
I knew this place was going to lick..... BUT, we were waiting for tide to go down to work on bud's sailboat. Naturally, sitting on dock 10 yards away from Anthony's, hungry as heck, we decided to give it a try. I ordered an $8 "Lemonade" which had absolutely NO TRACE of vodka in it. Fortunately, we had provisions to take care of that. The Chowder breadbowl consisted of a few oz's of chowder and mostly just bread. I asked for NO FRIES and a small salad in place of fries/coleslaw. They naturally dinged us for that as well. The battered True-Cod was done well, but come on, its impossible to screw up a battered-deep-fried fish, even for ANTHONY'S.
NO HAPPY HOUR HERE EITHER. BOTTOM-LINE, might as well wrapped some fishing line on a beer-can, caught some perch off the dock, and battered them up instead! -

We went here for my birthday last summer. It was pretty good food. Wonderfully fresh green beans accompanied my steak.
Their creme brulee was not that good. Seemed like it had been sitting in the fridge too long.
This place has a fantastic view...it needs to be remodeled dearly. I am used to the Anthony's in Bellingham Bay - now that place is gorgeous. The Edmonds location needs an upgrade. -

This is a fantastic restaurant, all around. It's seems packed every time I've been there, but not unpleasantly so. I see it as a testament to the restaurant's fabulousness.
Hubby and I took our parents there to meet each other for the very first time. Dinner was a hit, our parents got along famously, and everyone went home happy (and full!). We have celebrated many family events and milestones at Anthony's over the years because the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere are truly top-notch.
Of course, the view from the dining room over the water and the mountains is certainly a great backdrop for it all.
Also of note is the beach cafe, just downstairs from the main dining room. The prices are a bit more affordable, the food is of the same quality as upstairs, and it makes a great diversion from waiting in the endless line for the ferry to Kingston on a busy Friday night. -

There is Anthony's Homeport and Anthony's Beach Cafe both situated on the Edmonds Waterfront by the park. I haven't been to Anthony's in YEARS because (IMO) they just can't hold a candle to Arnie's for the following reasons a) ambiance b) food c) customer service d) view. (in no particular order) I will say that most "Yelpers" reviews of Anthony's are RIGHT on...dirty, outdated decor, unsavory meals and poor customer service.
On a more positive note, Anthony's Beach Cafe is FABULOUS! I As others have mentioned it is VERY noisy almost any time you go, so if you are looking for a quiet, intimate setting...pass on this establishment. During the summer months (or should I say when Seattle see's temps over 78 degrees) do yourself a favor and enjoy the outside seating. When it gets cooler in the evenings there are heat lamps and blankets...but of course a glass or two of vino will warm you RIGHT up! ;0)
I have been enjoying the likes of the Beach Cafe since the mid 80's when it opened. My ALL time favorite is the Almond Chicken Salad...its seriously SO delicious! Then they serve that wonderful foccacia bread...oh LORD...don't even think about dining here if you have a weakness for carbs!
They also have really great chowder...as well as other seafood specialties. Aside from the salad, the alder planked salmon is delicious! Really, there isn't anything on their menu that isn't mouthwatering and delightful!
And in case I haven't emphasized enough...the outdoor dining experience is really a lot of fun! There truly isn't a better way to spend a summer day than on the patio of the Beach Cafe. (Hey! I'm a POET and DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT! lol) On a sunny, warm afternoon a person can definately understand how the phrase "It's an Edmonds kind of day" was coined. -

Here's a piece of advice I already knew and should have taken:
Order with caution off the "Specials" sheet. Why? Because although it often features a new seasonal dish, the specials are more than likely to be items that the restaurant is trying to get rid of before they go bad.
Hence, the ling cod on the menu. Our server even recommended it, but probably wouldn't have if she'd tried it. The cod smelled like a dead goldfish and tasted even moreso. After hesitating to mention anything the first time our server checked on us, I decided to just grow some balls and mention my dissatisfaction so that she could rectify the situation and make it a happier evening for me.
I was so shy about it, but the server made me feel perfectly comfortable, and asked if I'd given any thought to an alternative menu item. I said I had tried my Dad's razor clams and thought they were perfect, so she smiled and told me to munch on my side items while I waited for my new entree. That was kind! I got to enjoy both plates of veggies! And the razor clams were just the right amount of chewy and velvety, sweet and salty, smooth and lingering in flavor.
The creme brulee for dessert was great, too. Why Anthony's doesn't get a 5 star rating is the poor selection of seafood on the menu (no scallops? No shellfish assortment? No funky types of seafood?), and the scarily-unfresh ling cod that has me wondering about the quality of the other "Specials". Anthony's isn't cheap, so the food should rise above expectations, no? Well, the razor clams did, anyhow.
Thanks to our server though, for really putting me at ease about everything, and for keeping us all in good spirits during a rare family night out. -

