your first time is going to be a little overwhelming. it will be quick and confusing, and afterwards you'll be unsure if you got what you really wanted. but you'll be hooked, and after some practice, you'll be doin it with the best of 'em.
i love watching anna's virgins get all flustered and confused as the guy behind the counter prepares their burrito. here's the trick: ignore what he says, watch his hands. if you wait until he finishes asking you if you want sour cream, he'll have already put it in your burrito. just watch his hands, point, and say yes or no.
and listen, if you go into anna's looking for authentic mexican food, then take your one or two star review and shove it. let's be realistic here. neither anna's, boloco, chipotle (maybe LEAST of all is corporate chipotle), boca grande, etc, are authentic mexican food. don't be dumb. don't order one thing when you want another and then criticize it for your own poor reasoning. and all of the above are relatively similar and only vary in the amount of each ingredient that goes into the burrito and how tightly said burrito is wrapped.
here's my technique - i order a regular sized burrito, not a super burrito, and go half grilled vegetables, half carnitas. and by grilled vegetables i don't mean just some peppers and onions, i'm talkin eclectic stuff. you got your broccoli, your brussel sprouts, your squash, your carrots, etc. see, you can convince yourself it's healthy. the carnitas is juicy and delicious. and if you order half of one and half of the other they only charge you for one but pretty much give you a full order of each. see? trust me, let it happen. you'll like it.
then make sure they give you black beans. when they go for the beans they always go pinto. not sure why. ask for black.
the guac is good, and doesn't drown your burrito like it does at chipotle. add it. and add some pico while you're at it, it's delicious. just say yes and we'll move on.
and the final touch - that burrito is rolled so tight and compact.... mmm.
so if you couldn't tell, in the great burrito debate, i'm on team anna.
Okay, people, here's the deal: Anna's straight-up rules.
I've been coming to Anna's for upwards of 10 years, and it's still a regular go-to location -- and I keep making new discoveries! Start off with the safe chicken or steak, explore carnitas and graduate to chile verde. Ready to pass the final exam? Get a lengua super burrito (or super quesadilla if you're feeling particularly gluttonous!) with everything. Tender, juicy, delicious. (And you get super respect points for eating tongue!)
The Davis location is my current local one, and with the exception of sometimes being inexplicably smoky, it's basically the same as all the others. Which is to say totally awesome.
Okay, maybe you come from California where all the burritos are more authentic, or don't like dealing with the rushed service, or prefer the collected pseudo-industrial sterility of Chipotle. Bleh! Give me the Massachusetts Tex-Mex, somewhat gritty, super high-speed service at Anna's any day!
The chicken burrito I had was very good. I got a chips and salsa too. I liked the salsa but the chips seemed like below average out of the bag. Call it sterile, but the food at Chipotle is better. For the super burrito, chips and salsa, and soda, I spend roughly $10, not cheap by any means.
I liked the atmosphere here, and like the feeling of Davis Square in general.
As we were finishing our meal, the music switched from something I had not noticed to Dr. Dre's "Explosive," which luckily for me did not foreshadow a type of diarrhea.
Growing up in the Boston area, Anna's was the place to go for us hungry, cheap high school students. For a long time, I thought it could do no wrong. However, after going away to school for a while and coming back to live a 12 minute walk from two different Anna's, its appeal to me just isn't what it once was. Not to say I don't still enjoy it, but I don't nearly as much as I did when I was younger. Plus, it's cash only, which is always a bummer. But for a cheap, quick meal, it's still great.
Growing up in Oakland, CA means that no where on the east coast (except this hole in the wall place in NYC's morning side area) has good real mexican food. Anna's is edible though, the meat is decent and the salsas are ok. It's more expensive than it should be for the quality, but that seems to be a popular trend on the east coast. Actually, here it's a pretty good deal. I would definitely go back because it's the best I've found, unfortunately, but next time I may bring it home and make my own guacamole, fresh chips and salsa.
Good news, food is tasty.
Bad news, every 3rd or 4th eating I feel a little ill after eating there. I wrote it off as "spicy food" until last night when I spent 12 hours vomiting and otherwise. I literally has body cramping and was disoriented (no alcohol or drugs involved)
I don't know if its food mishandling or cleanliness or what. But I must strongly state this place NOT recommended
1. I am going to lose some friends over this review and I know it, but I don't want to shell out 35c for guac on my burrito, dammit! To you: happy birthday, and it's been fun.
