My favorite health food store. Produce is great and reasonable. I heard it was just recently bought out by the old Food For Thought who used to be my favorite. Glad you are back. Food For Thought sold to Whole Foods which was never like Food For Thought or Ansteads. So glad to have these nice local community Health Food Stores back! Ansteads is such a wonderful store. Small and sweet.

Small but neat! Place is supplied well w/ great sandwiches, produce, healthy organic stuff....Price wise it's really very reasonable, friendly staff....you can't really go wrong with this place! Highly Recommended!
This actually isn't too bad for Healdsburg health-food store. The prices aren't the greatest, but I really enjoyed the sandwiches I've gotten here. Outdoor seating involves sitting a foot away from the parking lot and cars, but overall the location is fine. The produce is in fine condition, and there's a good selection of items.

Anstead's is great! Come here for great pannini or deli sandwich. They have a great selection of organic and natural foods, packed into a small store. It's the only place in town I can find lemongrass. People are friendly. While prices are a little steep (just like Whole Foods or any other organic/natural foods store), it's one of the only places in town where you can buy locally produced foods and guaranteed organic foods. They also have some of the better natural beauty products.
We love Anstead's for their great (and inexpensive!) produce and random hard to find natural foods. The checkers are generally friendly and although the layout is a bit tightly packed, it's not usually crowded and doesn't seem to attract the tourists. They seem to be a natural foods store that understands food should taste good. I can get behind that!
