When you're driving through Las Cruces, it's very likely that you'll see one of Anthony (Tony) Pennock's beautiful murals on the city's water tanks. I've never thought some of the most impressive murals I've ever seen would be displayed on water tanks until I arrived here.
He's done a few (that I know of so far) and it's been recently announced that he'll be working on a new mural at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum's Main Gallery with Las Cruces' own NMSU students. I can't wait to see it!