2. I'm a vegetarian (oh I hope your eyeballs get stuck right up there in your head where you rolled them up to, Ben K!), so read this review as a comparison of veggie burritos.
3. What is up with that watery salsa and hot sauce? Why not season the beans? The 35c guacamole? Anything?
4. Finally, do NOT try to get all Boston up on me and tell me I'm just too princess to deal with their "efficient" (surly) service -- because that man that spends 90 seconds finely chopping that one limp piece of broccoli that I can comfortably bite and chew anyway and THEN puts half of it back in the veggie bin is the opposite of efficient and makes me age and RAGE.
I'm going to Chipotle.
Damn. That's some pushy ass service. "What do you want? Come on!"
Is there really that much rush at nearly 11pm when there are 4 people total in the place, us being at the end of the line? Come on now.
It's a Taqueria in Boston... well, Cambridge. What, you got high expectations? On the grand scale of burritos, this place rates pretty damned low on the totem pole but the beauty of it is that the people here have little to no idea about that fact. If you grew up in Boston you might think this is what burritos are like everywhere -- and while not a horrible burrito, it's definitely what you would expect to find in New England.
Let's repeat that -- This burrito is what you would expect to find in New England. For Boston it's a pretty legit burrito (hence the three stars) but again, expected.
Since there's a myriad of colleges all around the area, let's put it this way...
This is the burrito that would either just slip by, or wouldn't make it passed the acceptance process into Burrito College. That's real.
Of course there's better places for burritos and tacos in CA, but in boston, I think this is the best.
If you're craving a burrito, go here over chipotle or qdoba, etc.
Pros: The steak is real tasty, good gaucamole, cost me under $10 for a super burrito with a drink and chips and gauc
Cons: Pinto beans are too hard, and no hot sauce at tables! What's up with that? They could use a good salsa bar or something for people to spice up their burritos if they want
For the price, you can't beat it for a good filling meal
In a pinch, this place'll do, but as the guy before me said, the service is reminiscent of Seinfeld's Soup Nazi.
I have never been so stressed out trying to order what I want, I feel pushed prodded and just plain bullied. Heaven forbid you have a question! This is so far from customer service I feel like my burrito is being blamed for all the wrong in the world done to the people who work here.
Seriously, what did my burrito do to you people? Why the hate? They slap the ingredients into that toritlla like some kind of old school nun with a ruler to a naughty Christian child's behind!
The taste is alright, but nothing is worth the kind punishment my burrito and my general good cheer endures at the hands of these haters. Good food is made with love, thank goodness for Chipotle's, their kindness, patience, and inclination towards more wholesome ingredients! I'm off to give them 5 stars, later Anna's!
Anna's you've been naughty...turning my lovely smile into a severely dissappoointed frown.
double charging on cheese, super charging on guac, sour cream and beans. =(
double =(.
not that im that much of a miser, just let me know in advance that you're gona pinch my pocet, i miss the carefree days when $5 would stuff me till cinco de mayo (super burritos have an "itis - inducing" effect)
oh well, mayb boca grande can substitute..
Hola, me das un Taco de al pastor, por favor!
Well... As I do hail from East Los Angeles, California, home of the taco truck, I will give Anna's a decent grade.
Mexican Authenticity:
It passes most of my expectations of such a place, because it is "Boston" and I can attest to the difficulty in making even decent homemade Mexican due to the lack of proper regional ingredients. This place with a few others in Boston are about as close as you are going to get "authentic" street style tacos. Like alot of places, they use a "tortilla presser", I hate this.. but it is standard. This place with a few others in Boston are about as close as you are going to get "authentic" street style tacos. Like alot of places, they use a "tortilla presser", I hate this.. but it is standard. I find that my main complaints have to do with the amount of gristle in the Al Pastor (its still my favorite)..but it is one of the only things they cook authentically (spit roasted with pinapple or onion on top). For the most part, your most authentic bets on meat are the "Al Pastor", "Chicken", and "Carnitas." I also HIGHLY RECOMMEND drinking their "Horchata" which (for you gringos) is a cinnamon-rice water drink... its actually really good here... and its made in house.
Salsa:
Unfortunately... not a great place for Salsa mongers... their salsa verde is pretty pithy.. and I wouldn't exalt it.. . but.. it is passable.. and wonderful for its basic use of adding more flavor.
Hottie Watch:
Fridays are the best nights for catching cuties in here. I would say between 10:30 and 11:30.. they close at midnight on weekends.. so... you can usually find a decent selection of hungry cuties...