Slow service. Very slow. It took us 30 minutes just to sit down and another 15 to get some bread, which was stale tasting anyways. We got our food in at least an hour.
The food was mediocre tasting but, they did not clean my shrimp well. One of them had some shrimp poop on it. (I own a fish tank so I know what a shrimp's turd looks like thank you very much.)
The kid's play area smelled strongly of dead fish. It was very gross to walk by and it wasn't even hot and sunny.
Including dessert and our bill waiting was at least a hour. The cost wasn't bad for 5 people around 80$ is good for seafood but, I am not saying it was a good value because of the waiting and the yucky shrimp. -

So if this page was only for the Happy hour this would easily be a 5 star review. The happy runs til 6:30pm daily and offers amazing deals. Salmon Swimmers and Beef Sliders are only $3 for 3. These by themselves are delicious enough to keep me coming back for more but then they throw in great drink specials just to make it even better. When the bill comes they list what you saved under what you owe and every time I have been the savings has been more then the price. I love this happy hour.
I haven't eaten in the restaurant in a while but I remember it being a fairly descent steak and seafood place. I would say a solid 3 star by itself. -

Decent happy hour prices. It's going to cost you $40 bucks for 2 to get full and have a drink or two. The clams were awful and sandy, but the Ahi Nachos were pretty good.

Overall...3.5 stars.
I do not care for the Beach Cafe...the menu is just empty of dishes I am interested in. I default to the Fish Tacos...and they are just average.
But the main Anthony's is quite good. Very good service, quality drinks, and fresh seafood.
I usually order some fresh Oysters as well as their blue cheese salad to start, and both are excellent. For dinner I enjoy the Seafood Cioppino filled with fresh fish, Shrimp, Mussels, Clams, tomatos...mmmm, it is always wonderful.
Not to mention the waterfront location can not be beat. A great Edmonds restaurant well worth visiting. -

Delicious, consistent mahi mahi tacos brings Anthony's Beach Cafe a 4 star rating. They remembered to add extra cilantro too. We first shared a salad, large enough for two to enjoy. My husband thought his pan-fried oysters, red potatoes, and green beans were a perfect meal. We always leave satiated, but not stuffed.
Friendly service. Plus, we were given a $20 coupon for another visit. A product of these trying times...
Just too bad that there's often a wait there. And being that you're right at the beautiful Edmonds waterfront with bobbing boats...there is hardly a view unless you're standing.
Quite pleasant in the summer. But, even then, it's usually cool and windy here, as the tables are situated on the northwest side. -

Sad to see such low scores. I'm reviewing only for good ol Sunday brunch, which in my opinion is fantastic for Edmonds! You get to order off the menu (I try to limit myself from the AYCE places or else I gain 10lbs just in breakfast alone!) crab cake benedict was delightful as were the seafood 'bowls' that the table ordered. Blueberry coffee cake and fruit was standard and yummy.

Anthony's, I have one recommendation for you: Learn to season your expensively priced food!! If you would do that I would like you much, much better, and maybe I'd stop over and eat at your place more often. Until then, I will continue to be a patron of Arnie's, even if they do screw me over with bad service every once in a while.

The service here was wonderful. The prices were a little expensive, but it was worth the calm and pleasant view, the taste of the food, and the SUPERB service. Their alcoholic drinks are not poorly priced, pretty typical prices for the "nicer" resturaunts out there. I came here for my graduation with my family and we enjoyed ourselves here. And if you want some GREAT FLAVORED TASTING food of the sea, that even looks as good as it tastes, then COME HERE. Plan to spend more then your usual dine out, but it's worth every penny. My family and I had a great experience here.

This is a review for the Beach Cafe. Personally, ive never been up to anthonys upstairs because they arent open for lunch, which is typically when i would come to the beach. They have delicious food here, from big juicy burgers, to salmon ponzu, everything is fresh and tasty, and they serve you endless amounts of bread. I have tried a lot of different dishes here and they are all tasty. It is a little louud and a lot more casual than the fine dining upstairs, but the food quality never suffers.
