"I love you, 151 Boutique! I do. Can I send you flowers? Or perhaps some fluffy Sibby's Cupcakes? Because that's what I do when I'm in…" read more »
the styles and designers they have are awesome! i love it because it is so close to my house but i hate the staff. they are all rude snotty girls and one gay guy, who is also a snotty little princess as well. i would buy more from them if they were friendlier but no. i am glad that a new boutique i think it is called 151 or something, just opened down the street. now THAT is a great staff! the staff at anniki is very rude but the clothes are nice.

This is the guestlist for my dream dinner party I'd love to throw. Coincidentally, it's also the list of collections you'd find at this cute downtown Los Altos boutique for fashion divas.

For a while I had different feelings about this place... but it's official, I love it here. They have great collections that aren't replicated at anyother boutique on Main Street.
Their personnel is also very friendly-- I'm not a big fan of boutiques with dressing rooms that don't have mirrors in them (for the sole purpose that you'll come out to look at the large mirror and the sales staff can fawn over you), but for some reason, I don't hate it as much at Anniki, probably because their associates have something valuable to say about what you're trying on, and... they all have those amazing accents that you can't tell if they're from Eastern Europe or what-- I can't help but love it.
There's a difference between a store that has a lot of things, but you walk out empty handed-- and a store that has exactly what you want and you walk out the door knowing your Amex bill is going to be high, but you're completely okay with it! This is the place!
I have bought several items from Anniki, and I'm pleased with several things about this boutique.
Every once in a while, they have a jean sale of up to 50%, and this is a great way to get cute designer jeans at a reasonable price ($80-$100). Some people may think that this is still a lot to pay for jeans, but my favorite pair are james preserved, and they are the most comfy, soft, form flattering pair i've ever worn.
Anniki has items that are all different shapes; classicly thin silhouettes, swingy trapeze styles, and things that flutter in between. There is a great variety in color, material, and shape here. There are some consistently great labels here (Harry and David!!) and the sales people are very aware of what's in, what's coming in, and what looks good. Actually, sometimes it feels like they're trying to sell up; I was trying on a sale item and a sales rep noticed what kind of stuff I was picking out, and she brought me a piece to go with my sale stuff...that cost three times what my sale item cost. yes, i bought it, because she was right and it was ridiculously cute.
This is an excellent place to go if you're trying to revamp your look and you ahve a lot of cash to spend on it; the people here will work wonders for you and make you feel pretty.
Prices are the usual for most given labels, but some clothes that were made with unrecognizable designers (usually this is a good thing) and not the best material, were over $150? Huh? All jewelry over $100. Huh?
Two words: Look Online.

DVF was on EVERY rack I perused.
C'mon. Let's be a little creative and risky here.
Sizes were sparse or nil.
Not a fan of the lack of mirrors in the individual dressing rooms.

Incredibly spacious and clean, organized display. I love the roomy dressing rooms, but hate how the absence of mirrors forces you to take your self-conscious booty outside to the exposed vestibule (where the lone mirror resides) for all the world to see.
They're recently started carrying Tom Nguyen and will be experimenting with how the line does.

It's hard to find a good boutique on the peninsula, but Anniki is where I go when I'm visiting my boyfriend's parents in Los Altos. They've got a large selection of brands: jeans (true religion, 1921, citizens, etc.), DVF, theory, pete, juicy, james perse and more but I can't remember. It's a great place to go, since they've got high and low(er) priced items.