Burritos:
Not really worth it.. I'd stick with Tacos if you are a meat person... their burritos scrimp on the meat and they add cheese even when you don't ask.
Great burritos. nuff said.
Yikes. Anna has to be the patron saint of drinking, because if it weren't for booze and poor descision making, I've never come here at all.
A burrito or taco isn't really difficult to make, and is even harder to "eff up", but on more than a few occasions, I've walked out of this place with the look on my face that a child has when his ice cream falls off the cone. Its TECHNICALLY Mexican food, but I really can't see how one would go here (of sound mind) when there are soooo many better places to get a Mexi-bite in this town.
Also, what is the point of having prices listed if EVERYTHING you get on a taco has a surcharge? I got a taco with lettuce, cheese, and salsa. This is about as puritan as a taco can get, and I was STILL charged an extra 75 cents. Is this inflation? Has our economic crisis spread to the world of fast food? WTF!
In one disappointing trip to Anna's, the tacista (did I just make that word up?) forgot to put cheese on my taco as requested. I was so kind as to point it out and suck up the fact that the cheese would likely cost whatever bizarre amount they decided. He fixed this by throwing a cold slice of American cheese on top of my taco and handing it back to me. Nothing spells authentic Mexican cuisine like a cold individually processed slice of American cheese sitting on top of a taco.
Go to Chipotle. Thank me later.
I was back in Boston for a friend's wedding and while my visit was short I had a short list of places I wanted to hit up. Anna's was one.
It was also the first place I ate when I arrived. My sister-in-law met me in Porter Square and we indulged in some delicious burritos. Of course they aren't really what I remember. Perhaps that is because I have grown accustomed to SoCal burritos.
It was still enjoyable and they have pretty good jamaica.
What happened, Anna's? When I lived in Somerville, I loved your bean and cheese burrito. Unlike other burrito joints, you melt your cheese on the tortilla, so I don't shed shredded cheese everywhere when I eat. I thought we were going to have a happy reunion when I visited this summer.
Even though the cheese is still melted on the tortilla, something's not right. I know I'm missing out on some flavor since I ask for vegetarian rice and no meat, but I've enjoyed your burritos this way before. Now my burrito is a little too wet and lacks flavor. The freshly squeezed orange juice is still refreshing, but let's not kid ourselves here, I'm here for the burrito, not juice.
Anna's of the past deserved four stars. Anna's now, two. I'll give three stars and hope that you shape up next time I'm in town.
In the incredible heat and business of the Artbeat Festival yesterday, Anna's was my savior. It was my savior, but also like a mirage in the desert. Fussy Gussy's booth (AKA me!!!) was set up right across the street from Anna's, and all morning/early afternoon I looked forward to my lunch time burrito. And oh boy, did Anna's deliver!!! SO yummy. Hot, fresh, really, really good.
They also saved me from passing out from heat stroke and thirst (okay, I'm exaggerating a bit here, but trust me...I was VERY thirsty and hot by the end of the day). I ran into Anna's and didn't need to wait even a minute to grab to ice cold waters for my mom and myself.
All in all a great experience. I highly recommend Anna's for all of your burrito, soft taco, enchilada needs.
No burrito for you!
This place reminds me of the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld where you have to know exactly what you want when you get to the counter or they'll send you away. Ok, they won't send you away but they try to rush you along which I like because it makes the service quicker. So the first time might be a bit daunting but after you get the hang of it, it's worth it.
Flavors are great and I enjoy that they pack the burrito tight which makes it easier to eat. Chips and Guac are also a must.
I just wish I lived closer as I don't get here as often as I'd like.
Gross burritos and service with an eye roll.
The tortillas are chewy and tasteless. So is the cheese. Dry, unsalted meat gets thrown in these "tortillas," along with cheap, bland rice and watery vegetables. Ewww. Every time I come here, I think about how Mexican food on the East Coast is impossibly bad.
Pretty good Tex-Mex can be found at Border Cafe in Harvard, or down the street at Chipotle. In fact, I have no idea why people come here when Chipotle is down the street. At least they know what hot sauce should taste like, and I can get a burrito without feeling like I've interrupted a conversation.
P.S: The tables are normally sticky from cleaning solution. Lovely.
Suck it, Anna's!
How in the holy Hell did Anna's get such good reviews? Are all of you high? Drunk? Although I guess drunk and broke would be the only way one would really venture in here.
Anna's is great if you want a sub-par burrito that will keep you on the toilet for at least a day afterwards.
I've been a huge fan of Anna's for almost 10 years or so now. Lately though I felt like it had fallen off a bit. If you asked me 3 hours ago who makes the best burrito in Boston I'd have instantly told you Felipe's Taqueria in Harvard Square. I'd probably still tell you that now, but I might pause for a few seconds and think about the WILD burrito I had tonight.
We stumbled out of Sligo Pub at around 12:57am and were ready to head for Felipe's (which I know is open til 2, incredible) when my friend spotted some patrons inside Anna's across the street being served. Wow! We can still make it! We went across the street and got the last 2 burritos of the night. Two identical burritos: super carnitas, black beans, lettuce, salsa, hot sauce, sour cream, guac, jalapenos. Believe me when I say THEY WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD. I wish I got another one to go for tomorrow's lunch. They are even good cold straight from the fridge! Kudos to you Anna's, you're one step closer to winning back my artery clogged heart.
I don't know what the love affair with Anna's Taqueria is all about.
The location isn't bad. It's right in Davis Square in the middle of all the action. But if you're driving there by car parking can sometimes be a little bit tricky.
The service ranges from so-so to poor. I've never received phenomenal service there but certainly have received service so poor, where I came close to walking out on the person working behind the counter on account of their attitude. The people working behind the counter tend to have a chip on their shoulders and treat you very poorly. I've yet to receive good service there.
As for the food- it's nothing special. I'll admit that the portion sizes there are pretty decent but honestly, I think a Burrito from Taco Bell tastes better than Anna's any day. I find Anna's food to be very bland. Plus they don't have hard shelled taco's, which I prefer.
There are several other places in and around Davis Square that I'd recommend going to before Anna's. Sorry Anna, but all and all, I wouldn't recommend your place.
Alrighty, Anna's taqueria....hands down the best burrito place in boston -- possibly the world.
I've worked my way through the burrito ranks at Anna's over the years, and I've even tried the tacos and the "Quesadilla" -- which is really just a fried burrito....insert salivation here.
I started, of course, with the chicken burrito, worked my way through the steak, to the carnitas (for a short period), and finally to where I am today: chili Verde.
each step along the way has been the best, although I do have to say the carnitas are a bit bland for me.
Super chili verde here I come!
Ya maybe its quick college food...but its damn good!
I still got love for you Anna's. Yes you are better than those other fast burritto joints out there. Hold your head high.

Anna's taqueria is one of my favorite places...being that I love mexican food.

uuuuuhh? How in the world did such good carnitas show up in Massachusetts? Went to visit my daughter who said Anna's was good. But she pretty mainstream, so I didn't expect anything extraordinary. Those carnitas will make you hurt yourself! It's hard enough trying to find decent mexican food in West L.A. That's because their in Summerville!
I can't say that I've tried anything except the carnitas.......the plate and the burrito and the quesadilla. All very tasty. The pico de gallo is fresh, but has no "pico" (chilie peppers), still nice. The green hot sauce, is very very mild. But perhaps it's tailored for the neighborhood, understandable. I needed extra, then extra again.
They've got fresh squeezed orange juice and horchata, a traditional rice & cinnamon sweetened drink. yummy and refreshing. The rice is light and fluffy, but lacks seasoning. However, their 3 types of beans (whole, refried, black) all rock! The price is right and portions generous. Now I'm back home searching for my own carnita go-to place aside from my own kitchen, down the hall and to the left.
Anna's is fine, Anna's is an easy, tasty meal, but Anna's is not what it used to be. Years ago, when I was a naive youngster just starting the scary college world, the burritos were a great deal for the price. Huge, packed with deliciousness, and just so astoundingly cheap. Now, as a naive slightly-less-youngster just starting the scary real-life job world, the burritos are much smaller than they used to be.
I should mention that I'm a vegetarian, so I don't have the added bulk of lots of mean. But if you ask for more beans or rice, they are not so pleased.
Personally, I would suggest Emiliano'z if you're in the Tufts area. Still cheap, but very clean, very nice waitstaff, fun decor, and better food.
IF you think the burritos here suck, you're wrong.
Period.
The secret of what makes these burritos so delightful? A beautiful moist yet somewhat elastic tortilla keeps everything right where it should be. Not to mention, that 'everything' is a delicious and well seasoned carne or al pastor.
Also, the quesadillas will put you back in the gym, but they're simply awe inspiring (well, nothing simple about it). Crunchy, not TOO greasy, but does get drippy with all the fillings... and all for under $6, in Boston NEXT TO a university... that's a great deal!
THAAAAAA BEST!
Unless you're a true food critic with a tongue insured at Lloyds of London, and you run around the world comparing Tacquerias on every corner of the earth, then get off your high horse!
Anna's Tacqueria is simply the tops at what it does: wrap all kinds of savory foods into a burrito and send you home feeling you ate a small Mexican sealion. No kidding. I'm uploading a pic of my burrito and if you can eat one of these and still be hungry, then as my Italian step-Aunt used to say, "God Bless Ya, Honey!"
They've got Carne Asada, Chili Verde, Steak, blah blah blah blahhhhh, (you know what can go in burritos!), and they wrap it... JUST THE WAY YOU WANT IT....PUT WHATEVER YOU WANT IN IT... grab a drink, go sit down and EAT...!!!
Thank god they keep the decor simple and unintrusive. Who wants to pay more for a burrito just to support the furniture bills? Not me! Some places I care about the decor, but not here. As for the friendliness of the staff, it isn't even an issue. You don't even talk to them long enough that it becomes a point worth grading them for. I'm not here to be coddled. I'm here to eat a fantastic burrito and that's what they give me.
I pick out the ingredients, they splice it together, then ship it to the cashier. She takes my money, politetly thanks me and I am either OUTTA THERE, or sitting down to hammer something the size of a Rocket Propelled Grenade down my foodpipe.
I look at my nephew who not only treats a trip to Anna's as a tradition but taught me that driving 20 extra minutes for something superior when you can have a "prettty good one" just down the street, is well worth it. Chipotle is within 5 minutes of my place but I'll drive 20-25 min for Anna's... THAT's how much we like it.
Like I said... if you're not a food critic with an axe to grind, I'd bet you have no problem placing Anna's in your list of Top 1 Taquerias. ;)
NOW GO EAT!
Grilled chicken super burrito - Super dry even when loaded with salsa and guacamole. The only discernable flavor seemed to be the char on the chicken marinated in dish water.
Service is overly friendly if you're an attractive woman. I was impressed by how neatly the burrito was packed and wrapped to go. I guess the price range is right where it should be for this sort of experience.
Anna's and I have had an on-again, off-again relationship for years. However, they suffered a massive FAIL when some douche of a guy decided to take me here on a first date. Um, what? That night was the moment I realized that Anna's food is cheap and gross, full of calories and devoid of quality and value. Kind of like the guy I was with. Hooray for moments of clarity. Boo to men right out of the TLC song, "No Scrubs."
Oh, and one more thing. Places that do not accept credit/debit cards need to get with the 2009 times. Pshhh.
I've ordered the Carne Asada burrito from Anna's 3x. This is not the place for anyone from CA, the southwest, or anywhere there are actual Mexicans.
Liked:
The price
The speed
The portion
Disliked:
Flavorless, rubbery meat
Watery, flavorless pinto beans
Dominantly white clientele
Anna's is one of the more controversial joints in Boston. I agree with the group that thinks Anna's is just plain bad. Why? Because I come from Southern California, and I know better.
Snobbery? You better believe it. But here's the thing: Anna's just misses on so many of the simple things. The emphasis at Anna's is clearly quantity and price point over any kind of quality. They just throw as many things into a large tortilla as they can, and if you like 95 competing things in your mouth, more power to you. Me, I like meat that tastes like it has been seasoned and cooked on a grill. Anna's tastes like its been sitting in a pan for hours. I like beans that add a salty, savory taste to a burrito. Anna's tastes like they've been soaked in water, but not cooked. The tortillas? They're wet, rubbery, and generally tasteless. If you think that a burrito is defined by the salsa that's contained therein, then maybe Anna's is fine for you. But I pity you.
In Somerville, try Tacos Lupita (near Porter), or Taco Loco (near Sullivan). They're both as cheap, have good quantity, and aren't overrun with white college kids from New Jersey.
I'm not going to lie - when I was out drinking on a Saturday night at the Joshua Tree (on July 4th no less!) and I saw that Anna's was open until 1 AM, I "J*zzed in my Pants" Lonely Island styles.
Chipotle? Garbage. Qdoba? Terrible. Anna's is where it's at. There's nothing like a super chicken and carnitas burrito with beans, rice, guacamole, and hot sauce. There's something about the way they pack that burrito that all the flavors blend perfectly. It's not like Qdoba where every bite you take is all guacamole or all sour cream. Saying that these aforementioned places are in the same league as Anna's is preposterous.
The burrito makers are quick and dirty, slapping everything you want in that tortilla, and before you know it, you're tearing off the aluminum foil and in burrito heaven.
There's not much else I can say about it. Oh wait, yeah there is - their chips and guacamole are awesome too.
It's by far my favorite burrito place.
Anna's Taqueria and Anna Kournikova. Two Anna's purportedly talented, but ended up wasted.
Call me ignorant, but when I think Mexican food I think flavor. And flavor is the least of what I had at Anna's. After multiple visits here, I still haven't figured out how this place secured an average of 4 stars with over 100 reviews. Everything that I have has been bland. Truthfully, at times i realize for the same price Taco Bell provides better options.
....And where the hell is the hot sauce?
This is a nice place for when you need to get something on the go. More than once I have gotten a regular chicken burrito with a couple fillings, and walked and ate while on my way to my next destination. It's the perfect size and shape to eat while on the go but still be filling - not like the bowling ball of food some places give you. Their cheese is always melted just right too - warm, soft, and perfect with your choice of meat.
For $5 on the run, you can't really go wrong here.
Boston has a LOT of Taqueria choices, but the one I find myself at the most is definitely Anna's. I'm a creature of habit so I almost always get get a carnitas burrito; the meat is just amazing, especially if you get a freshly cooked batch. The salsa and guacamole are both very good. As far as sauces go, I highly recommend the "red sauce"; they don't keep it out with the other sauces but will give it to you upon request. I'm a fan of spicy but not "all I can taste is burning" so its the perfect level of heat for me. I recently went there for breakfast and had a breakfast burrito; it was very good as well!
Oh, wah wah wahmbulance, alla youse who grew up in a state close to Mexico. I'm Canadian and I'm not all dissing American maple syrup. We do what we can. And Anna's does it kickass.
I don't want to knock Chipotle or Boloco (though Lord knows SOMEONE ought to--an extra $2 for guacamole, Chipotle? For shame!), but there's just something about a nice, tightly wrapped, chicken/rice/beans/pico/guac/sour cream/hot sauce taste of Anna's, chased with some salty fried chips and a fountain-mixed diet coke.
Don't believe me? Go back stoned. You're welcome.
I approach the counter like a kid heading for Santa's lap. The mistro behind the counter effortlessly constructs a masterpiece of meat and cheese, and whatever odds and ends I see fit. A little guacamole? Why the f*** not?
I shuffle down the the cashier smiling ear to ear. Gladly paying such a minimal price for the bounty I'm about to be rewarded. I sit down and breath deeply in preparation. I start slowly sliding the foil wrap down like its the dress of a beautiful lolita, and feel a silent pity for the one across from me forced to witness the carnage which is about to ensue. I take the first bite like a great-white shark bites into an unsuspecting seal. I tear and shred through carnitas, and gorge on hot sauce infused rice and salsa. I enhale the burrito enjoying every succulent bite down to the melty, juicy, cheesy last bite. I am deeply satisfied but still stare longingly at the empty wrapper as if I'm watching a gorgeous mexican goddess leave my bedroom after a one night stand. The ordeal is over, but there is no question. I will be back for more.
Last time I went there I got 1/2 Carnitas, 1/2 Broiled chicken, rice, no beans, extra hot sauce, extra cheese, salsa, and lettuce, but I switch it up. I got a super-super once too where the guy melted 2 supers together for a giant god-like burrito. They don't do that for just anyone though, you have to schmooze them. If your a spanish speaking white guy it helps. Anna's is superb. 5 stars.
Hands down my favorite Mexican since I left San Diego. The Burritos are HUGE and delicious. I always get the same thing Bean and Cheese Super Burrito and it is heavenly. If you like hot sauce their green hot sauce is superb. I always ask for extra. I have never eaten there. I park real quick... run in and take it to go. Its Cash only so dont forgot that.
The workers are all super nice...and I just love stopping in there. I havent had any of the meat so I cant speak to that but what I do get there is amazing and the price is unbeatable. Such a yummy, quick and inexpensive dinner for under $6.50. And thats for the bean & cheese super burrito with the works!!
My heart beats faster just thinking about it.... *sigh*. LOL! I love you Anna's!!!
I love Anna's Taqueria. This specific location seems even better than all the others I've been to for some reason.
Super chile verde. Rice, black beans, jalapenos, and lettuce. Best burrito in Boston. You can thank me later.
this place is the best food in the world, good prices, when i go into davis i go here a lot! great food.
Weird staff, really hot in here though, open the door.
